Did not meet our expectations. The sink was blocked. Not sure about overall cleanliness. Nice lady at the front desk, though.

It was very hot in the room the fan wasn’t working and there was no Ac
Couldn’t sleep all night because of the heat
To pay 200$ per night with no AC it’s not very good

We had a room with kitchenette. Frig with separate freezer, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, two burner cooktop and sink. Small back deck overlooking the bay. Could access the beach from the property down steps and a ramp.

Staff did everything to help us get a room as our booking through Expedia did not go through to them. No other rooms available in the area. She was very helpfull, thank you.

We travelled by motorcycle, it was raining and we didnt have any way to go for supper cause we didn't want to go back out in the rain. The couple that owns the place volunteered to drive one of us to pick up supper.so thoughtful. The place is being renovated but it was decent. No AC was the biggest downfall. We would stay there again, the owners made it worthwhile. Hopefully they will install AC

Property was in a good location for travel but a lot of road noise as close to highway

The owner was rude. There is no reminder of extra fee for the pet when booking. Even though, each pet should charge 15$ according the web policy but she charged $20 because she wanted. It was evening so we have no time to find another hotel. The coffee mug is not totally cleaned. There is coffee stained on it. The room doesn't have the microwave. The water goes extremely slow from the sink. The bathroom fan is noizy but very weak. There are only 2 pillows per bed. The room is wet. Overall, it was a horrible stay. Very regret of booking this motel.

Great spot! From the outside, it looks just okay but inside it’s great. The decor has a mid century modern vibe; very clean; spacious; REAL glasses; REAL mugs; coffee maker; fridge; fantastic view of the bay from the room.

Very clean and having a kitchenette really made the stay even more pleasing. We chose to cook most of our meals.

This is an older motel. There is an upper level and a lower level that all have patio doors facing the bay. But, I lower level at the back you park in front of your unit, so you look at your car from your sliding glass doors. There are limited electrical outlets, and only one electrical appliance can be used at one time, or you lose power.
But please don’t let this deter you from this quaint cliff side motel. There is a walkway down the side of the cliff to a private beach, where you can have a little campfire at night or you can walk for a mile along the beach with your fur friend as it is a pet friendly motel. There are several lounge chairs, and seating areas on the cliff’s edge if you’d like to just sit and take in the massive view of the Bay. The staff was helpful when we needed something. I would definitely book here again in the future.

-No air conditioning, no fans in room. We had to go buy our own fan, which is fine by us, but people should be aware that even though you’re right on the beach, it can get quite uncomfortable temperature-wise in summertime.
-Contrary to the information presented here, self-laundry service is NOT available on site; you can, however, go into town for this.
-No one came to clean our room, offer us new coffee or fresh towels, etc. We had to go ask for these things from the desk ourselves, and they were happily given, but there’s no daily in-room tidy-ups. We were told this was because we had a dog with us, but she wasn’t in the room 24/7, so I’m not sure what the official policy is, there. A daily sweep would have been nice.
-Facing the water, we had no windows to leave open, just a sliding door which some people might not feel comfortable with heat + security.
-Private beach is wonderful; steps down to it might be tricky for ppl with mobility issues. There are easier/shorter, less steep stairs just down the road if this is the case.
-Walls are very sound-proof, ceiling is not, so if you have noise sensitivities, be aware.
-Pillows are pretty thin which isn’t so great, but mattresses quite firm, which we liked.
-All of this being said as warnings just so you know what you’re getting into- I could still see us going there again.

Great location, right on the sea with beach access
Ceiling soundproofing is an issue and could be improved. We could hear footsteps and conversations from the people in the unit above us. It was an issue as they woke up at 5AM on both days and were very noisy
