Beautiful, clean and with gorgeous views!! Breakfast was amazing. Front desk staff was courteous. Had parking, for which I was grateful.

It's hard to believe this hotel is only 2 stars. I travelled around the island and higher stars hotels did not provide any better services. Some of them still don't do water refill, keep changing bedding and towels daily unnecessarily etc. Unlike here, with well explained schedules and a water refill station 24/7. The breakfast is easily like in a 3 star hotel, not to mention the fantastic view from the breakfast area. The economy room is spacious and comfortable. I noted many solo traveller women in the hotel like myself.
This hotel is not for a beach holiday, it takes a while to get to the beaches. Choose it if you need city centre and transport links like I did, and enjoy the cafes and restaurants within minutes. There are bus stops nearby with services to the archeological sites or the beaches. Alternatively, walk to these in 20/30min.

Axiothea is a very nice hotel offering a view of Paphos Bay. The employees are very friendly. They are currently celebrating 50 years of service, congratulations! We had a one-week family stay and had no issues. We are a vegan family and were always able to find some options in their ample breakfast buffet. The views and sunsets from the room were spectacular as the hotel is located on a hill. The cleaning staff was very professional and were always willing to assist. There is only one minor issue as there is a fairly small road nearby. We noted some intense noise due to the use of modified cars and motorcycles. However, this is not in any way the fault of the hotel or its employees. It is an education issue. There are many sociopaths in every city (Paphos not being an exception), who like to make noise with their cars or motorcycles. This phenomenon has been studied recently. See for example Schermer's study, which found that the kind of people that leaned toward cars with loud modified exhaust systems leaned male, and that they had high indicators of sadistic and psychopathic behaviors. Other than that I would like to thank Axiothea hotel for providing a nice, clean, and safe place to spend our vacation. I would stay here again and highly recommend it if you are visiting Paphos as the hotel is conveniently located next to restaurants, cafes, and grocery shops.

It’s a 2 star but should be a 3. Circumstances brought me here as I don’t normally do 2 star accommodation but I was pleasantly surprised. Breakfast was limited but apart from that I can’t complain

This is a B&B without a restaurant but an excellent breakfast. Sitting on the edge of a rise overlooking the lower levels of Paphos, one gets superb views of that area and the sea - though distant. A very well kept establishment with a small but very helpful staff. To reach the famous mosaics of Paphos, though, you need to take a taxi or a bus. There are plenty of pleasant restaurants within easy walking distance.

We loved the Axiothea Hotel. It had a superb location in old Paphos which is away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist area but only a 5 minute bus or car ride to reach the promenade. The reception area downstairs where you have breakfast has a breathtaking view over the city with sea views. The rooms have balconies so we had a lovely view from our room too. It’s a family run business and everyone is very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it as a place to stay. Two star rating but Five star service. Brilliant.

Previously when I stayed in Paphos, I always stayed in properties in the Kato Paphos neighborhood. I wasn't sure what to expect from this location, but it turned out to be fantastic. First, there is a public bus that takes you within a few hundred meters of the door. The old town area near the hotel is also being renovated and so there are now a lot of restaurants and bars in the area - including many that cater to younger crowds. The property itself is nice with some nice views if you get the seaside end. The staff was really helpful and very welcoming. Very easy parking if you rent a vehicle. Overall, definitely worth a stay.

Front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful. Gave us a bottle of water the moment we walked in and lent us the proper wall plug adapter. Bed was comfortable. View from balcony was wonderful. Shower has great water pressure and all the hot water we wanted.

There are some positives about the hotel and some negatives. Let's start with positives. Because I had a late flight even if check-in is until 23:00 they waited me and was not a problem upon my email that I will be late. I asked them for taxi when I arrive to be waiting me at airport and they did that too. They cleaned room every day, breakfast was ok nothing special, staff is friendly.
And some negatives. My door had gap so there was light from the hallway all night. Mini bar was really loud when it turned on. In room was hot at night but if I wanted to turn AC then it was blowing into me and I hate when AC is turned in my head. And the last one I left biscuits on the table and then out of electrical socket came swarm of small ants.

This might be a bit far from the beach, but if you want to avoid the resort area, stay at this place. Close to the old town and a very nice view from the room. I wished I could spend more time there.

Excellent value for money. Good breakfast selection. Good base for exploring Paphos - it's not the hotel's fault that there is a lot of roadworks nearby.

From the moment we booked, the hotel communicated with us providing us with all the necessary information, maps, driving directions, etc. We were touched by their helpful nature. The property is centrally located with easy access to some very lovely bars and restaurants. For driving to the property, I suggest you follow the directions provided by the hotel instead of Google Maps. There is a small free parking area for about 8 small cars. It is a family-run venture full of warmth, hospitality, and generosity. The rooms were a tad bit small but comfortable. It was spotlessly clean and adequately equipped. The air conditioning was good. The balcony was big enough for us to sit and sip a drink with a lovely view of the sea. The breakfast was a good homely spread, with lots to choose from, we enjoyed the homemade jams and pickles. The staff was cheerful and always ready to help. We felt at home and the experience was as if we are staying with friends. Thank you to all at Axiothea, until we meet again.

This classic Mediterranean family owned hotel is close to bus service, the old town with restaurants and shops and the central bus station. In a quiet neighborhood with breathtaking views off the balconies and a panoramic glass enclosed dining area where you will start your day with a nice breakfast. Michael, the owner is also a great concierge. He can give recommendations and answer questions from where to get a PCR test to tourist hot spots to what bus to take to get to surrounding towns. Try to get a sea view room. It's worth the extra cost. The rooms are large and comfortable. Everything about this hotel from sparkling cleans rooms to breakfast. I chose this room at random but I'll return by choice

This is a great family-owned hotel, offering a delicious breakfast, included, at a great location in the old town area. The view from the seaside rooms is breath taking! The staff is excellent, the rooms are spotless, and I can't recommend this hotel enough! The hotel is also very reasonably priced.

Although the ratings say it's a 2-star hotel, this place exceeded my expectations. If you there to explore the area, this is the perfect place to stay! Rooms were clean and all the necessities were available. Breakfast was fantastic and Michael was very friendly and helpful from the start.
