The hotel and atmosphere was nice. The bungalow itself was quite nice, but sound insulation was lousy. The partial sea view was a joke because there are palm leaves hiding the view. In the hotel area there are many steps between the bungalows and the restaurant and pool area. Steps are higher than European standard.
Service in the restaurant was very good and food was tasty and reasonable prices! Also breakfast was extremely good, you can order what you like.
It's possible to walk to the Secret Beach, but there are few steep hills between. Haad Yao beach can be easily reached by taxi just waving it in the street of the hotel (400 baths for 2 persons one way).

I normally live in China. I happened to be in Europe when i was planning my stay here. My wife in Shanghai. Within a few days of booking the hotel the corona virus problem hit. I could not fly to China to get my wife, my wife could not leave Shanghai. I pleaded with this hotel and with Hotels.com/Expedia to cancel my reservation but they refused. Unacceptable behaviour.

We had an excellent stay here. The place is nicely designed with lush gardens and rooms set amongst them along various paths. We booked a semi sea view bungalow and were not disappointed. The room is beautifully designed with lots of space and a lovely deck to chill on. Service was excellent, pool is nice and location is on the best part of the island. We ate at the restaurant one night and it was excellent! Breakfast didnt impress but that may just be preference, bread was a bit soggy and not much avocado....the only slight issue but still an excellent stay!

We stayed at the resort for a week. At first it was not as we had hoped for and used to the hospitality of other 4-5 star hotels we had stayed at. Once we talked to the manager about the little things that needed addressed it amazingly happened. New owner and just attention to details. I would stay here again Thank you

Property has very nice beds and that is a good thing in Thailand. What I did not like was that most places at this price around Thailand pick you up at the Boat pier for free. Also have better room amenities. Had to call front desk for coffee and towels. Only three channels on the TV not that we watched that much but a couple days it did Rain and that is what we did. There are a lot of choices on this area of the island so just get a different place.

Very nice View!

We felt welcome from minute one. The staff is amazing and will make you feel comfortable at any time.
The bungalows are also nice. Beds a bit hard and a few ants here and there but that’s Thailand.
Breakfast is also really good. You can choose between several meals and all come with tea/coffee, juice and fresh fruits.
The pool is clean and most of the time not a lot of people around. It’s a perfect spot to view the sunset.
There are some restaurants around there but the next village where there are lots of restaurants and seven eleven is a ten minutes walk.

Upon arrival the staff immediately carried our bags from the taxi to reception and then to our room once we checked in. We ended up staying in a beachfront bungalow which had great views and seemed very private. Hotel staff was very friendly and took every measure to ensure we were enjoying ourselves.
