The staff was very friendly and helpful. My room was very clean and the kitchenette was well stocked. The only disadvantage was the lack of an elevator and I was on the 3rd floor. The luggage dumb waiter was helpful though. I would book again.

This place is a little dated and the sheets are rough, however, it truly makes up for being right on the water. Had an ocean view room and saw the sunrise every morning. It was relaxing and walkable to Dewey beach restaurants as well as Rehoboth Beach. We will be back!

The view from our room was excellent for watching the sunrise and beach activity. The hotel is somewhat dated and there is NO ELEVATOR, so definitely a no-go for people with mobility issues. We enjoyed the fact that it is right next to the beach, so we could walk on the beach whenever we wanted. There is no room-cleaning service in the morning. We stayed 2 nights. Not a deal-breaker.

Hotel was decent. Nice to have coffee and fridge with ability to cook food if you wanted to. Towels were small and well worn - only complaint - everything else good. Easy walk to restaurants and bars.

Room was great clean. The room was spacious liked the apartment sized refrigerator and the kitchenette. The bed was comfortable and we had a great view of the ocean from our room.

We have been coming to this place once or twice a year. Comparing to surrounding hotels, interior is in much better shape. Renovated and kept well. Only downside is that bed and pillows are on the lower end. Did not get a good sleep.

Huge room with large refrigerator and small microwave as well as induction stove. Floor to ceiling windows with beautiful view of beach and kitchen table to relax and eat breakfast. This will definitely be our go to in the future. Now the stairs are no joke ( four flights to the top).

This hotel is a bit dated and had no elevator, but the room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was tiny, but the shower stall appeared brand new, and hot water was plentiful. They provided shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in pumps installed in the shower. While there was no balcony, the windows were large and had a good view of the ocean. Front desk staff were pleasant and helpful (I had a need for additional supplies one evening and they were fast to oblige, bringing them to my room). Location was great too! Walking distance of many restaurants & markets.

It was very quiet. This was off season so I am sure that helped. I liked how they stated in their welcome packet that they were very concerned if there was noise. It was nice and close to the beach and places to eat. The staff was friendly and helpful when the AC was not working well and they had it fixed with a free standing unit, and then fixed by HVAC team in less than 24 hr.

The inside of the property is much nicer than the outside would let you believe. The kitchenette is convenient to have, there are huge windows with a beautiful view, the staff was very friendly and kind, and the bathroom beside the pool was very convenient for beach or pool use. The only reason I did rate it a little lower was the floors are dirty as other comments have written, the beds are uncomfortable and the stairs especially the first set is very dangerous. I did fall down them, they are incredibly narrow, steep and lack tread. There is also no elevator so this isn’t a very handicap friendly property. This area is great to visit, quieter than rehoboth but incredibly close to it so you can visit for other activities.

I’m so glad we booked at Surf Club Ocean Front. The hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly. It was great to be steps away from the beach. I would definitely recommend staying there and we can’t wait to get back.

We were delighted with our stay. It was beachfront with the side view of the beach from our room. It was very spacious and clean. We had a first floor room which is still up one flight of stairs. No elevator. We used the dumbwaiter at check in. We did walk to a few restaurants in the area. There was parking available but sometimes not directly at the hotel. We will definitely be back.

The property was great and met all our needs. Refrigerator/freezer, toaster, kurig, microwave, convection stove top and all dishes, pans, utensils available. Nice large screen t.v. and wifi. I was able to connent my roku with no lag. The bed was super comfortable. There is no elevator, so if you have issues climbing stairs, try to get the first floor. There is a dumbwaiter to get bags to your floor. We would stay there again.

I was on the 1st floor and the guest above seemed to stomp when walking and it seemed like each time he/she flushed the toilet I could hear the water running until cycle was completed.
