The most magical place to stay. The staff was lovely, very helpful and friendly. You have to take a long tail boat from the main area of town, but that didn’t bother us. We loved being away from town. You stay here and feel like you’re in a different town, must less crowded and dirty than the main area of town. Rooms were clean, food was great, good snorkeling right off shore. Can’t recommend this hotel enough 10/1. There was a decent walk to our room, but we didn’t mind. You can call for a ride if you can’t walk up the hills

This resort was amazing! Beautiful beach the the view of the islands are spectacular. The rooms were cool bungalow style & had amazing view. The staff are very very friendly & helpful with anything you need. They speak many languages as well. I highly recommend & will stay here again

Beautiful resort with amazing views. We would definitely go back!
Only downside is you need to take a longboat to get into town. Depending on the time of day it may be 150-300 baht per person.
This means you’re away from the partying and craziness which we thought was worth it!

The views were to die for. Phi Phi island is beautiful and Phi Phi The Beach Resort is the place to go. Very quiet in the room, and the room had everything that you could ask for. The A/C worked flawlessly and I got some very much need sleep. Will definitely return.

This place is perfect for you if you plan on staying at the resort. If you want to visit the main part of town to eat, explore, party, shop… maybe consider a resort closer to the pier/main part of town. Sadly, the resort is only accessible via taxi boat (long tail boat) which costs 100-150 baht per person depending on the time you leave. Yes, there is a free taxi boat shuttle from the pier to the resort when you arrive and leave but otherwise you are on your own for transportation. It’s also worth mentioning that you get in the taxi boats through the beach (your shoes and feet will get wet). Otherwise, the staff is kind and friendly (they decorated my room for my birthday and gave us an upgrade in terms of the bungalow). The food is good and affordable given the location and the resort is beautiful since it is right on the beach and has its’ own private section. The bungalows are on a steep hill but you can grab a ride in a truck from the main lobby. All in all, an enjoyable stay and my sister and I would return there!

We enjoyed our stay and thought that the hotel was suitable for the price we paid. The food was average and with limited alternate restaurants around the area. Location is beautiful and makes this hotel what it is. Without the view and the perfect dream setting this hotel is average. We would have found it challenging to of stayed here for longer than our chosen time of 4 days due to it being isolated from the rest of the island. But for a short trip to phi phi this is suitable

The resort is beautiful!! The rooms are more like villas with amazing features and views! The staff is very accommodating especially Max, who went above and beyond! Highly recommend!

Very nice beach. Very close to Shark “island” for snorkeling right off the beach. More laidback for families

Big hill to accomodation did not like when no Tpt available

We loved the property, the location, and the staff.
We only had to call reception and someone would collect us from the room in a baht van to go down the hill to dining and the beach.
The views were amazing and the beach was perfect.
We thought we were in paradise.
The only thing stopping us scoring 5 on everything was the litter from drinks and food at the beach were not collected and this attracted flies and insects etc

Great little rooms on stilts. We had a lovely sea view. The bed was so hard we couldn’t sleep. We did ask for something to pad the bed and they said they would but didn’t do anything. The whole place is looking tired and needs maintenance. Painting, sweeping and gardening. There was even Christmas decorations left out, like no one could be bothered to put them away. Also a Valentine’s Day decoration still there 2 weeks after the 14th! The beach is lovely and worth spending time on. The resort needs to clear away broken chairs and rubbish. It seems to be a common problem.

Rooms felt dark with dark wood but were very nice. Uphill climb to the rooms was hard on our friends but the hotel provided transport to the rooms. Please apply rxpedia points to my account.

We love our stay in this resort. We reserve a Deluxe sea view room and the view was breath taking, definitely worth the extra money. The beach was beautiful and service was great. We'll definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay. It is a beautiful hotel but a few things let it down. Room and restaurant were very clean but there was quite a lot of rubbish - plastic bottles and general rubbish, around the resort. Maybe need more bins? Or encourage guests to take their rubbish.
Overall the staff were wonderful. Happy, cheerful and helpful. There were a couple of staff in the Lets See Bar who let the resort down. The lady and guy that ran the bar, the trips and the snorkel hire were quite miserable and not very accommodating. It seemed an effort for them to serve you and no smiles - like the staff in the rest of the resort. We hired snorkels for the day but in the afternoon we wanted to go for a walk and didn’t want to leave them lying around so we asked them if we could leave them at the bar and collect when we returned after a short walk, but they rolled their eyes at us and made it seem as if it was a huge effort - even though they did hold onto them for an hour in the end. Otherwise all staff were fabulous :)

This is the second time we have stayed at this resort and it does not disappoint. The views from the villas are amazing, the beach and pool are spectacular, and the staff are friendly and helpful. We will be back!

