Very good little hotel. Close to everything

The hotel is well located in the centre of Ushuaia. Rooms are of fair size, amenities could do with updating but were not bad.
Breakfast was ok, we appreciated the daily fresh fruit.

Shower did not function.weak pressure. Staff was fine. Floor in 104 coming apart. Mold on shower walls, caulk and grout. Spiders on the walls.

Perfectly comfortable and clean hotel. All that I needed for a one night stay between travel plans.

No toast for bread. And no fruit for breakfast .

We had a wonderful and restful stay. The Monaco is in the heart of all activity in Ushuaia. Very clean hotel and the service was wonderful. They gave us an amazing rate of exchange for our currency. They were very helpful in arranging local transportation for us for the few times we ventured away from town

We stayed here for 3 nights and we liked the view of the lake from our room. The room is clean and has that minimal vibe. Location is at the end far of the main street but walkable. Breakfast buffet room is big but needs more varieties of foods on the table. Aside from that overall this hotel is good place to stay in Ushuaia.

Basic hotel with simple amenties. Breakfast has very little choice and low quality. It was also impossible to regulate the temperature in the rooms, it was very warm. And the elevators kept on breaking down.

Extremely poor room cleanliness.Bed Lenin & Towels had stains and looked like they have been reused without washing
Bed Lenin was shabbily prepared and hence we requested a room change. We were immediately given another room however we found similar poor quality in that room as well
Breakfast was horrible quality and spread. Only poorly stocked one type of bread and black coffee. It was of no value to having breakfast at the hotel.
I would not recommend this hotel due to the poor quality and poor upkeep.

Reservamos 3 habitaciones.

We had no way of controlling the heat and it was too hot in the room, we had to have our window wide open and door to the hallway open while in room until time to sleep, then just window open, so noisy and light, plus construction started before 8 am and outside open made elevator or construction workers right outside my open window in the morning. Complained 3 times and was told twice they will call maintenance, never saw or heard from them, when we checked out complained again and she said they have no control over the heat. Breakfast only ok.

I prepaid for 2 nights (big mistake) but only stayed one. I came back from dinner to find that someone had rummaged through my room. Housekeeping had already been there earlier, so I asked the front desk if it was hotel staff. The hotel was under construction, so I thought may be they needed in. It wasn't. The hotel had no idea who was in my room and showed no sign of caring. The hotel was under construction and super noisy. The balconies didn't have railings, and there were holes in the walls (even in my room). The beds were very hard, had only a thin stained blanket, and there was no thermostat in the room. I froze. And there was no safe. As for the rest of the hotel, the included breakfast ends at 10am but they apparently stop putting out new food around 9, so your options quickly become dry toast and lunch meat. The concierge never seemed to be at the front desk, didn't speak any English (not an English-speaking country, I know, but the hotel said they spoke it which factored into my booking here), and I watched her be very rude to an elderly woman who had some pretty normal questions. They also say you can stow your luggage there if you're flying/sailing out after checkout. You can, but it will sit unattended in the lobby. They literally just throw it along the wall across from the concierge, which might be okay if the concierge was ever there. As for location, it's just far enough outside of the touristy area to be inconvenient but not far enough to be quiet. Stayed here because they said there was a laundry here. THERE IS NOT A LAUNDRY HERE. It wasn’t a bad hotel it was just annoying that the one reason I decided to stay here was a lie. and the workers I realize couldn’t do much about it but they really didn’t care either.

Room was a little old but they do have newer rooms but I assume a little more expensive. Overall everything was good

Hotel Monaco provided us with a really cheap accommodation. Our room was def overdue for renovation, and we were a little concerned about cleanliness, but otherwise we were very comfortable, the WiFi worked really well and breakfast was good. The stuff at the reception was very useful, friendly and accommodating.

Nice hotel in the Main Street. We arrived upon check in and the reception told us to leave our stuff in the middle of the lobby, was a little bit scared but all went well.

Not a bad hotel located on the main street of Ushuaia, but on the night we stayed, the AC was not working, and it was on an unusually warm day. After a promise from reception desk that it was going to be repaired in a few hours, we instead woke up the next morning to NO ELECTRICITY in the whole hotel, so not only was there no AC, there was also no lights in the room (including the bathroom) nor was the elevator working. We had to drag our luggage on the fifth floor all the way down the stairs at 5am, which was onerous and noisy to say the least. The clerk did her best (including ordering a taxi for us from her personal mobile phone because the hotel's phones weren't working due to the electrical outage) but it was a total nightmare of a stay. Uncomfortable, noisy (from nearby construction as well as a rooster that decided to crow at 3am!), and a place I would avoid if you want a peaceful stay in Ushuaia.

La ventana de la habitación da como a un patio interior que està muy, muy sucio y con poca luz. Tambien hacia mucha calor en la habitación aun teniendo la calefacción a 0°.

I am a seasoned traveler who usually stays in hostels, so I rarely will stress too much about cleanliness. I know it comes down to getting what you pay for, so I don’t have high expectations when I pay a rate that’s on the lower end for the city I’m staying in- but this place was unreal. The bathroom simply hadn’t been cleaned. There were all sorts of hairs on the sink, tub, floor (I mean HUGE clusters of dirt/hair in the corner). The sheets had stains, and I saw what I believe was a flea in the bathroom that jumped in from the carpet- so probably more there that we couldn’t see.
The other big point was that breakfast was not available until 7:30. I usually don’t pay attention to this because I usually won’t eat breakfast where I stay as I prefer to eat out. However, if you are in Ushuaia for a vacation you are most likely going to be going on some sort of tour for at least a day or two. No matter what you do, most tours start at 7- so you have to leave the hotel around 6:45/6:50. No big deal, right? Except there’s nowhere to get breakfast in the city at that time. It was annoying to say the least- especially when we passed multiple other hotels that had breakfast starting at 6:30 (we checked to see if the late breakfast was a normal trend for hotels in this city-nope just this place). I only can assume it is done on purpose to save on costs- especially because there is a big sign at the front desk that states there are absolutely exceptions and you cannot eat early.

Location was great however the cleanliness of the room, in particular the bed sheets was very disappointing. Would not stay there again.

Although the hotel is being refurbished it did not impact on our experience. We were so suprised to see our immaculate and spacious room. The staff were extremely friendly. Nice oranges at breakfast.
