The management at the Knights Inn refused to honour my reservation as well as giving us a refund. So I paid for a room I was never allowed to see, much less stay in for any amount of time. The manager said that I was out of luck and that it was not their problem, then hung up on me!

Staff were very accomodating as we had mistakenly reserved the room for the next day. The efficiency was clean, well prepared and comfortable for a good nights sleep. Thank you

The management was extremely friendly and went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable while waiting for my room to be ready. She also allowed me access to my room while I waited for my transportation to the train. Room was spacious and comfortable. It is located where having a car would be easiest.

Lovely hotel on the edge of town. Check in was easy. Nice and quiet, lots of places to sit and relax outside. We were happy to be able to bring our bicycles inside the room too which is very important to us . The a/c was amazing and we had a great stay. Highly recommend!

They take a deposit on your credit card and refuse to give it back until they decide if the towels are too dirty. We were there helping the elderly and was made to feel we were pigs. We were told the next day our deposit will not be refunded for 48 hours. You don’t have a say if your towels are to dirty stay away obviously the clients are shady

Check in is at 4:00pm and they won't let you in before that, so if you have somewhere you need to be at a certain time keep that in mind before booking here. The rooms are clean and good for an overnight stay

My room was extremely clean and more importantly, the bathtub shines and the grout around it is white, as it should be. I like that there is no carpeting! I would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay. Had to stop for the night because of the weather and the people were very accommodating and friendly. Our room was so nice, clean, and big! The motel is right off the 401 yet so quiet!! We will be back!

The motel was exactly what I thought it would be. Cheap place to stay and a convenient location for my needs. There was cracked tiles inside the entrance door and no place to sit comfortably other than a pull out couch. The bathroom was clean and the fixtures were in good condition. It was a 1 hour drive to my next day location in the GTA.

From the outside this hotel looked a little unkept, but it looks like renovations are being made. The room was sqeeky clean, spacious and had everything you need for a short stay. We had issues with the tv in our room, so we were able to move rooms, with no issues. I would stay here again

The property was very comfortable. For the price it was great. I didn’t like that they made us pay $25 early entry into the room for 2 hours and nobody was even in the room. The maintenance man was excellent

It’s a great old Inn to stay at, the wifi didn’t reach to my room and I had to call no less than a dozen times before someone picked up because they hadn’t returned my damage deposit in over a week

We are grand parents watching our grandson play hockey in Silver Stick tournament in Cobourg. perfect location for access to arenas and 401. The hotel was clean and Erin met us at 4:00 to get us setup and tell us a little bit about the area. The kitchenette was perfect for us.

Very clean and reasonable for the price paid. Staff great and very welcoming and helpful. Back windows weren't locked and latches not functioning properly so were very difficult to lock - I eventually managed it. TV system was complicated to work and there were no in-room instructions so we had to bother the staff. Heater fan was very loud. Wifi didn't work in the morning. But overall, we got what we paid for so no real complaints.

The beds were cozy the room was clean I had no idea the motel was so isolated nothing around usually when I book with Expedia has always been great areas also the room had an strange smell maybe some product they use to clean I will not stay here again I think way over priced and they hold a security deposit they release but takes 6 days for my bank to release the funds back to my account 250 have never had this before

Room was lovely and seemed freshly painted and renovated, much nicer than expected for the price. I booked using my mastercard and the clerk attempted to charge it at 4:30 (half an hour after the earliest check in time) it was declined due to a fraud watch after I made an international transaction. She called and I let her know that this was the case and I would give her an alternate credit card when I arrived at the property in about half an hour. She said she would cancel the booking unless I pulled over right then and provided it to her, when I arrived the property was not super busy. I found her to be very brusque and impatient overall, and every centimeter of the main office is coated in printed off warnings of what is not permitted. When I checked in and paid, the clerk alerted me that the jacuzzi tub water had a yellow colour to it but there was nothing wrong with the water, just the way it is, she was just telling me so she could be up front. I felt that if you were upfront you would let me know before payment and probably during booking, I counted at least 4 printed off signs that said no refunds no exceptions so its not like I could have cancelled at that point. For the record the yellow cast to the water was barely noticeable and not a concern. Overall the property is lovely but I thought the staff was unwelcoming, they probably just need a vacation themselves so they can get rid of some stress and remember how to treat their guests.