Be careful! Transfer from pier to hotel is by longboat, and they are not easy to board and inboard. Rooms/cabins are very basic. One roll of toilet paper per couple per day. Our room didn't get cleaned. We both became ill from the food, so be careful what you eat. Don't eat any chicken dish. Room information card disagreed with staff. WiFi was working only 20% of the time. We won't be back.

Awesome little gem if you are looking for beautiful views, eady access to sightseeing, less crowds than in the city and just relaxing vibes. Monkeys (including baby) visited us on the balcony shortly after arrival - so cool. Can strongly recommend a Sea View villa if you have fresh legs to take the stairs up and down. Very cosy lay-out with stairs running between the houses in uneven rows and with varied hights. Colourful gish will swim around you while bathing. And Shark point is just roughtly 100 m from the beach where a coral reef hosts even more fish, sea urgins and mini-sharks. Great hotel for families and couples not looking for night life. Elderly and families with babies/small kids can be challenged by the stairs and lack of sun bed cushions.
We loved all of it and was sad to leave after 4 days in Paradise 😀

My room and the view from the room was awesome! The staff was so kind and accommodating my entire stay! Just a great place in a better location on the island. The complementary boat shuttle to and from the town marina was a huge perk!

Super friendly staffs, and the location is great as well. We snorkeled daily and saw lots of fishes. Will revisit for sure.

we had a very relaxing stay in sea view bungalow, there is beautiful beach and nearby sharkpoint for snorkeling, not so much of choice for food/speed boat trips tough.

The resort is beautifully situated at the end of the island right on Long Beach. Away from all the craziness of the main part of Phi Phi. Would highly recommend staying here.
The view from our room was out of this world. The only downside is the walk to get up to the room we had which was in the last row. But it also might’ve been the best view of the entire resort. So the long trek up the stairs was totally worth it.

Location is really nice- quiet and secluded. You do have to take a water taxi back and forth to town. There is a awesome beach where you can snorkel. Waters are calm and clear. Rooms are cute and spacious. Huge deck in the villas. Wifi is spotty so make sure you have a sim card. Bring lots of cash for the island but many places do take credit card. There were mice in our room, feces on the bed during the day, several days in a row and in the shower area.(These villas are in the jungle bush on the side of the hill). Recommend you don't leave any food out in your rooms and lock your bags up and keep off the floor. The villas are on steep hills and with the water taxis, this resort would not be friendly for anyone with any sort of mobility issue as a heads up. Restaurant is ok, overpriced to others down the beach that you can walk to such as Paradise Pearl. Breakfast is included and has good food.

Had such a great time staying at this resort. The views from the bungalows don’t even feel real they are so breathtaking. Has everything you need and we didn’t leave except to take an excursion to Maya Bay which we were able to book with the resort (must do). Food is really good and reasonably priced. The massages offered were fantastic and also well priced. If you want to feel secluded and get out of the touristy chaos that Phi Phi is known for, definitely go here. Only reason that this isn’t a 10 is because the toilet room and shower in the bungalow are exposed thermally to the outside so going to the bathroom can be a bit muggy. Also there are fair amount of stray cats one of which that kept trying to get into our room which was a daily battle. Wouldn’t let that keep us from recommending this place or staying here again.

Unfortunately I didn’t have a working shower for a whole day and it wasn’t fixed until the following day. The staff wasn’t the friendliest At the resort or the restaurant, except for the maids who always made you feel welcomed. I think the island is tired of all the tourists honestly.

