Very nice hotel love the Jacuzzi and pool area great complementary breakfast and dinner and alcohol
4.0
For a ladies trip for 4 going to a walkable concert, this was a nice stay. The building is impressive. The complimentary dinner-snacks and breakfast was a welcome surprise.
The three negatives were that the sofa bed needed to be utilized and its mattress was thin with springs protruding. I actually got bruises from this. And there were no sheets provided for it, just one thin blanket.
We struggled to find a luggage rack, and struggled to get our luggage on a luggage rack with no assistance, with no door attendants, and some of the doors were locked.
The valet service was pricey but good to have, even though the add showed that parking was provided on the premises. Upon leaving and calling the valet, our car was out front, but it was locked and we did not have our keys. When we tried to get back into the hotel to find the valet attendant, we were locked out of the hotel! So there we were checked out with no hotel key, and our car with no way to use it. A phone call had to be made to the valet in order for us to retrieve our keys for our car, while locked out of the hotel and standing in the rain, AND paying for the valet service plus tip.

Great hotel! Clean, beds were comfy and staff were outstanding! I cannot think of a poor thing to say about this establishment. We will stay here again if we come back.

Everything was perfect

Great family visit that included, free snacks, free dinner, free breakfast, and 3 complimentary drinks from the bar per adult 21 and over. I will say for as busy as it was a second person working check-in would have been more ideal as it was an event night during our stay. Additionally the room we were in had a lot of noise throughout the night unsure if it was the sound of pipes or if we were catching the wind on the glass, but my 11-year old struggled to fall asleep. Once we were asleep though all was well.

It was a great building. Staff was friendly. Breakfast and dinner, along with alcoholic beverages were included. There was a charge for parking, but worth it. Fitness center and pool were utilized. No complaints. Just a great stay.

My mom just had surgery and we needed to stay in town another night when she got out. This hotel was exceptional! We had a suite to relax in and they were so accommodating. Every staff member that we encountered was incredibly nice and helpful. Highly recommend!

Amazing hotel.

This was our first time at a Drury. We were pleasantly surprised at the wonderful breakfast (and dinner) provided.

Excellent location in downtown Cleveland. Great reuse of an existing historical building with lots of character. Very spacious. Friendly staff.

All was great, only thing I’d say needs improvement is the bed comfort and bedding quality/softness

If I could give the Drury more stars I would!
I always stay at the Drury when in Downtown Cleveland. They are extremely friendly as well as very well organized. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

Another 4 star rated hotel that doesn't live up to the rating. I've never stayed in an asylum or prison before, but this place is what I imagine it's like. Super cold feel, no color anywhere, and really loud echoey voices all day and night. The parking is, of course, a mess. When I asked where I could park, the woman suggested taking it to the Marriott and using their garage. Much longer story short, I would definitely not stay here again

The hotel is beautiful and centrally located in downtown Cleveland. Rooms were spacious, very clean and affordable. The service at check in was wonderful and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was very good and I believe they do dinner or snacks complimentary too. We will definitely be back when we return to Cleveland.

We had a wonderful time in Cleveland. Staff was wonderful and helpful.

Good size room however ours was on the main floor (so the same floor as reception and dining areas) - we were just along the corridor from the reception area and heard a lot of noise through the night from this area (despite putting a towel along our door as a noise excluder) - the staff really need to realise they have guests just a few steps away and chatting and laughing really do carry along the corridors.
There is no self parking at the hotel but we found a public car park on Rockfeller (the car park opposite the main entrance is permit parking only). So not ideal when you have a lot of luggage, but at least we realised it in advance.
Breakfast was good and busy. Lots of hot options and plenty of staff clearing tables etc.

The staff was wonderful!!! The food was great. We had an amazing girls weekend!!

The staff at the Drury was outstanding! The hotel is in such a cool, old location, right in the center of downtown Cleveland.

Very impressed with the hotel. Looked up the history of the building, so happy the Drury chain prevented its' demolition.
Wish they were in other locations outside the US (being from Canada).

