This was our second stay at this hotel and the best advice I can give is don't expect anything at all from the room outside it being a place to sleep. Otherwise you will be majorly disappointed. It lacks in almost everything you'd expect, but is obviously the only choice you have. Everything from the bathrooms to the windows leaking rain to the dusty rooms is so underwhelming it almost seems as if it's by design to get you to be out and about all day, and not there. It's actually pretty sad because Ba Na Hills is a wonder of this world and calls for 5-star Intercontinental-level hotels. This hotel would be average at best if it was in the city, and likely 25% of the price you pay to be amongst the beauty that is Ba Na Hills. The saving grace is the staff is excellent, as if everyone in the hospitality industry in Vietnam.

Context of the review, we are full-time travellers and stayed in everything from Airbnb’s to 5 star hotels. Checkin process down at the cable cars is an absolute nightmare, the staff were very slow and far from welcoming. As some of the other reviews state, if there were other hotels in Ba Na Hills these guys would struggle. The positive service was with the bellboys, they were great. Outside of them everyone else needs some serious training. The property itself definitely feels dated and just not very cared for almost as if they know they are the only hotel so they don’t need to try. The rooms were not bad, reasonable size for a family, but just lacked a nice hotel experience. The fact this is the only hotel in Ba Na Hills it would be hard to recommend, but sadly it’s the option if you want to stay up here. Pros: * it’s the only hotel up here so obviously an excellent location to visit Ba Na Hills. * Very convenient * Direct access to all the food attractions * Room size was not bad for a family of two adults and four kids under six * Bell boys were very helpful Cons: * It’s like they know they are the only hotel in Ba Na Hills so the service is not great and the property itself needs a full facelift as it’s very dated and aged and uncared for * Overall, just need some refresher training * Overall experience being in a hotel like this was just not great * Breakfast looks a lot better than it actually is

Superior Room, 1 King Bed. We reached the first entrance at the bottom of the cable car. This was our first time there so when they sent us up the cable car, we thought the reception area would be close by. We were very wrong and it was quite difficult to find the correct building to check in. There were also some other couple who were lost as well. After searching several buildings, trying to call the main reception area, we finally stumbled upon the correct building. Very bad start. The employees we met were very friendly, but we should have been informed about the process. The room itself is not good for any groups. The toilet has no real privacy. The bed was actually too soft and I woke up with my back and neck stiff and aching. Some rides are free, but some are not. The buffets are ok, but it's kind of ridiculous that soda is not included. We paid 40k for a small can of soda at the buffet. They have complimentary juice available, but you have to pay for water and soda.

My husband and I had to pay $100 AUD for a cable car to get to the Mercure Đà nang French Village Banahill even though we were told this cost was part of the accommodation package . On arrival the receptionist claimed to have no knowledge of such an offer ??? The room was disappointingly small and very basic ,nothing special for the price.in fact it was a 3 star at best the street cleaning trolley noises continued well after 10pm which hampered our sleep. My husband had been very sick and I tried to call recepton many times up to 3 am but no help was offered at all. Unfortunately, this is the only ACCOMMODATION AVAILABLE otherwise I'm sure the rooms would be difficult to fill . Not recommended. However. BANAHILL IS WELL WORTH THE EXPERIENCE.

Ba Na Hills is awesome. The hotel is tired, overly crowded, busy and tired. Just an example. Safe didn't work on arrival. Air con didn't work on arrival. Didn't take crwdor catf details so couldn't charge anything to the room the whole stay. Door wouldnt open on return after dinner and had to call maintenance to remove lock and let us in (seriously broken) had to beg to be given extended checkout by a few hours (supposed to be a gold privilege) no room upgrade but room available. Breakfast finishes at 9.30am and is a total s...fight. What a nightmare. The whole thing needs a reset! Sorry

Amazing hotel. Was upgraded to a suite. Beautiful place. New, clean, and interestingly set up.In middle of everything at Ba Na Hills. Only bad part is getting there. Have to take a cable car to the hotel as it is in the park.

The hotel was wonderful and the staff were really welcoming and hospitality was great. We received the rooms that I reserved and was exactly like the pictures on the website. The food at the hotel restaurant was very good. The property was beautiful and more than we imagined, Spectacular and Exciting. Mecure French Village Bana Hills made our family vacation a fantastic experience and a memorable enjoyable journey of a lifetime. Thank You to all the wonderful staff who made our stay so fun and enjoyable. We will return and we will recommend Mecure to all our family and friends. Thanks again for such a joyous vacation.

The staff here were amazing. I forgot something I needed and it wasn’t available. The front desk clerk June had someone get it in town so I had it the following morning. The property is AMAZING!! Being able to stay after the park closed and no crowds was awesome. One of my best stays on this trip!! So much fun.

It is the only hotel on Ba Na Hills. The room is very beautiful. It is renovated from historical building. The staffs are very polite and helpful. And they always have smile on their faces. The breakfast buffet is amazing. Most important thing for staying in the hotel on Ba Na Hills is that, you will get some private time for visiting the beautiful spots on Ba Na Hills without the crowds.

An amazing place. Vietnam, and Mercure, have built an Instagram playground and look to be continuing to expand this fantasy world on the top of Bana Hills. The cable car itself was a fantastic experience. Once arriving, above the clouds, the hotel staff helped us settle in to our room and orient ourselves. Don’t miss the pool. No supermarket.

So much to love about this hotel. Location is amazing on top of the hills and above the clouds. Insta gramers paradise so many picture opportunities. The pool was nice with no other guests there. Breakfast was amazing. Main reason we stayed was ro get the hands golden bridge photos but there was so much more. The rides we went on were all free. Lots of food choices and very helpful and attentive staff.

It was great to be staying overnight in Ba Na Hills. An evening walk around the French Village is wonderful as the day trippers have gone. It was a bit noisy in the evening as there are people talking loudly with their door opened and in the corridor. Some people were ignoring the signage about respecting other guests.
