The Embassy Suites was the best hotel I’ve stayed in yet. The front desk staff was nice, the lobby was clean and the room was perfect.
When I say perfect, it had all of the amenities we needed. It wasn’t the biggest room, but it was spacious and aesthetically pleasing. The bathroom was spacious as well.
Overall it was a great experience and would definitely stay again.

Such a nice area and this hotel was better than expected. Walkable, quiet, great happy hour, even better breakfast, nice pool area, comfy clean room…what more can you ask for.

The rooms were clean and well equipped. The lobby was stunning and had many different areas for people to congregate. Breakfast was delicious and had a wide variety to choose from. Every staff member we encountered was helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay again.

I have to complaints. The check-in and check-out process was quick, the rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast was plentiful. We enjoyed our stay.

Attended a conference related to work & my family was with me. Enjoyed our stay! Location was great and I would like to commend the hotel for its cleanliness, excellent service and comfort.

Check in at 3pm was delayed because rooms had not been "flipped" yet.
Room is in disrepair due peeling wall paper, cracked shower tiles and very loose shower head.
Beds were comfortable.
Parking is $22/night.....

We attended a concert at Woodlands Pavilion. There was a free shuttle that picked up often in front. As we were told it would stop running after the concert so we walked back. It was about a mile so not bad. We could have taken an Uber back as well. The hotel was clean, room was huge, breakfast was wonderful. The pool was so nice with an amazing view of the lake! The happy hour food was the only thing that was lacking. Drinks were good. The Valet was very friendly and smiled all the time! I would definitely chose this hotel again.

Great hotel with staff that walk the extra mile.

The hotel was nice enough. We had a suite, with a small living room area and a bedroom.
The bad:
1.The bedroom smelled like a boys locker room, which was overwhelming every time we walked into it. I imagine it's the dingy carpet, but even the pillows smelled a bit like B.O. after stitting in that space.
2. The swimming pool was beautiful, but even at the start of September, when you'd have thought the water would still be hot from the summer, it was freezing. Like worried-about-my-kid-getting-sick kind of freezing. I never understand when hotels don't regulate their pool temps.
3. And no spa. Downer.
4. Parking is $22/night. This is not a busy space in The Woodlands, so parking should most definitely be plentiful and free.
The good:
1. We did really like walking around the lake and all of the close restaurants and a Starbucks. That was lovely.
2. The property was pet friendly, although quite pricey at $150 non-refundable pet fee. Ridiculous. I guess this one could easily fit into the bad category, as well.
3. We enjoyed the breakfast, which was free, cooked to order, and served until 11 on the weekends.
4. Proximity to the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion was super close, but not so close that it made getting back to the hotel a bad experience. That was a huge plus!
Would we stay here again? Maybe. But I'd probably look to see if there was anything else available first.

On checking in to the hotel. The staff allotted me a room overlooking the parking lot. My wife protested that she had to have a room with a‘view’. So met with the other person who changed us to a room overlooking the lake. However, just before checking out, the hotel stuck an extra bill of $128.00 through underneath the door. It remains to figure out if the hotel intends to charge the fee to my credit card. Asked why they initially gave me a room overlooking the parking garage when a room wit a ‘view’ was available, the staff explained that it was because I had booked the room with ‘Expedia’. When told about my AARP membership, they simply said it was part of the ‘Expedia’ package. I may need to make my own private plans next time. Trust is important to me. Thank you

My stay was great and the staff was amazing, the only complaint I have is the cleanliness of the pool. While me and my family were swimming in the pool my son came across hair debris and a wag in the swimming pool.

TERRIBLE treatment by the receptionist on the check-in (night shift) and check-out. Rude treatment, refusing to book a room instead of the canceled original booking, refusing to provide a new booking, and at checkout didn't want to provide at end of the stay,

Don't get me wrong, this is a lovely hotel, my issue is the fact that there was a tropical storm (not a hurricane) and we were still charged full price for the room, during the storm we were not allowed access to my room all day until 5pm as we were denied access to the stairs even though we all had flash lights on our phones so it was safe to use. (it wasn't just me, other customers were stuck sitting in the lobby all day too)
We were not able to use the facilities, and there was no power for days; but yet here they are still charging full price. This hotel had at least 2 weeks advance notice knowing that a big storm was coming and did not adequately prepare for it, they ran out of gas for the generator which operated the elevator and lighting, they didn't prepare in advance and go get some extra gas to stock on site incase they ran out like what happened.
We were not offered basic refreshments during this time and considering a hotel of this quality knew a storm was coming they could've prepared better.
I could go on and on about this, but it won't fix the fact that this hotel wasn't adequately prepared for a basic storm and ripped customers off when they should have at least refunded 50%.
