Very quiet location, it’s my favorite hotel in Abuja, no stress and no chaos of people. Food is nice, nextdoor there is a big pool and restaurant. The staff is very nice.

Staff were amazing, lovely place, safe for foreigners and Julius is a great host at Reception and Thomas is a very reliable driver.

The Nordic Hotel is a great place to stay in Abuja

This hotel is consistent. I have stayed here many times. I enjoy the convenience of the restaurant next door where the food quality is excellent and the atmosphere is pleasant. The hotel staff is great and I enjoy the breakfast buffet.

Good hotel clean and great service
5.0
Very discrete hotel with great low key vibes. Quite contemporary and minimalist in decor.
Loved the art. Very clean room and bed and nice wardrobe. Laundry service was fast. Service of staff was good.
Gym was vast, altho machines were old. Shame it only opened at 7am, would have preferred it to be open earlier.
I liked the hotel and would come back.
Less good:
Shame safe was so low down.
No face tissues in the room/available.
Breakfast was good but a little limited and would be better to have more eating-height tables, rather than coffee tables.
Limited areas for meetings with a group of customers since there’s only really one main mixed foyer area, which serves as a bar, reception and hang out.

It's a boutique hotel. The rooms are not heavily furnished which gives a feel of lot of open space which is very good.
The hotel's breakfast is minimal but it is good though can be further improved.
The Gym accèss to Blu Cabana is always chaotic so need to improve that. The cardio equipments of the gym are ancient. Though, it's a fairly large gym.
There has been an improvement in providing basic amenities which is good otherwise there were no amenities were provided.

Nigeria has many hotels that could learn from Nordic.

The restaurant, “BluCabanna” is on site and a great place to hang out with friends & family. Their menu is very extensive and delicious. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Home away from Home

A generally nice place to stay. The manager is exceptional, he could be better supported with more empathetic front desk staff.

Customer service, staff promptness, friendliness and professionalism

Great hotel, though access to it is a bit rough - the main road going to it has yet to be finished!
Suffers from the usual Nigerian power fluctuations and quite patchy wifi, but the hotel itself is lovely, the food is superb and the service was great. Would happily stay there again.

The restaurant, pool and gym are fantastic. It's officially not part of the hotel, but it's next to it and you have free access to it. The hotel itself is small. My bed sagged, which wasn't very comfortable. Breakfast (which is served in the lobby of the hotel, not in the great restaurant) is very simple with limited options. But it has the basics. Staff is not super friendly, but ok. Wifi worked quite well. The look and feel of the hotel and room is pleasant.

It started off as refreshing alternative to the Sheraton and Hilton Transcorp, but now it’s just more of the same.
On my previous stay, I booked and paid for a suite in advance and they discreetly checked me into a standard room. It took a call to the booking company to cancel for them to make the arrangements to move after the first night.
This time I stayed in a deluxe room and I was cunningly charged twice. Still no sign of a response. They did not ask me to check or sign the bill of incidentals at checkout, it went straight into an envelope.
The room itself was disappointing.
Air conditioning was noisy but worked.
There was no hot water during my stay.
At night the music from the bar at reception kept me awake.
I don’t understand their preference for giving you two single duvets on a king bed. Is it to save money?
They have given up on maintenance. The ornamental clock did not work. Skirting boards were missing from the wall.
The room is advertised as including slippers and robes, but they were not included. The soles of my feet turned grey between the shower and bed. The Hotels.com booking says the room comes with a bottle of wine — it didn’t.
Service at the bar was poor, with monosyllabic staff. One insisted on escorting me back to my room with 3 soft drinks that I could have carried in my hands, let alone my bag.
Check-in was good. Check-out was poor. The glum man at reception took over 10 minutes for a one night stay.

I had a terrible stay.. there’s no variety to the breakfast buffet and I was told I get a bottle wine per stay but i got 1first day and the second day zero and when I asked they argued and never gave me… again false advertisement to get customers and they never fulfill it which is stealing so this will be my last time staying here or ever introducing anyone to this hotel until they change their ways.

Everything was wonderful except the mattress was like sleeping on a board. Staff was friendly and helpful.

A superp choice in Abuja when you want a quiet and peaceful stay in positive surroundings.

Still one of the best places to stay in Abuja, however, I had to beg for the upgrade and wine.

Really lovely hotel in Abuja, so clean and really gives a true Scandinavian feel. Had a bit of WIFI issues in my room.

The quality and variety of the food at the breakfast was horrible.
It took them 40min to bring an omelet and they did a mistake on it.
Very poor choice of food at the buffet.
The TV wasnt working in my room. I reported it twice. It wasnt fixed.
For sure i ll not go there again.
For me it doesnt deserve the 5 stars. It doesnt look like one.

Hotel is comfortable and ok but the customer service is basically zero! Breakfast takes up to 40 mins to arrive which given that it is a very very simple basic menu is not acceptable. Report to management and despite the apologies changes nothing! The hotel.com gold rewards are not honoured (as is common with most hotels but hotels.com do not acknowledge that fact) with upgrades not offered even though they were bookable! Try to contact hotels.com priority line or chat assistance and consistently cut off or sent error message! Waste of time!Frustrating stay as easy to make this hotel a good one but they won’t try to improve so why return.

I felt very safe at the property. The BluCabana restaurant was very convenient and had a variety of dishes. The free breakfast could use some upgrading. But I highly recommend this for those of us who are looking for a quiet, restful environment.

The hotel is in an excellent location and great customer service from all staff they were very helpful and friendly, particularly Caleb on the front desk. Blue Cabana was conveniently located next door which was great for pool access and ordering food when needed.

A very well-run property with extra helpful staff. Very Scandinavian minimalist but quiet and well maintained.

It's how a four-star hotel should be. :) Highly positive for going to become a five-star hotel.
Eko hotel in Lagos used to be a five-star hotel but they do not follow Covid-19 Health protocol. And the price range of the food not only it was not authentic, but also overly priced--Tex Mex cooked by a caucasian? Staffs takes what they found to be convenient when they cleaned my room--My wooden spoon was stolen, my incense holder was stolen... People from the southern states are up to no good. Whereas, Abuja is safe, with less crime rate, and is very friendly. Only hope the drivers can follow the same road standards internationally. There are lanes, one must follow The Driver's manual and Traffic rules, before somebody get hurt. --A constructive reminder.

It was a very comfortable stay. I opted for early check-in at half the room rate and was upgraded due to the lack of room availability. Unfortunately, my room AC was not working, so I struggled with the heat. I was offered another room to sleep in at night after several attempts to fix the AC. I really enjoyed the restaurant close by. Overall, I did enjoy my stay.
