The staff was fantastic. On our second day, we had a person in the room next to us break the rules and smoke pot in his room, which then seeped over into our room. Our room smelled like a skunk had been in there. When I told the person at the front desk, she immediately said she could change our room. No fuss, no muss.

Loved the price and fit our needs of just needing a place to sleep. While the facilities are a little dated and in need of some TLC, everything worked. The continental breakfast was better than expected. The room was pretty warm and we had to sleep with the window open and we had a lot of traffic noise from the road outside

The property is in a convenient location and good value for the price.

I discovered late in the evening that I needed a place to stay in Soldatna The Soldatna Inn was convenient. The staff were helpful. The room was nice with a sofa, a table and chairs and a good bed. The breakfast was good.

It was okay. The place is old and needs updating. We had fans to cool the room somewhat. The towels were old and scratchy. The good thing was the breakfast was sufficient with a variety of cereals bread and bagels. It San was very sweet and greeted guests at breakfast.

Quiet and comfortable and exactly what we needed. Very close to the highway so it was very convenient. I especially liked the fact that they had quiet hours. We appreciated that as well.

At check in informed there is an extra $200 charge per room as a deposit for damage etc. that was never revealed prior. Fine but it should have been disclosed. Switched us to a different property without letting us know prior to arrival. We refused due to there was no restaurant, bar or morning breakfast at the other property and the reviews were not good and I would have not booked it originally. There was no manager on site at 3:30 pm to address concerns other than the night manager and he was sleeping. After speaking to owner they said we will bump others and let you stay at the inn. Rooms are extremely musty, couch has a rip in it, furniture is sticky, bathroom floor was sticky and it appeared that the carpet was not vacuumed as there were small items laying on the floor that a vacuum would pick up. In the other room there was a handprint on the mirror from killing a fly, the smashed fly was still on the mirror. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

I wish there had been an elevator so my grandma didn't have to use the stairs, but the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful in getting her up to our room.

I stayed during a busy time in the city so the noise was to be expected. The room serviced its purpose we were there for a soccer tournament so basically just need a bed and shower. This place had both. The rate I received during busy fishing season and tournaments going on was reasonable.

Great place to stay when fishing in town.

Sadly, we found a dead mouse behind the TV stand. The towels could be bigger. It’s like drying off with a hand towel for the price 245 a night is kind of steep considering that it’s a very very old in about 30 to 40 years old, of course they will use that is the peak time of visit. They reimbursed me for $15 because of the dead mouse. They need to lower the price a little considering that the place is old and the towels are size of hand towels. The beds are kind of uncomfortable and old and need to updating. If you need hot water at least hot water clean your dirty ass was refreshing part of the hotel, after a night of camping out for three or four days.

The room was comfortable. The weather was warm during our stay. Motel supplied fans to cool down the room.

We found Soldotna Inn staff to be very friendly and helpful. The attached restaurant was nice, but overpriced. The rooms are clean. Our bathroom had a crack in the sink countertop and some mold in the sink caulk. Overall, we felt comfortable and the room was spacious. Would definitely stay here again.

Carpet was disgusting and our room had a bad smell. Towels were very thin and stained. Would not stay here again.

This hotel was perfect for what we needed. We were on a fishing trip to Kasilof, close location to our charter group. The hotel is expensive for what you get. it is basic, no A/C (we happened to be in AK for it's week of warm weather) The staff was super friendly and very accommodating.

Was a place to stay and all of Alaska is so Dang expensive and the cost to value is so skewed. We stayed here with a dog and it was fairly quiet but the street noise was very loud and kept window closed.
Room was clean but dated. Shower towels were thin and limited in quantity.
Attached restaurant was fairly good and cost was equal to rest of state.
Good for a shower and a good nights sleep.

The property is outdated with pipes hanging out of the ceiling. A bad step & the floor was loose

Room wasnt clean

This place is just gross. There were visible stains on the carpet that had simply been left to dry, no attempt to clean. The sheets were dingy and no longer white, as well as the sandpaper bath towels. We checked out a day early even though we had already paid, and it was worth it to leave.

Kind of rundown carpet was decades old and dirty

Please inform the owners that they should keep a few rooms that never have pets staying in them. This would be so helpful for people with pet allergies. Thank you.

The staff at checkin and checkout were super nice and professional. The place is older but well cared for and clean. The breakfast is basic and it’s clean and well organized. The location is central for activities in both Soldotna and the city of Kenai a few miles away. Overall great experience and I’d definitely stay there again.

Very loud noise woke me up around 7-8am never stopped they tried to blame it on a delivery truck but it’s there restaurant. Refused to let us check in an hour early and spontaneously put $200 deposit on us after we already paid. Tv didn’t work and rooms are small.

We were there 28 minutes before 3 PM (check in time) and was told it would be an additional $20 to check in that early. We left and when we returned at 3:30 we were told the room would not be ready for another hour., The Staff was very nice, but the manager/owner obviously did not have his priorities straight. We don't have to have luxury towels but theirs were threadbare, step up into room with no railing, no working heat, etc.

The on-site restaurant was amazing!

The staff was very very nice. It was super quiet and they had a little gift shop in the main lobby. The room was spacious. The beds were comfy and had quite a few blankets. The bathroom didn't seem very clean when we first got there. The shower had hair from a previous guest all over the wall. The sink didn't get great water pressure. Overall you get what you pay for and we needed a place to rest our heads for the night.

Will think again before staying here. Room cleanliness was questionable. The sheets did not look or smell clean. There was leftover coffee grounds in the coffee maker. NO hot water for a shower!

Cost effective, everything you need, close to major stores, front desk opens late, two doors for entry, clean, enough toiletries, clean, and most of all FREE BREAKFAST or dinner restaurant in the same building!! AMAZING; a Diamond in the rough…
