Great location on the beach. They offer a free breakfast which is adequate. CocoLoco have a great bar which I think is the best 'beach bar' on the island! Nice staff.

Lovely staff-really helpful and beach is right on your doorstep!

The only thing I disliked about this hotel was when you’re laying on the beach they only let you have the chairs. The hotel owns in the shaded area. They would not let you move them to the sunny area.

It has been an amazing and pleasant stay. The staff were all hospitable and helpful. They all made our stay a very memorable one. I would highly recommend them.

The staff were amazing, especially the bar/restaurant staff. We love the location and the room was clean and nice. The only thing is that they only have two pillows and charging additional 150php per pillow, a at

Excellent hotel in the beach front. Spotless, very good service. A la cart breakfast. Great value for money. Great location at station 3 quite area but a few minutes from all restaurants in station 2.

This is the best! Room was perfect. Comfortable bed, ac and fan. Mini bar if you want. Clean, has a safe, kettle, bottled water, 3 in 1. Nice shower with hot water. The restaurant is good, breakfast was included. The bar is exactly what I wanted. Tiki theme, on the beach, beautiful sunsets. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Paying for ice..Paying for someone to bring food to your room. ALL very cheap and unprofessional.

Very beautiful property with really nice staff! It's located in the more chill area of Boracay, around station 3, which I prefer over the business of station 2.
The hotel has several separate buildings and rooms vary a bit: I had a very modern one in the building close to the reception and later moved further up the hill into a room with a more rustic feeling (which was still completely fine).
The property is very clean and well maintained in general. You will find the occasional explorative (tiny) ants in your room, but otherwise had no problem with insects at all.
The hotel itself is 30 meters away from the beach, so it's really quiet at night. First time in the Philippines I could sleep without earplugs! Only slight downside: the air-con is quite loud, so I preferred to switch it off at night after cooling down the room in the evening.
The bar/restaurant is directly on the beachfront and beyond beautiful! They serve breakfast until 11, which is nice for people like me who start their days slow :)
Main meals are good, but pricey. You can also go to the place directly next doors for dinner, which has excellent food and is a little bit cheaper.
Overall: highly recommended! When I come back to Boracay, I come back to Cocoloco!

One of rhe best vacations yet! The staffs hospitality was unmatced to any other hotel we had stayed at. We are already planning our next trip to Cocoloco in Boracay!

Old traditional and flavor of Boracay before the Shakey’s Pizza and McDonalds showed up!!!!!

Beautiful and clean room. Wonderful staff and location. Only drawback was the construction happening next door. Very loud and annoying.

Thoroughly enjoyed our time staying at CocoLoco.
We booked the room right at the front which features a large balcony overlooking the beach and main pedestrian walkway - a wonderful place from which to watch the world go by.
There are 2 or 3 rooms right by the beach, the rest are a short walk away (literally a minute or so) and are in a lovely garden area. Our room was clean, comfortable, surprisingly spacious and honestly just what we needed. You don't come to Boracay to be in your room!
Only thing to note: if you're above the bar, you will hear a little noise from the music. This didn't bother us, but I know what some people are like.
Enjoyed the breakfast each morning, definitely advise giving the local dishes a try. Sometimes they will sell out if you leave it too late to go for breakfast, a testament to how nice they are.
All day happy hour is a nice added bonus for guests. Cheers!
The area surrounding CocoLoco is a quieter part of the island. However, it's only a short walk to the party vibes, if that's what you're looking for. The bar itself seemed to be favored by many of the locals we spoke to.
And let me finish with the staff. Well, in general, I've always felt incredibly welcome in the Philippines and the staff at CocoLoco were no different. Friendly, helpful and just nice people overall. From the moment we arrived, until the second we left, they took excellent care of us. Thank you!
I can't recommend CocoLoco enough.

Nothing special. No pool. No gym. The sink broke. The fridge made a lot of clicking and clacking noises. The staff was above average. The property next door was always burning waste or leaves in their backyard and the smell of their waste burning got into the room. Theres free WiFi but the signal was so weak and spotty that it was virtually useless. The hot water didnt really get hot or warm. But I was told thats normal for Boracay.

All-in-all the stay wasn’t bad...the grounds were nice, the staff very pleasant and the food decent. The hotel was at Station 3 and a considerable distance to other restaurants and nightlife...this may be appealing to some, but I found it a bit isolated. No fault of the hotel however. The grounds and room were clean; however if you are looking for hot water this is not your place. My biggest issue with the hotel is the advertised room size versus what you get. The hotel advertises 323 square feet; however the room was 150 at best. Even this is generous given that the bathroom wall and closets block off another 20. I have been in rooms in Tokyo that were more generous in size (but at least I got what was advertised). In the end, I feel mislead despite all the positives, as I made my booking decision based on false information. This of course leaves a bad taste....something you don’t want on vacation.

