We stayed at the Me Dee resort for 4 nights in early January in Lodge D16. The Lodge was mediocre. It was clean and the AC was good. The mini fridge is helpful and the beds were comfy. It lacked storage space and was located next to the road, which can be noisy. The shower was absolutely rubbish (terrible pressure), and the lighting in the Bathroom was poor. We managed to get a look of Lodge next door which annoyingly was much nicer! The staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate and got drinks at the restaurant on a couple of occasions and the food was good, although both food and drink were slightly overpriced. The breakfast provider was disappointing, the only good points being the Coffee and the freshly cooked eggs you can order. It lacked a few other items though. The beach beds / furniture need some investment. Allot of it was dated, and falling apart, which means there’s a high demand for the limited ‘modern’ beds. I think a 3 star review is fair. What you’re paying for is the location, which cannot be beaten - the stretch of beach Me Dee is located on is arguably the best in Koh Kood. That being said, I feel the resort needs some investment here and there, which would improve my rating.

Nice and quiet beach but this is unfortunately only one positive in this resort. We paid 125 USD per night - for this price we received poor breakfasts, bad service during breakfasts. For drinks I´m reccomending next resort on the left side, for lunch and dinner I´m reccomending resort on the right side after big pier. We tried some food also in Medee, but portions were quite small and taste of the food wasn´t good.

The hotel is located in one of the best locations in the island but it's totally overpriced for its amenities during high season. I can see it's a quiet new hotel and management/owner may not have much experience in hospitality and providing good services to guests. The room is clean and neat overall. The bed is big and comfy. But it can be much better for this price. There can be more decorations, one or two paintings will help change the whole amposthere. Bathroom can be more stylish. No hairdryer is provided which they should definitely add. Breakfast is a quiet big issue. The quality is poor. For the price I'm paying, I'd expect a variety of food for my selection. But the choices are very limited. The best thing was the eggs. They need to add more options. And improve the tastes of everything...or I'd prefer set breakfast that I can have something tasty and fresh made if doing a bigger buffet would be an issue for the hotel. The owner and most of the staff need to speak fluenter English. The owner may want to learn more about hospitality. Food at the restaurant is good and barbecue food for dinner is tasty. But it takes a quiet long time for the food to be ready due to lack of enough Human Resources. The managements may want to think well how to improve the hotel better. After all, it is located in one of the best locations and it's new. It just needs more passion from the management to make their pro poetry totally like a resort.

Great hotel its right on the beach and the beach was so clean and nice the rooms were excellent and cheap but the food and drinks at the hotel were pretty expensive and there motorbikes were much more expensive then other places around the island but besides that a great trip!

The beach is amazingly beautiful, however the rest was pitiful, small room, broken bedside light, toilet which stank of sewer, Patio lights not working, and they only give you one keycard which means even the fridge turns off while youre out the room, so no cold water or beer when you get back to your room, aircon took ages to cool the room. staff barely spoke english, I pointed out the broken lights and bad smell in the bathroom, nothing was done about it. breakfast was dismal, eggs on toast was all I ate as there was little else. highly overpriced for what you get. I would seriously not recommend this place unless you dont mind being ripped off.

If you wish to relax and do nothing this is the place! A beautiful spot where you can kick off your shoes and relax completely. Staff are exceptional and will do anything to please! We will be back so don't change anything!

We arrived at the resort on a speed boat - jumped off into the beautiful clear water with our back packs and the hotel was right there, on the very beautiful beach. Paradise! The staff were very helpful and attentive. Good breakfasts and the food in the restaurant was lovely. They catered for me as a vegetarian by kindly adapting the meals. The bungalows/rooms are compact but clean and well kitted out. The only gripe I have is the stray dogs Theyre all hungry and some had obvious wounds/sores which needed urgent medical attention. It would be nice to see the resorts getting together to help these poor animals. As an owner of a dog, I find it quite hard to see. Maybe if enough people suggest it?!? I just hope that the owners dont chase them away due to these types of comments (I.e. out of sight, out of mind) as they need all the scraps of food they can get. Poor little things.

From the first moment I booked my vacation at MeDee resort, I truly happy with my decision. First of all my trip to Koh Kood is in low season so the hotel staff arranged the speed boat so my husband and I can go to the island. Given it was low season, we found out when we arrived that there were only 2 couples in the resort. However, the staff did not treat as an inconvenience and were professional and very attentive. The bungalow was nice and clean. The food at the resort restaurant is delicious. I stayed there for 4 days and I had all my meals at the resort except only one lunch that I went outside for a day trip. MeDee resort also offered scooters for rent for those who are interested in exploring the island. Note that part of the road to the resort was not paved. However, the grounds of the resort itself was beautiful and well kept. Even though there were strong winds and waves during our stay due to a passing storm, MeDee resort kept their beach nice and clean every morning as soon as we woke up.

New resort,clean with comfortable bed, staffs are nice, food is ok but not much variety. We tried candle light dinner on the beach, romance decorations but food is very small portion and expensive. Clean beach, clear water, some reef and fish, good for snorkeling. We didn't rent motorcycle but asked resort to call taxi to khlong chao waterfall, 500b round trip can stay in waterfall for 1hr, not worth go in this season, the waterfall is dry, just a small pool for swim

First the positives: great beach, good if you want to relax, bungalows is nice, good location, chef in the restaurant is good, you can rent motorbike from the hotel, hotel has only been open 3 months. Breakfast ok not more. Negatives: we have been traveling in Asia for more than a month and this place has the worst service of all of the places we been. Just a few examples: First of all only one in the staff talk English and this person will not take any of your orders in the restaurant. Our food came first and then we had so ask again for our drinks. At breakfast on morning we had to wait 15-20 minutes for or order and then it came in wrong. Wifi is working good at times and then it doesn't work at all other times. One in the staff who talked English tried to sell us boat tickets that were more expensive than another company that they also sold (go to the pier and have a look for prices before buying tickets). At check-in we did not get any information about the area, when breakfast was etc. had to go back after we got our room and ask ourselves. Staff don't have that friendly hello and smile that we love to experience when traveling. I would not recommend this hotel until they get more service minded staff and help their staff to know some basic English.
