Great place to stay. The hotel property is a great place to kick back and relax. The cheapest rooms are small, the bigger rooms have porches and better views.

I stayed here from August 14-16th 2024. There are pros and cons of my visit. The room was clean and well lit. I love that they had a swimming pool plus we had access to the actual beach. One of my cons is the bed is right under the air conditioner which ended having my eyes being red. I felt there was reasonable enough space in the room for the bed to be at a different angle. They do not serve breakfast and most of the restaurant/eatery around the area do not serve breakfast. I ended up going to Tony's that has a delicatessen. In the past i have stayed at similar establishment as Montauk Soundview and they offered breakfast. Although I came with a teenager son I can only imagine family with smaller children having to find and travel for breakfast. They do not have a 24 hour concierge the person leaves at 9pm which i can understand to an extent but was still nerve racking. They have a number to call after 9pm if there was an emergencies. A coffee machine in the room but no coffee come to find out i had to get it from the office. There is not even an ice machine but the room does have a little refrigerator and stove. I do not know if it was an accident but there was no wash rags when we signed in. I did not make it a big deal since we were there for such a short time. The housekeeper came the second day and we requested it and was giving the wash rags. Overall the visit was good/reasonable.

Loved Soundview. It's in a great location and the views are amazing. My only issue is parking. There were blue cones that were for owners everywhere and at times hard to find a decent spot to park. But, it wasn't too bad. Highly recommend

Only receptionist speaks English. No daily reception as advertised. When we booked our stay, requested ground floor room as there’s no elevators & received email saying “yes” upon arrival at 4:15, then told not available - showed email and 1.5 hrs later got one. This room lost electricity twice for 10-12 hours each time. Room Keurig has no coffee pods. Service for 4 above kitchenette but no pots/pans. Small table with2 stools. We had no chairs, phone, nor clock radio. Pool was beautiful and below it was stairway to sand filled area with bbqs and picnic tables. As Long Island Sound lapped against the bulk heads, had great views.

Super cute room with brand new features including a little kitchenette and nice shower details. Walkable to the ferry and great restaurants. Pool and separate sandy lounging area overlooking the bay was the low key vibe we were searching for to be away from the bustle of dowtown area. Rich & Ben took care of us and we plan on returning. Thank you!

We stayed at the Soundview montauk for Memorial Day weekend and I was so pleasantly surprised by the cuteness of the room, the CLEANLINESS, the kind front office lady who let us store our luggage behind the desk for the day, the ocean views, the simplicity yet effectiveness. Our room was simple but had cute decor and a little kitchen. Really perfect for what we needed. I’ll stay here again this summer 😊

This place was great. Brought in my service dog and had no issues. Room was immaculate and comfortable and the shower was huge which felt incredible coming back to after a long day at the beach. The walls in our suite were unfortunately on the thinner side and we could hear snoring coming from our neighbors room. Luckily everything else about the stay was fantastic, would book again.

This is my 4th stay and my requests are never met. I book as soon as the calendar opens and request to b next to other friends traveling the same weekend. It’s never met. Also for $500 a nite I would think my request should be honored especially booking so early. Called and spoke to a manager 3 times to no avail. There was a waterfront cottage available but the manager would not give it to me Most likely not going to go back next year But the front desk receptionist was excellent

Nice pool with a view. Great girl at check-in handled our comedically delivered request for a room with a better view with returned laughter and attentiveness. Freshly remodeled exteriors look great. What seems to be lacking at this property, however, are the small management details (perhaps because it's the end of the season approaching???), ranging from a complete lack of silverware in the room's kitchenette to the absence of towels in the bathroom to the last three creamers by the Keurig machine during the morning "rush hour" and the disaffected explanation of "Oh, sorry, they're on order."

The swimming pool is heated, the sitting area poolside is nice with high chairs with water view. The studio was nice with fridge, stove and sink and had dishes and utensils. Quiet and clean.

The sheets had holes, no bath mat provided. Two bath towels. One wash cloth and one hand towel provided for 2 people, pool hours not posted or explained. Blinds in bathroom were broken so couldn’t be closed. Some outlets didn’t work. Strong smell of perfume or something in the room but all was Not enough to ruin the stay, but Decent location, clean pool and beach area.

This was a great place to stay because of the proximity to the beach (Sunset Beach), the pool, and all of the amenities in our studio. We were surprised to find a fully stocked kitchen, a full-size fridge, and a deck with table and chairs for our unit. The bed was pretty old and seemed in need of repair, but otherwise the room was fine. No coffee creamer for the free coffee in the lobby was a disappointment. Office desk has limited hours and they didn’t provide much info at check in.

We stayed 2 nights in apartment 8, so hotel policy is they don’t clean the room or change towels. You can do to the desk at 4:30pm if you want towels. The unit didn’t have any extra toilet paper, and no sheets or pillows for the pull-out. We were disappointed in the unit. The bathroom fan didn’t work. The pull out was a couch with a futon like two pillow pull out from the bottom. Wasn’t really a full size bed.

This was by far the worst room I have stayed in. The condition of the room was very poor. Everything was old and about to break. The room was not kept well and was smelly. The room was worst than a 1 star hotel. The towels were washed but smelled. It was a horrible stay for me and my daughter. Staying in the room was depressing due to the poor condition of the room. I would not recommend this place to anyone. We were in a studio apartment.
