Great place, walking distance from the beach, clean, looks newly renovated. Would recommend

The room was nice, clean and decent size. Parking was easy and so was check in procedure
3.0
There was a dirty wash cloth from whoever on top shower curtain. There was dust all over the fan that was provided in our room. Hadn’t been clean in years. There was loud kids outside until late at night screaming extremely loud, same thing happen since early in the morning. The tv in the until was large and amazing, but the cable didn’t work the entire time, good thing my son brought his ps5 console to keep them happy with entertainment. The alarm clock did not work at all. There was no sound. Not even for the radio or alarm to wake us up. There was dirt on half of the blinds. The bath tub jets do not work whatsoever. The check in process was amazing. And the room was spacious.

Internet connection was inconsistent/non-existent and received no response from management when notified (Labor Day weekend). Shower water leaked through door over bathroom floor. Had to lay a couple towels down beforehand to catch the water. Otherwise, it’s a nice place, comfortable bed for a decent price convenient to downtown Seaside and promenade.

This was a good size and location for us, near the beach. It's an open plan with two beds, kitchenette and bath. The only small complaint was we could hear the adjoining neighbor kid running through the wall. It quieted down before we went to bed, so it didn't disrupt our sleep.

Rooms are tiny 10x12 (approximately).
No sound proof on anything, could hear anytime someone was peeing in the bathroom next to our room.
Literal parties in the parking lot. Very loud.
No manager on call to help us with issues.
Door nob was wiggly and varely on the door. Door only halfway shut.
Towel rack fell off the wall the first time i touched it.

We enjoyed our stay. The property was perfect for the three of us. The tv was not working and because there was no staff, it was difficult to deal with.

Positives: interior overall looked clean & recently updated. I could log into streaming services on the t.v. Beds were both comfortable.
Not so great: Exterior seemed run down. Parking spots are very tight. Neighborhood was a few blocks from the main tourist area and the houses were very close to each other. The exterior door & walls seemed pretty thin. My kids did not feel comfortable sleeping in the bed right next to the front door.
Bad: Shower tile grout was black with what seemed like mold. It was not dark grout as parts were white. Nobody wanted to take a shower. No welcome packet & it seemed like management cares more for their other properties as no one is available on site nor do they answer phone or return calls. Emails were answered a day later. Too late if you're only staying one night. We were asked to drive to sister property to register after we already left the property next morning.
The following week I was able to book much nicer, better located room in an updated hotel down the street for less than what I booked for this place. Will just wait to book & avoid this place next time.

The cottage was very comfortable and cozy. Will consider this room for future longer stays.
The only downfall, was the Wi-Fi. It was unavailable for a longer period of time than it was. The TV buffered for so long, that it wasn’t worth trying to watch.

Was a nice stay, especially for the price. Just a lil small, and lots of bugs got in due to no sceen on bathroom window lol.
3.0
The front door handle/lock was very loose and wiggly. The bathroom light/fan could not be used as the sound was so incredibly loud. There was a partially drank bottle of pop left in the fridge.
Overall, not impressed.

In all honesty, I did not like the fact that the motel is located in a sketchy looking residential area. Deceiving name, Beachside Inn, since it's actually a few blocks from the beach. Expensive for what it has to offer. Although it was clean and recently remodeled inside, the nerve of instructing me to do dishes while providing an envelope for a tip was very tacky. Do not recommend if you have other options.

It was a great location and easily walkable. The room was clean and comfortable. Wi-Fi was unstable and the shower door didn't seal so water leaked all over the bathroom during showers.

This place used to be a great place to stay and was one of our favorite places to stay when we visit Seaside, but not after the experience we had recently.
To start with, I was overcharged for my stay. When I booked the room it was one price but when they charged my card it was a different price. I thought it was maybe a hold for something, because that does happen, and it would be adjusted to the correct amount. That was not the case.
Upon arrival, the hotel was filthy and clearly wasn't cleaned before our stay. Floors has layer of dirt caked on, area rugs throughout were full of sand and dirt, dirty dishes in kitchen, absolutely disgusting bathroom with dirt IN the jets of the tub and pink water mold all along the bottom of the shower curtain, bathroom sink didn't drain.
The Internet did not work at all the entire stay, couldn't watch anything on TV and couldn't use my laptop, which I needed to have for work while I was there.
I reached out to the property 3 separate times about the issues and finally received a response on the morning we were leaving. The property manager was extremely rude, argumentative, and unprofessional. They denied any fault, refused any type of compensation for the condition of the hotel, including my request to be moved to a different room, wouldn't provide an email to send the proof I had (pictures and videos).
Overall terrible experience, don't waste your money!

Not ideal of you have children under 7 or whom you may worry may open exterior doors at night. Poor internet quality (no cable in room due to service issue).

The room was cute, clean, and comfortable with a fan.
3.0
Overpriced and in poor shape. No management on site, WiFi didn’t work, power at bedside didn’t work (lamps didn’t light because of that), water from fridge ran all over the dirty floor. Good news is the bed was clean and comfortable and the shower was great.

