This is a great place for a one night stay when you're on the way to somewhere else. No frills, but comfortable and very centrally located. If you want a TV in your room and storage space, this is not the place for you, but for affordability, cleanliness, etc., it was a perfect stop along the way.

This is a very minimal hotel. There is no front desk. No restaurant. But it’s a good location and a great price. It’s next to the beautiful opera house. A short walk to the main tourist location.

I would definitely recommend this hotel. It definitely is no-frills, but very clean and pretty close to major sites.

Nice spacious room. We paid extra for a room with a tv and seating area. Clean, comfortable and quiet. The TV didn’t work for picking up channels which we reported. A known problem. Netflix etc worked fine.

One of the cleanest hotels I’ve stayed at. Room was very comfortable. Common areas tidy and clean. A short walk from the train station.

Very quiet (probably the quietest hotel I’ve ever stayed in), good area for the train and bus, comfortable and safe. The bed was very comfortable.
The one complaint is the shower had hair from a previous client in it, so that was kind of gross.

Veldig rent og pent over alt. Litt små rom men funker helt greit for noen netter.

Cool hotel. Would rate the staff higher, but they are all behind the scenes. Everything was electronic! Comfy room, great location. No breakfast included, but there is a restaurant next door, "Okie-Dokie" that partners with them in the morning and you get a nice breakfast for a modest price. We had drinks there the night before as well. Lovely bar.

Walkable distance to major tourist attractions area, train station. Comfortable bed and eco friendly.

This hotel is a little too "budget" compared to others charging similar prices.

Late night party across the street was not appreciated. Another guest that was complaining to staff when we were said it had been an issue for several days. The concept of the property is not a bad one. I wish I had research their self service approach prior to booking.

the room for two was spartan! small space - bed shoved the corner, very limited space for luggage, had to find a person to check-in as they expected electronic check-in. otherwise, location and neighborhood was fine. about 5 blocks from the train station.

Breafast starts atv7:30 AM which is an hour later than most hotels. So i couldn't get breakfast the two mornings I was there because I had to leave my room before 7:30..staff was just ok.

Noone to greet us late at night . Only stayed one night.

Some of the office staff is really nice. It’s ridiculous that you have to pay to get your room cleaned. It’s not that cheap that it has to be this stripped down.

Everything you need for a comfortable stay without any extras. Easy check-in and out, make sure the hotel can text you the code on your phone. They have a laundry roo., but only 1 washer and 1 dryer. They worked well but had high demand

Great budget hotel, I like the concept. I booked a single bed room, basic but for the purpose for short stay.
My only negative is the bed was too small, I’m below average size and I almost fell twice from the bed!!!!
Location is perfect, make sure you have your booking reference to kiosk check in, I didn’t have one as I didn’t receive any email and had to find someone to help.

Rooms are small but comfortable. Location is very convenient for walking or catching a train to another part of Bergen. Very close to the university, with plenty of dining options and coffee shops and grocery stores.

Overal stay was pleasant. Tried to go to the breakfast offered next door, sat there waiting for 10 minutes and it was if no one was working there so walked out and went somewhere else.

As others have said, this is a basic room with a bed, bathroom, desk and chair and not much room for anything else. Having said that, the bed was very comfortable. Be sure to ask the Host for a fan if it gets too warm as there is no A/C and the window didn't open much. Convenient to downtown: across the street from the Grieg Concert Hall and a market, 5 minute walk to the bus station, train station, light rail station, 10-15 minute walk to the fish market. No TV in the room but there is one in the communal area. Free use of a refrigerator and microwave in the communal kitchen area but charges for coffee and tea use. Only drawback was some street noise from people and birds around 11-12 every night.

Two items I wish to be supplied: water glass and tissues. Very inconvenient to not have a water glass for drinking.

This is not a traditional hotel by any means. More like how an astronaut would live during a space flight. But that's the concept, so try it if you want to experience new lodging. The chain is only 11 locations in Scandinavia, so not global yet. Bed was comfortable, towels were white. The bathroom is tiny, utilizing a shower curtain to separate the shower from the sink/toilet. To turn off the water, you have to reach out to the shower to turn off the water faucet, located at the sink. Pretty strange, but it's obvious that the hotel has subdivided space to build the most units possible. TV had poor service, 15--20 second delay to change channels and so frustrating that I gave up. Lots of space in the common areas and lounge though. Breakfast is $20 US extra and fairly good--it's an expensive city. High point is 15 minute walk to Meat Packing District, full of breweries and restaurants and definitely where all the locals, especially youth, go on Friday and Saturday evenings. Overall a unique, non-traditional experience.

Very close to the city.
A bit difficult to get the self check in as we didn't receive the correct code but this was not related to City-box.
Simple cheap accomodation. No TV!!!