We spontaneously booked a night after staying the two previous Nights at another Resort nearby. The bungalow was spacious enough but a little old. Bathroom was fine, the overall cleanliness as well. No mosquito net was provided. The room features a free mini bar which is filled daily with 2x water, Cola and a orange Drink.
The breakfast was good in my opinion, featuring Continental and thai options.
The restaurant Features a large selection of Items but is bad value in my opinion. The prices are high in comparison to other places on Ko Phi Phi.
Overall we were satisfied but prefered our previous Resort.

We were positioned in a room that adjoining rooms we being refurbished. From 740am every day the sound of hammers, tradesman and timbersaws operating reallydl destroyedmy piece and quite i hoped for .there were lots of spare rooms, cannot understand why they put us in middle of a work site

The views from our room were spectacular! On a great beach with great snorkeling and good dining options. Could be a bit of a hike up the hill but the bus boys were willing to drive us whenever we weren’t wanting to do the hike. The only negative is that there was loud music playing from 8-10pm each night that ruined some of the ambience we were expecting from being outside of town. Also good to note that the morning water taxi doesn’t always run starting at 7am due to low tides, so you may have to walk 40 minutes to town for early morning tours leaving from Ton Sai pier (the beach walk to town is very beautiful though, just ensure to allow extra time!).

The resort was amazing, views from the villas almost better than the photos showed. Staff all super friendly and helpful. We stayed here for 3 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. Easy 5 min trip to get there from the pier where the ferry drops off. Long Beach has other bars and restaurants close by as well. Afternoon trip to Pileh Bay was amazing. Only thing to note is sea urchins in the sea close to the lovely beach but lots of signs warning people on this.
5.0 / 5.0
Definitely will come back! The views are breathtaking from the balconies. Bufffet breakfast was a 7 out of 10. Would be a 9 or 10 out of 10 if it included specialty coffees & an omelet station.
2.5 / 5.0
Very idyllic and calm place to stay - secluded from the more touristy areas.
The only downside is that the sound isolation of the bungalows are basically non-existant and the motor-powered longtail boats are extremely noisy.
From a distance of a few hundred meters, for the noisiest boats, it can sound as if someone is mowing the lawn outside your window. Everything else is amazing, however, and we strongly recommend staying here.
The restaurant also has excellent food!

Gorgeous place - lovely staff

Nice resort further away from the busier backpacker place. The place would benefit from getting refurb a little bit in the room. But overall it was a great stay. Lovely staff, excellent dive center, a good place for a couple retreat.
2.0 / 5.0
From the outside the property looks great but the reality is that it fails to do the most basic of requirements from a hotel, which is to, at a minimum, provide a comfortable bed. A complaint I heard from every guest, myself included, is that the mattresses are absolutely rock hard. I've literally slept on carpeted floors that are more comfortable. The mattress is so bad that it gave me back pain so much that I would wake up multiple times during the night. To make matters worse, they seem to not understand what comfort is and none of the wooden seats at the restaurant or even the hard plastic (and battered) sun loungers have any padding on them whatsoever. Plus, if you expect a peaceful beach, you're mistaken. Long tail boats fly by almost constantly creating a phenomenal noise, and when they weren't, the hotel was blasting out musical so the idea of enjoying a tranquil beach isn't possible at this venue.
The one thing it has going for it is that the private section of ocean the property has cornered off is truly beautiful. It has an active coral with a whole array of tropical fish in water shallow enough to stand in. Feeling like your in a tropical fish tank is something I'll never forget.

Lovely location with an amazing beach. We stayed in a superior villa and the views were incredible. We would stay here again!
2.5 / 5.0
This is a lovely place. Not to big, not too small, just right. They offer rides to your room which might otherwise be a few flights of stairs up the hill. The restaurant was good, and the bar next door rented snorkel gear for cheap. They also had a fire dancers show in the evenings, which was fun.
Compared to town, this place is nice and quiet.
We saw a bunch of fish as we snorkeled in the swimming area.
The one downside of this place is that you have to use a water taxi to get there and back. The hotel provides one on your arrival and departure, but it's 100 THB per person each way other than that. If you are leaving early in the morning for scuba diving in town, you have to make arrangements at the bar the day before, and it costs 200 THB per person at 06:00. Perhaps I should have used the Blacktip dive shop, which is on premises.
