It was a nice stay except for the noise with the keys at night and the loud guests. Louder inside than outside.
Other than that, close to everywhere and good price.

I had a single room on the far end of the hotel, because of this the wifi was not great from the room. The connection was ok out by the elevator but best down by the lobby. I didnt mind spending time down in the lobby as the staff was very friendly. I had a non smoking room but it somewhat smelled like smoke, I think someone was smoking out of their window nearby. My room was clean and I had no problems sleeping.

Location was ok, personel was very nice, breakfast was ok (i only missed eggs), very nice people.
If youbare just looking for a place to sleep with a nice shower. This is your place. If you're looking for luxury then it isn't.

I came to this hotel hoping that is quieter than my previous one. I made a BIG mistake. From the beginning I sent an email to ask if they can provide me a quite room otherwise I will cancel the reservation. When I arrived at hotel, I received a room so small that even the backpack had no space so I asked to change the room (I had 2 luggage and one backpack). Well, it's most NOISY, with WORST INTERNET hotel EVER IN MY LIFE (I travel a lot for my work and I had 8 different hotels in Vigo ONLY during my projects ). There is only one person who speaks English which is a liar (manager/director/something). I asked if I can let ONE bag inside hotel for the day I should be out of city without paying the room. He told me "no problem", but when I checkout I should pay the room ONLY BECAUSE I HAD THE BAG. My conclusion - I WILL NEVER EVER CONSIDER as a choice. I don't even want to see the hotel anymore. Just moved at another hotel and I rediscovered what means to have a good sleep without hearing farts, snoring, slamming doors or talkings from another rooms.

Pleasant staff and a clean, though small and basic, room, with breakfast included.
However... DON'T stay up here if you want easy access to Vigo-Guixar station - Vigo has two main rail stations: this hotel is quite close to the other one, Urzaiz, but many (most?) longer-distance trains go to Guixar which is down the hill closer to the water-front. The walk up from Guixar to the hotel is quite lengthy (probably about 25 minutes?), uphill, and I definitely would not recommend what looks from maps (and smartphone/internet planners etc.) to be the most direct route: it takes you through some areas that are to say the least not very salubrious and which even I would avoid after dark. If it is just an overnight between trains, there are equally good and more convenient closer options - even if the staff might not be as welcoming as at the Celta!

The hotel was very disappointing. The room was small, but was arranged to make it feel much smaller. In the hotel description they say they have a desk in every room, but in truth the bed is placed so near the desk that one has to crab-walk between them to get to the other side of the room. There is no way to put a chair there and sit in it. They also say they have black-out curtains, but the drapes are a thin beige that let all the light in. In any case, during summer in Spain, without AC one is inclined to leave the window open, but they all seem to open out facing into other rooms making getting a bit of air a bit awkward. All of the items in the rooms seem to be of the cheapest quality available - the mattress is mostly just springs. Probably a good place to stay if you dont care about much in the room.

We enjoyed our stay at Celta. The staff was very kind and the room clean and silent.

Room was fine, clean and comfortable. Service was good. Front desk staff is very friendly. We ran into some language barriers as our Spanish isn't very good, but everyone was eager to help us. Location was good, everything in walking distance. Only con was that there wasn't a lot of natural light in our room. We only had a small window in the bedroom and a small window in the bathroom, both of which opened into ventilation areas.
