I liked the grass area in front of our room for the dog and peacefulness. It was pretty quiet in general.

Pretty decent. I come often and usually have no complaints. But the toilet in my room was very loose. And the pillows probably need to be replaced. I went to Walmart and bought one.

The room lock did not turn. I had to put a chair under the handle. The other guests were noisy (after 12am). It's okay if you're desperate.

The bathroom did not have any protective screen on so we could not open the windows without getting giant bugs in. Very hot in the room, the AC was loud, but not at all able to cool the place and its location was very badly placed. We did not have enough towels and we had no way of contacting the reception to get some more.

the interior had been remodeled fairly recently with modern, quality fixtures and furniture, the bed was comfortable and the sheets were new and very clean. For the cost, it was really nice inside. there is even a small dog run out back. They charged us an extra $20 for the dog which is pretty usual. We had to reset the channels on the Cable TV, someone must have accidently erased them.

We booked a last minute stay at this hotel after a long day at the beach with our infants for the Fourth of July. It was budget friendly and the online photos were convincing it was decent, however I would’ve definitely paid more elsewhere had I known I was going to have the experience I did. We arrived at 11 pm and got up to the room, it was terribly heated, ceiling fan had almost no speed, just walking up the stairs you instantly felt the change from cooler weather to heat. We got inside and the smell was very dirty and cigarette like, blankets were stained and had burn holes, there was no soap inside the bathroom. They had a small AC unit but after trying to wait out 2 hours for the room to cool off we got back on the road and ended up driving home at around 2 am. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place. I did ask front desk at time of returning my keys for some form of refund since we were there for only 2 hours, but was told manager was out of town and that I’d have to take it up with the third party I booked under. Still waiting to hear back and hoping I can be compensated.

Do not book!! Dishonest! Pictures are not true to the property.This place is horrible. Hugs on the walls, dirty bathroom, dirt on the floor. We requested a different room and nothing. We didn't stay and the owner Kim said we would be refunded. Here we are a week later and no refund for 4 nights. Dishonest!

Overall this hotel wasn’t too bad. The room was a decent size, it had a fridge and the area was quiet. However, the bed was so noisy and uncomfortable. The walls in the room a bathroom also looked a bit dirty and had noticeable wear and tear.

The person behind the desk was very nice. My husband is handicapped and we requested a handicapped roll in bathroom. With a bench in the shower. That room was booked. She showed us another room with roll in shower and no bench. I was impressed because she could have said well you have to take this room, but she didn’t. Because she let us see it before we secured it, we ended up staying there. The room was older but had been remodeled. It was fine.

This was the worst motel I’ve ever stayed at. As you walk into the “office” it reeks of the smell of food, garlic and super spicy. The room stunk and had bed covers from the 70s that looked and felt like an old piece of felt and full of cigarette burns. The coffee maker was broken, the shower pressure was a trickle, the tv was mounted totally crooked. The doors n jams, the walls and floor trim were dirty…l can go on n on. We stayed one night and cancelled the second night and took the loss of our money, they refused a refund.

It was surpisingly delightful! The efforts to upgrade the room are appreciated but it shows that they skimped on hiring professionals. It was still very nice. It will not allow me to upload photos so just take my word for it. The room is a great size. The place was very clean.

I was impressed with the condition of the room. I didn't find the bed that comfortable and the room was loud (there's no upper level so on the ground floor you're exposed to all the car and people sounds). Also the dead bolt on my room door didn't lock and there was no way to refuse maid service (no Do Not Disturb signs).

This was the worst hotel we've ever stayed in. The top lock on the door was broken. We had to put the table and chairs under the door to alert us for a possible break in to feel safe. Cigarette burns on the throw. Stains on the sheets. Poorly finished handy work throughout the room and bathroom. Mini fridge with microwave sitting on top, with coffee maker on a tray on top of microwave - all in the closet! Felt like a prison room without the bars.

Bathroom looked like it was just remodeled. The place was fresh paint, clean and the bed comfortable with easy access to center Paso Robles/ Fair Grounds. It isn't the Hilton but for us regular folks it was super nice.
