It was as advertised. It's not the "Century Plaza Hotel", but if that price who would expect it to be! The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, the remote control television was clear with many channels to choose from, and the manager was friendly and helpful. There are clean, shared bathrooms. The one night that I stayed there I used the bathroom three times, not once did anybody else appear while I was in there.

Very friendly staff, very clean room and bathroom. Super comfortable bed. It feels more like a luxury hostel. My room had a bathroom but they had many different sleeping rooms with shared bathrooms. I loved the photos of the lifeguards of Santa Monica! As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe. Nicely tucked away in a residential neighborhood.

Lovely place - bathrooms looked brand new, beautiful shower tiling and frosted glass doors, room came with a mirror, towels, luggage rack, fridge, and a small vanity with a chair. My room was on the first floor and the window overlooked a small, grassy yard-like space with lots of sunshine and fresh air. Bed was comfy. Shared bathroom for toilets and showers, but my room had a sink in it too which I was pleasantly surprised by. There's a Santa Monica Bus stop half a block down the road, great beach access with a single 15-minute bus ride, always felt safe walking around even as a woman traveling alone. Convenient for people visiting Riot Games Arena, too - it's a half-hour walk or so.

It always helps to look over the entire amenities list, because sometimes you take for granted that a hotel has A/C and a bathroom in the room, this had neither, so it happen to be one of the hottest days of the year, I booked a hotel within 15 min of where I needed to be. I walked in stood in the hallway as the counter host had conversations with someone after 5 min, he waved me in to the office to get my Real Key to the room, and then I find out it has a shared bathroom in the hallway, and got to the room and it had no A/C, window was open to let breeze in but it is street side and you can hear the cars, But hey they had ear plugs on the table to help with the noise. This is all at a cost of $ 120 a night. all others were over $250 to$300, I only need it to sleep to be able to the 700 miles back home. I got there at 3pm and left at 9pm and did not sleep much because of the noise. As I left there were people sitting in their cars that were there when I checked in, so that's a little sketchy. Could not get out of there fast enough.

We did not stay in this hotel. They said they would refund our money. But there was no refund. We did not think that there would be a shared toilet in a place called Hotel. I didn't wear this jacket. Yes, because I have never encountered anything like this before. I am a world traveler but I have never seen shared toilets in hotels. These only happen in hostels and this was not a Hostel.