Overall: 2/5
Room: 2/5, Bed: 2/5, Bathroom: 1/5
This hotel is in need of a serious room renovation. Although the rooms are reasonably sized, the furniture is poorly built. The bed strained under the weight of a 190lb man. There was a nice little ant colony in the corner, and cockroaches made their way into our luggage. The bathroom is terrible. The shower has randomly available hot water and the drain barely works. The sink is tiny and has no hot water.
Restaurant: 2/5
The restaurant here is not good. Every other restaurant that we ate at on the island was better. The food was always overcooked and bland. We asked to speak to the owner to share our concerns about the food and were subtly told to shut up.
Bar: 4/5
The bar is pretty cool here. It's a quaint little tiki style beach bar with a pool table and decent cocktails. The happy hour deal is 2 for 1 drinks, but beer is excluded for some reason. The staff is usually very friendly, but most of them are inexperienced and tend to spend most of their time chatting together.
Housekeeping: 2/5
Housekeeping here is very basic. We only received fresh towels once during our week long stay and our bedding was never changed.

The place was well maintained and clean. A quiet place away but still within convenient distance from the bustling Station 2. Staff were friendly, too.

We loved our stay but it does seem a bit outdated. The inside is very dark and stuck in 1979. For the price, it was totally worth it, but it feels like a family run business. The staff was kind but the food was overpriced and lacking. Our first day they served the worst french fries ever. It felt more like a B&B than a hotel. I found this hotel via Tripadvisor and I would advise people to stay there but eat elsewhere. Station 3 is the best place to stay. The rest of the stations were tacky and loud.

Great balcony with sea view in my room. Staff were great throughout the stay.

My partner and I went to Boracay for my 7th month babymoon. My OBGYN advised me to take a vacation because I would not be able to do so as my pregnancy progresses. We originally booked a hotel which was truly beachfront because I have placenta previa totalis which means I have an increased risk of pre-term birth and should minimize walking and stressful activities. We were sorely disappointed when we were asked to rebook because our original hotel booking was supposedly accidentally double booked. We were given other options which Hotels.com claimed to be "beachfront" and were given links to the alternative hotels. Based on the product listing you would not be able to tell that Cocoloco is not really beachfront. Cocoloco had the best rating among the options so we reluctantly and submissively agreed. But when we got there, there is a long walkway going to the rooms. The room was very tiny as well unlike in the product listing. Lunch and dinner meals were expensive. The only plus were the smiling and endearing staff (and the daily room clean up service). To make matters worse, we would pass by our original hotel choice and found out that it was unoccupied during our first 3 nights in Boracay. We would have gladly just stayed 1 night in another hotel if Hotels.com told us that. So everyday, as we walk by the beach, we would see our first choice room unoccupied and would sadly tell each other "that's were we should have stayed if only..." :(

I like that it’s a family business & it’s been there a long my time. It’s right next to the beach so for price, I don’t think it can be beaten. We booked a regular garden room but were upgraded to a deluxe garden room (probably because we were staying 5nights) This was still very good of them for £25 per night was good value with breakfast. Our flight had been cancelled so we had to book an extra single night in a deluxe room which was £55, it’s not worth that £35 max. However the room had a double & single bed, big room but with chunky wooden furnishings which looked nice but were completely uneven so you had to watch whenever you put a cup down. The fridge worked well, TV with English movie channels, air con was old style box type, worked well but was loud. Breakfast had lots of choice (why they only toast 1 side of the bread I don’t understand). The problem with this hotel is it’s rules & paperwork. 2 pieces of paper just to get breakfast & there is no milk included in the tea!!! Beach towels can be changed every 3 days (which I applaud for the planet, but does it have to be a rule) Check in & out is on the dot, they were knocking on our door 5 mins before check out to tell us to leave!! We’re on holiday people, chill out. Saying that the staff are nice, food is OK, but there’s better options for less or same price up the beach (Cha Cha’s). The happy hour is also a big mean 241 on cocktails but not beers. Most places are 45-50 on the beach in happy hour, theirs are 60.

If you want a more calm and relaxing stay in Boracay this is a great place to be at. Yet walking distance to the action in station 2. Very friendly and helpfull staff. I would go back here again.

Located on Station 3, which is the best part of the beach. nicest sand and swimming area, not crowded like the other Stations and the staff are like family and treat you that way. The bar/restaurant is right at the beach walk so you are 10 sec. for the the beach! I would highly recommend Coco Loco Hotel. Would stay there again. We also booked a week in Station 1, but it was to busy, noisy and the beach is not as nice. (sea weed)...none in Station 3...a perfect beach.

I orginally booked for two nights. Never been to the resort before and so wanted to know if any good. Well I booked another 6 nights !! Its at an area called Bpat Station3 that is basically the quiet end. You can chiill out on the beach, in the day. The gardens at the back are well maintained, and the bar that fronts onto the beach is great place to eat and drink. The rooms are furnished tastfully with rustic type wood tables and shells decorating the shelves. The bathroom was excellent. The shower had two shower heads and was powerful and the water warm. I would have liked maybe a fridge in the room to chill drinks and stuff. The wi-fi is not always strong but does the job. In the evening if you want a party atmosphere you will need to take a 20 minute wander up to Boat station 2 area, where all the party people hand out and goes on till late in the morning. The staff are always freindly and helpful and with an hour of arriving they will all know and remember your name. Pound for pound...penny for penny, I do not think you will get better value than a stay at The CocoLoco
