No one was there when I got to the hotel - so I had to go to another hotel. You need to do a better job of your property listings. AND I better not be charged for this hotel since I did not and could not stay there.

This property is in need of updating and investment. The internet doesn’t work, the refrigerator didn’t work at all, bare exposed wires, difficult locks. It’s so hard to load in and out and it’s spread over two buildings and one has no loading area. They do not have anyone at reception after 4 pm or until 10 am. You are on your own if you have a problem. It’s old and shabby. However, the two young women that work reception are extremely helpful and nice while they are there.

It was an old convent transformed into a beautiful hotel. Our room was huge with a little kitchen however had no utensils, no MW, no plates or coffee etc. it was pricey. Pet deposit we paid was $400 pesos per pet per night. We have 2 cats and we stayed 2 nights Beds were so comfortable. Didn’t have screens in the windows so we had to keep them closed so our cats would not go out. No AC but was comfortable. Not sure if I would stay there again with pets, but would if they were not with me. Had to use our translator on our phone. Owner did not speak any English and my Spanish is extremely limited.

It is difficult to find parking space same as other city in Mexico. But Hotel staff try to find it kindly.
My friend's room was 3rd floor with terrace and good view, and comfortable living room. Comparing with that, my room was worse, no view, out of the bed room window is steep path, no independent living room,,,. if not compare, no problem and reasonable.

It was a traditional hotel. Still had some of the original fixtures that made it very unique.

This is a beautiful hotel located on the town square. They accommodated my 5 dogs and 1 cat as we were traveling to our new home on the Pacific coast. We were charged extra but learned that the lion's share of that money gets donated to a canine rescue. My only complaint was that there was no fan in the room to help to make the room temp more comfortable. That said, we intend to return to Zacatecas for a long weekend with our daughter and son in law and we intend to book the same hotel.

This was a great place for us to stay, and we have done so before. We travel twice a year on this route with our two cats who are more than welcome there A family run hotel with a lot of old Mexico charm right in the center of town with lots of restaurants and things to do. The only issue is parking- but if you are lucky enough to snag a spot out front, you are good to go.

Situated right on the Plaza Alameda, a most charming area of Centro, the location was hard to beat. Yeah, it was noisy at night, but hey, it wasn't the 'burbs! The staff was very friendly and while we had no common language we all made do. Large well-appointed room, very friendly to our dog. Thick brick/stone walls made wifi weak from within the room. Superb coffee in the morning. The owner must love birds, and lots of them.

First off, this is a hotel in Mexico. You should not expect and rate based on a hotel in the US. That being said, the hotel was very comfortable, clean, and the staff was very polite and helpful. The rooms were cleaned everyday with complimentary bottle water left. For parking, they offer street parking outside the hotel with a couple of spots blocked off. We only had an issue once during the day finding parking and the staff was very helpful with finding us a spot a few blocks down. The shower was great with plenty of hot water (just need to turn the hot water knob all the way and add cold water knob as necessary). The doors took a little getting used to from a security and privacy standpoint but the staff was helpful in showing how to close and lock and your bedroom is separated from the main room (can see through keyhole). Overall though it felt very secure and the staff was onsite 24 hours. The rooms can be a little noisy since you are right by the park where people congregate and they have live music on the weekends but this is part of the charm of the city. I would highly recommend especially based on the cost in comparison to hotels in the area.