The Cleveland Drury hotel is absolutely stunning. We estimated our room to have 22 ft ceilings. Massive windows let in plenty of natural light and the blackout curtains actually blacked out the room. One of the cleanest hotels we’ve ever stayed in. Beds were super comfy, great linens, AC cooled the room, fridges kept out beer ice cold, happy with supplied toiletries.
Happy hour 3 drinks is greatly appreciated as are the friendly bartenders. The happy hour snacks were sufficient for dinner, so we didn’t have to go offsite after an exhausting day of sightseeing. So we spent that money later at the bar for a couple cocktails and dessert.
The only area of improvement would be the restaurant menu - we figure it’s corporate as it was the same in Cleveland as in Columbus - it’s pre-prepared and/or frozen we had the pizza (which was closer to a flatbread) and wings (from frozen-affects the texture).
Will definitely look for Drury properties for future trips.

Absolutely, the kindest people in service that I’ve seen in a long time! I wish I remembered all of their names! They made our stay so much better than we could’ve imagined! We are also planning another trip to Cleveland just to stay at this hotel lol! The amenities were unbelievable! We were shocked at the drinks and snacks in the evening! Plus free breakfast! Above and beyond!

Fabulous building converted to a very well-located hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Free breakfast and evening meal
with drinks. Close to the lake and the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame. We chose their Pittsburg Hotel for our next stay.

Extremely nice hotel. Excellent employees and service. Highly recommended and will stay here again.

Great location, loved the feel of an older hotel. The complimentary dinner and breakfast was a really nice perk. Would definitely stay again.

Area was loud the evening we were there. Loud racing cars and motorcycles, very few people on the street. Under staffed, but staff there did a great job. Jack was an evening manager. He was excellent and deserving of a pay raise. He did not indicate he was unhappy with any portion of his job. He went beyond the call of duty with his staff.

Great location - close to activities and restaurants downtown. We walked to museums and the Rock and Roll HOF. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend and stay again!

Had to bring a pet due to last minute arrangements. Called hotel which said they were “pet friendly” for a fee of $50 per day. Once we checked in and paid the $50 rate per day we were handed their “pet friendly” policy. It indicated that the pet was not welcome in any shared areas such as dining area or lobby. It indicated that we would need to take the stairs at all times with the pet (our room was 5th floor) in order to respect other guests. We were not allowed to leave the pet in the room at any time unsupervised (even thought our pet was 14lbs and crate trained). This hotel WAS NOT AT ALL pet friendly. Our trip was ruined. My husband and I had to eat the “complimentary” breakfast and evening buffet in shifts in order for one person to stay with the dog in the room. We were not able to enjoy the pool/hot tub area in the evening. I would not recommend this hotel. The room was old and dark. Decor was outdated. Pillows were hard and thin sheet without a blanket on the bed. We will stay at The 9 hotel next time which is truly pet friendly.

It was great! Prime location, they offer free breakfast, and "dinner time" snacks which included hot dogs, nachos, soup, freshly made popcorn, Mac and cheese, and more! They also provide three alcohol beverages per night, from wine to beer! Staff is extremely welcoming, kind and hard working. If I ever come back to Cleveland, I'll be sure to come back to this hotel.

Great building and they definitely offer perks. One side of hotel was noisy at night (buses that had messages coming through a speaker)

Amazing hotel! Beautiful inside and out. Complimentary breakfast and evening snacks/drinks. Very clean. Staff was pleasant. Easy walking downtown, very close to Hall of Fame. Would stay again.

Very nice place. We enjoyed our stay. The manager’s happy hour with food was an unexpected treat.

The hotel was nice; bed was comfortable, room was really clean, and I’m always happy to see a fridge. Weird to me how some hotels done have a feature of a mini fridge. The location was great, too!
3.0
Front Desk was great, room was clean, food was great!! Server at lounge was rude, was harassed and threatened for money close to the hotel. The most annoying and frustrating issue was waiting over 30 minutes for our car and the attendants being rude and not caring or even apologizing for the delay!!
