I will definitely return to Canto degli Scali on my next trip to Florence. Marco was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond when I made an error in my reservation date. The property is beautiful. I have stayed in two of the apartments and found them both to be extremely spacious and beautifully appointed. The bedding and linens were so comfortable. I wanted to sleep in each day :-) The location was just perfect, as it is only a block away from all of the shopping and very close to the city center. It was also an ideal location because it was not in the middle of the city, which ensured that it was quiet in the evenings. There is a lovely restaurant directly across from the property where we had many perfect dinners. I could not recommend the property enough!

Great location in the middle of all that you need to do in Florence. Everything is walkable from here. Even the train station. Very clean and a nice full kitchen. Even provided a free shopping tote bag that we used on the rest of our trip through Italy.

Property was beautifully designed and decorated. Daily cleaning without asking the front desk. Property is walkable to all major city sights. Only downfall is there are a lot of stairs and no elevator. The staff assist with bringing luggage to and from room without even asking. Overall and excellent stay!!

Absolutely gorgeous, clean, and comfortable apartment on a quiet,14th century street just blocks from Ponte Vecchia, shopping, and everything you could want to see and experience in Florence. This place is incredible. It’s a walk up apartment, so you need to climb some steps—and it is absolutely worth it. Best place we have ever stayed. Love.

When we first arrived, my daughter said that the property was “mid”. It is a bit old but it adds to the charm of being in a city like Florence. Aside from that it was perfect for us. Beds were comfy, WiFi worked well, the building was secure, and the air conditioning blasted ice cold air, which was nice in the summer. Cleaning staff was in and out quickly and was on top of everything. The owner, Marco was on site everyday and really took care of us. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. “Very Nice” (Borat voice)

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Firenze, and Canto degli Scali was a 10 of 10 for us. Marco was a great communicator and host. The care with which he and his staff prepare is obvious and much appreciated. The unit showed so much artistic character and details all the way down to the scented oils only enhanced the experience. This a perfect little apartment in a central part of the city. It’s quiet, it’s comfortable, and the air conditioning is perfect! Although we didn’t use the little kitchen, it had everything one would need to make small meals. Marco was awesome! He made dinner reservations for us on our anniversary and made sure we enjoyed our stay!

This was truly a home away from home for us. The apartment is spacious, beautifully decorated, close to everything and very comfortable. Marco was super helpful and easy to communicate with. My family and loved our time in Florence. It is now our favorite city in Italy and staying at Canton degli Scali made it all very memorable. We would love to come back.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The apartment was charming, convenient and Alessio was accommodating in every way. We loved the coffee, sparkling and still water provided and the A/C was fantastic in the heat of the summer. The location was great and everything we wanted to see was within walking distance. We definitely recommend Canto degli Scali!

This was the best place we stayed our entire Italy trip. It was spacious, modern, and so comfortable. It was beautiful. The best location in all of Florence. You can walk to everything. It was very nice with a baby and having a fully stocked kitchen with fresh water daily. So nice!! We will recommend to everyone we know.

Very conveniently located, tons of restaurants around. Staff is great. All the extra touches (robes, slippers, maps, restaurant recommendations, extra drinks in the fridge, little teddy bear soap for my toddler, etc.) are awesome. Breakfast included at near by restaurant is great too. Overall best hotel we've stayed at in Italy. There's a carousel 5 mins walk away that my toddler loves also.

We loved our stay! We stayed in the 1 bedroom and it was great. Kitchen had everything needed. The living room has a pullout sofa with a comfortable bed. Bathroom has a nice big rainfall shower. Alessio was great and promptly met us on arrival to give us a tour of the property. The area is in the heart of the city and perfect location one block from the Ponte Vecchio. Highly recommend.

Marco was so helpful and accommodating! The unit is decorated so lovely. The “extra items” were a great addition to our stay! Several selections of coffee, tea, cookies & cocoa! Loved having a robe & bathroom essentials! He even offers local Tuscany wine for sale. Marco is so charming and arranged a cab for door pickup. There’s also three wonderful restaurants downstairs, just steps away from this cozy apartment!!

What an INCREDIBLE stay at the Canto. From the moment we arrived Marco greeted us and showed us to a beautiful and immaculate 2 bedroom luxury apartment for my family of 5 to spend 3 magical days and nights in Florence. The location is exceptional, the units are roomy and clean, and you can be anywhere in the city within a few minutes walk. I cannot recommend this place more. One drawback is there is no lift as it is a historic building but for us that wasn’t a problem. Marco is THE BEST!

We stayed in the Giglio Viola apartment suite and had a wonderful experience. The apartment itself was 2 bedroom 2 bath and honestly prettier than the pictures. Marco was great and all the recommendations he provided and the map were an A . The location is perfect - walkable to everything, Very charming area with every upscale shop you could dream of. We would absolutely return!

It was such a pleasant experience staying at this property. Well equipped, lovely staff and services, and amazing location. My only complaint was that it was a 4th floor walk up- thankfully the owner of the property helped carrying the suitcase up and down. We got bitten by mosquitos a lot while staying here but I think it's the city's problem, not the hotel's. Our room was impeccable and I recommend this place to anyone who is healthy to walk up the stairs.

Amazing location! The place is walkable to everything in Florence. The place is so uniquely and beautifully decorated. The owner is on site and so nice and can arrange anything for your stay. The best part is how large our space was, we felt right at home!

Terrific location, on a very quiet lane but within a ten minute walking radius to the major Firenze attractions. The accommodation is very spacious, with a kitchen, living room, dining area and loft bedroom. All in all a wonderful venue.
