We stayed for one night, for an event nearby. We checked in after hours and left first thing the next morning, so we didn't see any staff - but they were helpful enough to call and explain the after hours check in process, which was very much appreciated.
The cabin itself was very basic. We were a little cold in the night and would've appreciated some extra bed linens, rather than needing to run a noisy electric heater all night (hence the lower "environmental" rating here). It's February. People are going to get cold in the night. Not providing extra blankets seems mean…
The listing didn't make clear that the cabins are duplex units. It wasn't an issue, as there was no one in the adjoining unit, but if it had been a family with kids, or a bunch of people staying next door, and if we'd been staying longer, it could well have been.
Finally, it rained all night we were there. Nothing the park can do about that, of course, but no doormats meant it was impossible not to walk dirt in from outside.

We enjoyed the room, stocked well, and close to the pier. Had fun in the game room and playing mini golf (could use a clean up and a few repairs, but overall very good) Many stores and restaurants nearby. Plan on going again in the spring, hopefully when pool opens.

Cabin was outdated. Central air or heat didnt work. 3 ac window units none worked. Wall heater in back bedroom didnt work. It was 46° the one night with no heat.

Beautiful area.. quiet and relaxing. Not for the weak walking. Very hilly Walk to the lake but worth it. Plenty of parking available on the lakefront..

The good! It was close to things we had planned to do. Pool was nice.
Not so good! Tv was on a antenna and channels would come in and out. Bed was squeaky. It was hard to walk from car to cabin.

We were totally deceived by what was presented for this property. It was our first time using Expedia and the property blamed Expedia for falsely advertising what amenities were available and the condition of the property. So who is to blame? All I know is that it was my daughters College graduation and we stayed up n a cabin that was definitely no where near what we thought we were getting. No one to check us in at 5:15 pm, no working pool, an awful cabin, a tiny shower, a bed on a literal box made of Plywood, I could go on….just awful!!

We were visiting Anderson University for my daughter. Our son attends Bob Jones University— so he was able to stay with us too. We celebrated Thanksgiving while here. Very nice place. Would love to stay again!

Great stay, everything was as described. Only issue was the Microwave did not work in the kitchen. Reported it to staff prior to leaving.

We stayed in a cabin. The cabin was very clean, however, it was on the older side. The only downside for me was that there were no hooks or counter space in the bathroom. A lot of space that could be used, but was not being utilized. No good TV, just antenna with only a few channels that went in and out.

Our family had a great time! Our cabin was nice and sufficient. Our TV did not work(the cord was missing), the parking is tight and the roads are rough. Other than that, it is a great place for a family vacation on the lake.

Great option for heading to Clemson to watch the Clemson Tiger football team!

At first, this seemed like an acceptable cabin. Given that it was at a campground, we weren't expecting a lot, so we accepted things like no wifi in the cabin, nearly impossible to shut bathroom door, tiny shower, not much AC in the bedroom, etc. So perhaps a solid 3 stars.
But then I had to contact them 4 days after we left to see when the $200 security deposit they took (which was NOT in our agreement) would be returned. They ended up refunding all but $35, saying that we stained 5 of their washcloths, hand towels, and/or rags (but refused to provide any details). Huh? I'm sure some people could manage to do that, but our family has never had a stain suddenly appear on a towel. We even brought our own paper towels (and toilet paper), and if there had been any spills would have cleaned them with the paper towels. And the towels we supposedly stained are worth about $5 total.
It was bizarre beyond belief.
The more disturbing issue is that they had a smoke detector, but the battery was not connected... and the smoke detector expired 14 years ago (2003). I did let them know, and I *hope* they take care of it ASAP.

I chose a deluxe cabin here because it was big enough to accommodate my family, and priced reasonably.
I knew it was at a campground; we've spent nights at a local campground in tents. But we were expecting a bit more from the cabin than what we got.
For example, the door to the bathroom was very hard to latch (you had to push hard on the door; it was much easier to pull the door closed from the outside). And the shower was tiny (I'm thin, and still had troubles taking a shower). It also would have been better if there was a picture of the loft (the ladder is quite steep). And you're supposed to keep the door to the bedroom closed when the AC is on (which prevents the bedroom from getting cooled).

was alright but I had a broken set of blinds in my room... plus the front door knob was broken!!!

It's right off I-85 which is convenient, but Google Maps took us through the back roads. We quickly found another way. The cabin we stayed in was in mid-renovation. The linens were new and updated as were the appliances, but the paint, walls, ceiling still need some TLC. One toilet tank leaked on the new engineered floors so I asked the kids not to use it. Only 4 channels were available on the one TV and the Wi-Fi was very weak and barely accessible from only the bathroom. I understand this was a campground cabin, but this wasn't my first stay in one.
The lake access was ok, but the lake was very low the floating dock was sitting on the beach. I asked my outdoorsman kiddo how he liked it. He shrugged and said,"Meh, it's ok, but it just doesn't have the same feel as the others [we stayed in before]."
The visit to Chau Ram Park -about 30-40 minutes away- was totally worth it.

Very nice place, very cute. There were cobwebs in the upstairs loft so i shared a bed with another guest but that was the only issue. Very nice stay.

We liked our little cabin spacious and comfy.

The cabin was amazing! It was clean and stocked with linens and kitchen items. It was our first time ever staying on a campground and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The water in the cabin was nice and hot for showers and the back porch had an incredible atmosphere where we enjoyed an unplugged dinner with the kids! It has a full size fridge and stove, along with a microwave. The bedding and towels were so clean and exceeded my expectations! I suggest bringing hand soap but they do provide you with dish soap paper towels and toilet paper!
