Cleanliness is the biggest issue here. Towels are stained, floor is dusty, bedlinen stained, etc. condition of all appliances are old and unhygienic, eg timescale stains in kettle and iron. It appears that the management do not care about the condition and cleanliness of anything. Will not recommend to anyone.

Extremely expensive for a mediocre service

This was a last minute booking during Carnival. It worked out but the bathroom needed a deep cleaning. No wifi in the room!!! You need to goto the lobby for a strong signal. If you need wifi PASS on this place. Or work in the lobby.

I enjoyed my stay and the bed was very comfortable. But I was very disappointed in the Wi-Fi connection. The Wi-Fi connection didn’t connect in my room. They definitely need to invest in a stronger Wi-Fi connection for the whole hotel property.

Overall - 1/10 Bad. Paid $4k for 2 Rooms during Carnival. The good: close to food and the staff is friendly, that's it. The Bad: check-in process was efficient but not the greatest. I liked how they treated me like I was a member of their family - I felt welcomed and safe. At the room, entry door handle is shabby and anyone can access any room with a credit card -- huge red flag. Security is downstairs but he's not always there. They did their best to clean, but that was not enough. Spider cobwebs on the lamps, corners, and inside simple-to-reach places like the draws. Lots of draws and closet space but you can't use them because the wood is dilapidated. Phones and the internet in the rooms do not work. Sheets seemed new, but the comforters had rust stains. Bathroom is a nightmare. The shower curtain rings were super-super rusty, along with the water handles. The shower's hot water would turn cold mid-shower, and the water would not drain. Imagine trying to get clean after Jouvert and waiting for ankle-high water to drain so you can clean your feet. The toilet would not flush, so I had to be creative after each #2 -- flush a total of 3+ times until it all disappeared. Overall the hotel is in a state of disrepair or ruin as a result of age or neglect. I learned they've been closed down for a while but reopened about 9 months before Carnival to prepare for the crowd. This is not a hotel; it's more of a salvaged, outdated rental.

decent location to carnival but they did not have functioning internet facilities severely outdated

THE TOILET LEAKED THE WHOLE 5 DAYS, NEVER REPAIRED! TOWELS WERE BLEACHED-OUT WITH NO FACE-CLOTHS, ONLY BIG & SMALL TOWELS. THE WINDOWS COULD NOT FULLY CLOSE SO BUGS STAYED IN THE BATHROOM WHEN THE LIGHTS CAME ON. ONE NIGHT THE POWER WENT OUT 4X'S, THE LAST TIME BEING THE LONGEST-ABOUT 30MIN. THERE WAS NO STORMS. THE WEATHER WAS 75 DEGREES AT NIGHT. THERE WAS NO MICROWAVE ON THE PROPERTY TO WARM FOOD. IT WAS A HOTEL-NIGHTMARE

I never complain about any of your hotels, but this was the worse really the worse experience I have ever had with Expedia.
I paid $1,240.24 in advance. I did not sleep there one night. It was so terrible. You can check with the hotel and they will confirm you that I didn't sleep there. They probably sold the room again to someone else. I would put pressure on them to pay this back. Again. I'm not a complainer, but if you pay the amount $ 310.06 a night then you expect internet. NO. I had to pay $ 10,00 per day extra for the internet.

Let's start with the ??? U.S./day/person internet charge for spotty internet. ??? TT deposit for a TV remote for a 19 inch, bad reception, 8 channel TV. The towels are old, discolored, and repaired with patches from older towels. No wash cloths (no I'm sorry, housekeeping did give me a cut up piece of towel to use as a wash cloth. Soap the size of a chocolate mint that the classy hotels put on your pillow. Pillows have old foam broken up inside for cushion. No microwave or fridge. Front desk staff will not let you use their microwave. No local phone service from the room. You can't even call the police or an ambulance. But they will let you use the desk phone in the lobby at ??? U.S./minute (quote when I called from my room), nope now it's ??? (50% more) U.S. per minute once I got to the desk. Everything is old and rusted. Sliding the chair on the floor in the room leaves rust stains on the floor. Good luck if your shower knobs work without sticking. Tub so old it can't get clean. Cloth shower curtains hold stains from the past guests. If you know what I paid per night, you would know it's price gouging at it's best (Expedia won't let me put the prices so I put question marks).

We stayed here because it was carnival and there was no other options. It is extremely overpriced for what it was. Basic does not cover it. its run down and unpleasant. You have been warned.

The hotel is during some renovations to the outside, however some of the rooms are still a little dated. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I was there (Feb 8-13 for the Caribbean Festival. It was a cultural experience, I enjoyed my overall visit.

The only positive about the room was the AC. The only positive about the hotel was the niceness of the Manager and front desk staff. The hotel is very run down; old tv with 3 channels; bad shower drainage; old and holed stained towels; very poor WiFi; no restaurant and nowhere close for breakfast; no coffee machine; no ironing board; no safe; old bedding; no hairdryer; no toiletries except soap; dodgy door lock no secondary door chain to the outside although there is a security guard. Its a very basic Hotel that jacked up their room rate to over $300 for carnival. Its not worth more than $50 per night. Not going back ever.
