Room looked like the images but up close the furniture seemed a little less fresh. Beds were good but pillows were not comfy and seemed a little on the cheap side like chunks of foam and too high to be comfortable. Unfortunately there were no other types of pillows in the reception.

A charming small hotel. The rooms are named after 17th century sailing ships and there is a bit of a nautical theme going on. It is 10 minute, level walk to Limhamn where there are plenty of bars and restaurants, but there is very little adjacent to the hotel itself. The staff are all lovely, but they are only there between 7am and 7pm. If you are going to arrive after 7pm it is essential that you let them know so that they can let you have a door code and details of where you room and key are located - as long as you let them know, they will diligently send you a text message on your day of arrival. Similarly, if you are going out with a view to returning after 7pm, you need to check you have the door code.

We, family of 4 plus dog, stayed at this hotel for one night on a Sunday when the restaurant was closed. The exterior of the building hides what is a very quirky and charming interior. Our room (consisting of two adjoining rooms) was spacious and we loved the beds which had individually adjustable mattresses. Slept very well! The surrounding area is very quiet, which made it relaxing, helped by the fact that buses and lots of cars in this part of Sweden are now electric. The harbour is within 2 mins walking distance, and you can take some nice pictures of the bridge from there. The breakfast buffet included some lovely pancakes that could be requested. Unfortunately, our dog was not allowed to join us at breakfast, which meant our family had to eat separately. But overall, we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would certainly recommend it!

Really nice hotel where every stay is unique as all the rooms are dofferent. Easy place to park, nice surroundings to do sports or just to breath fresh air. Very friendly staff.

We were staying over night before an early meeting in Malmö. Overall, the hotel was very nice and within easy driving distance (15 minutes) to the city centre. The atmosphere in the hotel and neighbourhood was relaxing. A small minus for that the rooms lacked air-con and that the hotel restaurant is closed on Sunday evenings.

My husband and I stayed for four days for leisure. The location (Limhamn) is perfect and very safe! It’s next to Baltic Sea, a large clean park and marina. Very cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The staff throughout the hotel were very professional, friendly and extremely helpful. They always greeting and smiling to us. The breakfasts were amazing. The ship theme room was very unique and well equipped with all essentials and nice partial sea view. ICA NARA Supermarket is next to the hotel, and six great restaurants are nearby as well.

a very nice place to stay. Ideal if you bring a car. Very friendly staff. Nice room decoration referring to real ships. Grocerystore around the corner. Close to the seafront and harbour. I'll be happy to come back :-)

quirky hotel in a residential building close to the ocean and harbor. Rooms decorated to match ships and the entire hotel has a nautical feel. The beds are good but not if two people want to lay close, it’s two twin beds pushed together with a thin mattress over, effectively creating a hole that someone constantly falls into. Not very restful. Service was wonderful and the breakfast quite ok (it is corona times which doesn’t allow for a buffe). Beautiful surroundings and great restaurant by the harbor

Havshotellet is a very, very nice quiet hotel with small, but fine rooms, which are tastefully decorated with lovely details. Very kind personnel. Detail: the makers and actors of the sublime Danish-Swedish detective-series 'The Bridge' ('Bron') filmed a scene in this hotel.

I stayed there one night. The receptionist was really nice, showed us several rooms to choose from. Sent us in direction of best restaurant for dinner, when she was asked if we should eat around the corner for dinner, as the hotel only have breakfast restaurant. We had mistaken the time for last serving for breakfast and came 15 minutes too late. But that was not a problem, and the waitress made sure we got an overwhelming breakfast anyway. Living in Copenhagen I will come back for sure for a weekend break another time. Great location to the beach, which is also very nice.

Stayed here before midday flight out of Copenhagen's airport. 30 minute drive with little traffic on a Wednesday morning. The hotel has a nautical theme, comfortable beds and a good breakfast. I did not feel like the value was good. It was one of the more expensive hotels we stayed in on a three week trip and was probably my least favorite. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The front staff was wonderful, they took the time to call local restaurants and activities for us. The rooms were clean, the beds were wonderful (you can adjust the comfort level), and were nicely designed. The history behind the hotel was a nice touch. The free parking was good, right outside of the door. The breakfast in the morning was nice, nothing fancy but convenient. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again. FYI...I did not see an elevator but we didn't have wheeled luggage.
