It was lovely and clean. I could do with somewhere to hang clothes and some to to put makeup and toiletries as you are trying to put makeup and do hair. Also lighting very poor but lovely clean accomodation

Ad misleading to pics, only half a toilet roll no spare toilet roll, only a thin blanket & sheet on bed not extra blanket. Outside table & chairs dirty.

Unfortunately, there were mice/ rats scratching noisily, waking us in the early hours of the morning and continued till we left. Disappointing, as it was a lovely unit and welcome.

The property is centrally located.The front access needs repairs there is a loose power box that needs fixing up on the driveway.There is a spa in the main part of the room that also has the only shower over it. Getting in and out can be dangerous as it is very high without steps in. access is difficult for older patrons.

Kerry the owner contacted us straight away the day of travel, when we arrived was beautiful and clean, what a little oasis in the middle of York, right in the middle of Town just behind the Town Hall, we could walk and enjoy York. We went to the Imperial hotel for a bit to eat great service and great food. We will be staying in the Nosh and Nod again.

room was small but nice big enough for 2 bed was comfy,enjoyed the spa & shower was very good. Kerry the owner was friendly and let us check in 3 hours early. only thing the walls could be thick we could hear was the neighbours were doing definitely value for money

This was our second stay at Nosh & Nod and we must say we will consider it again. My mother and I were spending the night in York for an event the next day. Even though we arrived after 7pm access was easily prearranged by contacting the business. The rooms are tidy, cosy and spacious. The kitchen facilities were good and we had a very peaceful stay.

We stayed in one of four units. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The only problem was a leak in the shower hose that squirted over the glass shower petition and onto all the toiletries. Very casual and simple check in/out. The hotel was in a quiet location in York but in easy walking distance to cafes, hotels and shops.

Initially there was a mix up with the booking details and issues with sorting things out over the phone but everything was worked out in the end. When we met the owner in person we were treated wonderfully with apologies for the mix up, given a late checkout for the trouble, the owner definitely wanted to ensure we felt welcomed and enjoyed our stay, was really appreciated

Rapid self check in by phone after arrival. The rooms have a nice patio with chairs and small tables to sit in front of room. Our room had a nice large bathtub with whirlpool function. York is a lovely place for a family outing.
