The accommodations were fantastic and the views were out of this world! Weather was great for our two night stay. The cabin was simple and cozy; had everything we needed for our family of 4.

Great stay in unique accommodation. A little difficult off season to reach the reception that were closed when I arrived. Room was perfect and with a wonderful view. Restaurant in site was lovely although despite only 2 other tables when I was there wait service was invisible and in the kitchen most of the time.

The cabin was cozy, quiet, and had a wonderful view. We also ate at the restaurant where the service and meal was excellent. Only regret was we did not stay longer to do the kayak tour.

Amazing setting in a restored , old fisherman’s cabin. We purchased firewood for the woodstove at the circle k next door. Reine was all I had hoped it would be.

Reine is beautiful! The rorbu was cozy and a good standard. We were very happy with it. Lovely view. Service was very good. Staff were friendly and attentive. The breakfast buffet was delicious. The local walks were gorgeous.

The cottages have an excellent location to the Reinebringen trail. The views are wonderful and cabins have a small kitchen that includes coffee pots and hot water kettle. The breakfast is very good although I thought it should be included in rental as most hotels are in Norway.

Unique experience at Reine overall. We didn't have that much luck with weather but this risk exists when traveling there at April. However service at hotel was very friendly and small setbacks were handled with professional manner for which big complimens to Alicja at hotel reception. This type of things make difference between great and average establishments. Dinner at Gammelbua restaurant was marvellous and tasty experience and service was flexible and kind.
At this hotel you can stay at one of a kind ambience that you'll probably won't elsewhere than at Lofoten. Cottage design and interior is full of island history. At yard you can observe ( and also smell :-) ) traditional skrei drying processes. Very close by Moskenes ferry port if you are arriving with Bodø ferry and start you Lofoten experience from south point of the island group.

The best way to spend a night at Lofoten. Great attention to detail, fisher cabin feel with the comfort of a hotel room. The location is excellent, ferry to Bodø is close and there’s nice hikes close by.

We stayed in cosy and spacious family shack. Got some very helpful hiking tips from friendly receptionist and which also recommended a Kayak trip to beautiful Bunes beach. Dinner at the restaurant was pricey, but decent. Only complaint was breakfast, which had poor bread and not many healthy choices.

First of all the receptionist Paulina and Blasch are very hospitable, kind and helpful. The cabins are clean, warm and great views from the living room and kitchen windows. A unique location because you are surrounded with beautiful mountains and also convenient to grocery and transport. The property restaurant is cozy and had good food. Our guide Jack, for day tour that was arranged by Paulina is excellent. Our whole experienced was outstanding thanks for the whole team. I surely will come back and I highly recommend Reine Rorbuer. Thank you so much !!!Sincerely, Jane

I think it’s the best place to stay in Reine. Views are breathtaking day or night.

The views are the best thing about Reine and the Rorbuer gives fantastic views over the harbor and the fjords. The cabin we stayed in was warm and comfortable. There were towels (no small towels) and sheets and the internet was decent. When we were there, the reception at the hotel closed at 8:30 at night and didnt open until somewhat late in the morning. There are only two restaurants in town and public transport is practically non-existent so youll be stranded if you dont get the number for the local taxi company. The ferries up the fjord dock very near the Reine Rorbuer and the Aqua Lofoten tours leave from very nearby too.

This the classic example of “god is in the details”, a postcard hotel in a marvelous location, with an excellent restaurant, a polite (but a bit anxious) service BUT.... then they give a bed you can’t sleep in: first is not a double bed but two single beds! So you always have a hole between those. Plus every bed as a foam mattress (crikey!) and another small mattress on top so it was like sleeping over a tuna and mayo sandtwich, always slipping right and left, after fighting for two hours I had to physically remove the foam mattresses and sleep on the bed structure with just the small mattress cover....it was a tough night and i had to drive all day on the tough Lofoten roads the next day. In other words a nightmare just because the architects were so cheap not to think of a double bed and a serious memory mattress!

Reine Rorbuer has very gorgeous atmosphere.
Anybody can enjoy the very nice and unique beauty of this property. The food served at its restaurant are very delicious and fish-based dishes are strongly recommended especially.

Our cabin was thoughtfully remodeled and incredibly comfortable. The setting and view was exceptional. The bed was perhaps the most comfortable we have ever slept in. Stunning location right on the waterfront of Reine with Reinebringen in the background. Lot's of hygge in this cabin!

The cabins are located with a very nice view and were equipped very well.

Thanks to the great receptionist Angeliqa.

We were assigned Rorbuer #20, which in my opinion is one of the best due to the excellent views. Rorbuer #20 has 2 bedrooms, each with its ensuite bathroom, and the entire Rorbuer seemed to be newly renovated and was very cozy. It was cold and can be windy in Reine, but the Rorbuer was warm enough for us. The view from this Rorbuer was the highlight, as we got a fantastic view of Reine from the balcony. we also manage to catch the northern lights from the Rorbuer! All in all, this was one of the best accommodation we had for the trip, and we look forward to staying with reine Rorbuer when we visit reine in future.

We love this place so much we stayed here twice! Its the best place to stay if youre taking the ferry to/from Bodø. The first night we stayed we selected the upgraded room and it was sooooo worth it! The suite is huge with two bathrooms and two bedrooms plus a generous living room and small kitchen. The heated floors are the absolute best on a cold day. The view from #33 Artur is just incredible, like nothing youve ever seen. We never ate at Gammelbua, the hotel restaurant, but ate twice at the restaurant next door which is adorable and very reasonably priced. Be sure to try the local Lofoten beers! Reception at Reine Rorbuer is so friendly and accommodating. We asked for extra instant coffee and for our ferry ticket to be printed, they obliged happily. Even our stay in a basic room was awesome! It was so quiet and still tons of space for two people. Note that if you are coming in off-season (October), food options are VERY limited!!! Plan ahead and go to a grocery store when you can as theres no breakfast at Reine Rorbuer or anywhere nearby until 9 or 10am. Overall Id recommend this place to anyone!