If you look at my reviews I am a positive review person.
We turned into the parking of the hotel. There were 15-20 people sitting in the parking drive through area. We had to wait for them to move. They looked at us as we were inconveniencing them. Also they were sitting all around the door of our rental #. Just not the welcoming committee I was expecting.
I'm not sure if they were staying there or just camping out in the lot. Not a comfortable situation needless to say. Needless to say we did not stay there.

Cute place and great location. We were within walking distance to the beach, amenities and restaurants. It was comfortable and quiet-just what we wanted!

Close walk to the beach which was nice. Bed was not comfortable and no blackout blinds.

We were pleasantly surprised with this property! From looking at the outside you’d never know how nice the rooms were. We will definitely stay here again!

Check in could be better. The lockbox code wasn’t emailed to me. After calling to get the code, it wouldn’t work as it hadn’t been changed from the previous guest. We then had to wait in the heat for someone to come and unlock it so we could access the room keys. After finally getting into the room we discovered that it didn’t have AC but there was at least a fan.

Typically I prefer to stay at a place right on the ocean, due to no vacancy I happened upon Beachside Inn... Just a block off the beach and a couple blocks from the shops so still very convenient. While the outside of the hotel does not show well, the actual room seems updated. The room seemed clean until you actually look in the corners, etc.... under the kitchen sink where the trash was located was caked with food splatter. The pots/pans have seen better days. I was also disappointed in the lack of onsite service, such as no daily room service, which meant no new clean towels the entire stay... Sure I probably could have called during office hours but that seems annoying. I was also put off by the fact that they leave a tip envelope for the cleaning staff.... I understand this is normal and I typically tip... However if you are not cleaning during my stay, expecting me to wash all the dishes I use and also renting me a room with food splatter, dirty windows, etc... No tip. The kitchenette was nice to have... Only complaint is the food splatter under sink. The price was a bit high for the quality of the place and lack of service. I think I could get an ocean view room at another property with an included breakfast, pool, ice machine, daily housekeeping, etc for the same price or better. Also door to unit does not seem very secure if that is a worry for you... Does not shut air tight, no deadbolt and only a cheap door security latch.

The accommodations were fine. The Inn is a little bit out of the way in a neighborhood, but walkable to the main street restaurants and shops.

The room was cold when we arrived. The water in the bathroom both sink and shower ran cold on the hottest setting, it took 20 minutes for the water to heat up then it went ice cold again after 10 minutes. It was not worth the price or effort to find the place. AVOID beachside inn!!!

Pleasantly surprised of how nice clean and comfortable . Just wish there was a place for me to hang up my clothes but other than that it was perfect

Parking is tight quarters. I think it would be a problem. If the place was sold out the bed super comfortable probably one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in in a motel. The outside looks mediocre but the insides are really nice.

We had a great stay.
- we had just a few spiders
-the air flow wasn’t great.
- stuffy inside no ac just heat
-And no workers to be located when we needed things other then that over all a good experience
Would go back.

Loved the stay was very comfortable and convenient to downtown.

Room was clean, attractive, comfortable, and well stocked in the kitchenette and bathroom. The surrounding area was quiet. I would stay here again.

Overall this was a nice place to stay. Some things that could be noted to fix/improve right off the bat, we stayed in unit 8:
The shower isn’t sealed at the shower door so it will leak onto the floor and there bath mats do not soak up very well. Bathroom sink drains VERY slowly. The jetted tub does not “jet”, power button seemed stuck; also filled very slowly. There’s no area ventilation unless you open the windows or use the heater. Our unit was LITERALLY a studio which was fine for our veer short stay. Included a mini fridge microwave and a little keurig oh and tv.
We were able to check in a couple hours early thank goodness but always call ahead to ask. The unit was VERY VERY clean upon arrival. Bed was comfortable. Although kept hearing knocks on the door throughout the night. Walls are thin, so you will hear your neighbors tv and mumbled conversations.
Apart from everything else, the water pressure was great and water temperature was phenomenal too. Parking is tight, so if you’re driving something bigger than a small SUV street parking will be your friend. Walkable to the beach and downtown area. We would stay here again but in a different unit!

Very cute place. It’s more comfortable for 2 than 4, due to the single restroom. Great customer service. Responsive team. The only thing to look out for was the restroom sink that was backed up and water would not pass as quickly. Overall a great find and easy check in/out process.

Such a cute holiday rental! It was so nice having two bedrooms. The suite had everything we needed and the location was convenient.

This is a cute little motel style room. The room is clean enough. The room was freezing upon arrival. The little heater had a hard time keeping up. The parking is tight. We have a big truck and it was hard to get in a spot where we weren’t sticking out. We like a table in our room-#7 doesn’t have one. But, it does have a good size fridge.

We upgraded from a single to the cottage. The single was great for a short stay. The cottage was beautiful. However, it was not vacuumed. We found cheerios in various places on the living room floor. The dining room table was mot sanitized. And there was an ant problem. I would stay again overall.

This an older property but with some nice, seemly recent renovations. Expect some quirks but beds were newer and comfortable, bathroom fixtures and shower were modern, updated paint and curtains. Overall very cute and comfortable. Neighborhood is older but quiet. Perfect for our taste and style. Checkin was easy with a lockbox for the room key next to the door. Would definitely stay again.
