We drove 3 hours to stay at the Rennaissance hotel for the Godsmack Concert only to be told upon our arrival that our room was canceled. Supposedly for a leak but how convenient that the Fordham Football team were able to get rooms. Carson Dodge, the manager was horrible he has no empathy for customers. I would not recommend this place at all to stay. We had our pet with us so to find another place to stay at such short notice was not feasible. We ended up having to drive another 3 hours home without seeing the concert which we lost $635 for our tickets we could not resell. If I could give a negative 0 rating for the front desk I would, they need to go to a training on how to treat customers.

The elevator system could be better.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Renaissance Hotel. Everything from the valet at the corner, baggage help with the pirter

Room is not soundproofed as indicated. We could hear people in the hallways walking.
The bathrooms had rust all over the entrances of the door.
The entrance to get to hotel through parking lot was weird and smelled of urine.
Location not the greatest in terms of neighborhood with a jail a few blocks away but the stadium gives convenience.

Parking is horrible, must walk quite a distance from Parking garage, very noisy due to outside traffic, seriously not worth the money they charge.

This was an awesome property for a quick work trip! Their gym was nice but I discovered too late that they had a partnership with a local fitness center - I would def explore that partnership if you ever visit the hotel!

We had made our reservation in February and booked a king room. We showed up at 8p and were told they no longer had king rooms and we had 2 queens. That was disappointing. But we get up there and the beds are definitely smaller than queen - they seemed to be full. I was also charged $257 and think that was way more than the price on the invoice that says $187. Would like to discuss with someone.

Amazing stay, I come often to visit friends and family. They always take care of me and it’s definitely my local go to spot. Arguably one of the best spots to stay in the Allentown area.

Just tried to stay at a hotel close to the ppl center , but this place is attached. So cool to walk out of your room and right into the stadium. Awesome quick get away👍

Our stay would have been a 10/10 if it weren’t for the really nasty hostess and manager at the in house restaurant. I’ve never experienced such poor customer service as I did trying to get a table there. Still, these two women don’t define the entire place, I would definitely return.

Not bad.....Had to clean my own glass top on the coffee area.
And only 1 coffee cup. Normally I would not mind this stuff but for a hotel of this stature and cost I shouldn't need to do anything

I recommend this hotel- it's a little pricey but it's very clean and in the center of some action

Site was in excelent condition. Room were very nice. Only issue was signage to get back to parking garage was poor. There were 3 other prople wandering around with no clear drection to go.

ONLY ONE ELEVATOR WAS WORKING. VALET PARKING HAD ONLY ONE ADDENDANT. FOOD AT RESTAURANT WAS ONLY OK. NOT GREAT. BREAKFAST BUFFET WAS NOT GOOD.

The hotel is very clean and it was quiet after a rock concert. It seemed understaffed at the front desk. Available staff seemed uninformed and uninterested.
The valets for parking were very friendly and helpful however, the street was very disorganized already at 5 pm. There was a concert, a charity event, and a business convention all booked on the same day. It seemed the available hotel staff couldn't handle it.
The hotel restaurant, The Dime, was closed after the concert was over, by 10 pm on a Saturday night and the hotel does not offer room service, which left the option of uber eats for concert-goers. Ridiculous. We paid over $400 for the room for one night and couldn't even get something to eat at the hotel.
There are only 2 elevators in the hotel and one of them was non-functional which caused a wait for elevators.

Connected to PPL arena - so convenient! Valet was friendly. The front desk made my son a balloon animal while we were checking in. Restaurant was great and the bartender Zack was super nice! Hotel was super clean and beautiful. Will definitely be back.

Area getting to the hotel didn't look so safe. Homeless people standing right outside. Dunkin Donuts 2 blocks away.

The property itself is lovely, with the PPL center attached to it which is great if your going to a concert. But this makes parking a little crazy. If you’re not going to a concert, it can be loud, we heard the opening act in our bathroom on the 5th floor. Some areas around the hotel feel a little unsafe.
