This property is almost on top of Bank St., Beach in Harwichport MA. It was so easy just to walk down to the beach if we wanted. The staff is very very friendly texting us to see if we needed extra towels, etc. Overall, it's a pretty quiet property, the only complaint I have were the pillows. The shams were cushy, but the pillows themselves were flat as a pancake and hard as a rock. A mix of pillows would be nice on the bed. Other than that, I really liked it. My room was very, very clean. Great shower pressure. There is no front desk or any desk service, but they do text you your room and the room lock code before checking in. Very easy check-in.

Good for a one-night stay. The room is entirely occupied by your bed, so you can barely navigate the bed much less do anything else. There is no front desk but they give you pretty Clear Directions of how to get in and out of the room.

We totally enjoyed our stay! It was a one minute walk to the beach and less than a 5 minute walk to town. We went to many of the restaurants and the food was excellent. Great shopping. Quiet, relaxed area. We highly recommend the Kingfisher Inn and look forward to staying again.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Steps from the beach. A short walk into the town. The property was so cute and quaint. Super clean and newly renovated. Location and price for Memorial Day weekend were a plus!

Beautiful area with large beach within 100 yards walking distance. Room was cozy clean and modern. Staff was very helpful when we needed anything. Quieter season worked very well for us.

I rented 3 rooms. In one room that a customer stayed in, the smoke detector went of 3 times during the night. He finally had to disable it. The light outside my window blinked on and off like a strobe light all night. Other lights were doing the same thing.

Got there and the Property Manager (owner?) had booked another couple into our room. He eventually fixed it and put us in another room. New room: 1. A/C was loud (constantly high pitched noise from it) 2. Tenant (or more likely property manager downstairs smoking pot (and cigarettes) late into the night that seeped up through the floor causing our room to fill with pot smoke. 3. Windows have the handles removed so you can't open the windows. (Health and Safety Violation) 4. Texted the PM and got the suggestion to move my family in the middle of the night as a result of the pot smoke. Ya, no thanks, how about you stop smoking indoors where it's illegal to do so? Finally stopped and room cleared but not after our clothes in the closet where the smoke was worst were saturated with pot smell and had to be cleaned. 5. Bed was hard as a rock and lumpy. Literal torture device for anyone that sleeps on their side. Days later, my wife and I are still sore. 6. Was going to stay the final night anyhow, and possibly move to the other room offered, only to get there that night and every window and door on the main floor was open and you could smell the pot smoke and tobacco from the street, and it was even stronger inside. 7. Decided to leave and ask for a refund. The PM thus far has hung up on Expedia when they called and won't communicate. I'm likely going to have to go to Visa to dispute and probably have to file some complaints to the local public health boards.

The hotel was relatively clean but the smell of the mold and old hvac system was dreadful. The carpet in the stairwells needs to be replaced as it was frayed and discusting. There was wood rot and the general condition of the building was poor.

Contactless Check-in and out was welcome and easy. Rooms were smaller than expected and dresser was needing some TLC Pleasant seating areas outside. Outdoor shower was super at the end of our stay before we drove home. So easy to walk into town and to the beach. We would come again.

Seadar is located right by the public beach and walking to town, so makes for an extremely convenient stay at Harwich Port. The room is basic and clean, and the rates are a good deal for the location. We’ve stayed here twice (more often have stayed across the street at a higher price point tho), and there’s usually some things not working - windows broken and won’t open, sink drains won’t open/close - and this visit we had to move mid-stay because they sink drain broke. But everyone is friendly, the rooms are clean and serviceable, and the location is great!

The worst experience. The power went out as we were getting ready for a wedding which was the whole purpose of the trip so we missed the wedding. The stuff was not helpful at all during this panic and asked me if I know how to fix a breaker. On top of it I’ve been charged for a night we weren’t even there for and they said they’d take care of it and still haven’t. Awful and so unprofessional.

Cute inn from the outside. Nice outdoor tables to enjoy the fresh air. Very short walk to beach. Nice lobby with a few places to sit. Rooms were lacking for price. One very tiny trash can in bathroom, none in bedroom. No towel bar in bathroom. Tiny shower, with mildew in ine of our rooms. No tissues. No bathmat left in second room, nor extra toilet paper. Expedia booked 3 nights, but was 2 different rooms!! Staff was not clear or helpful on how/when needed yo switch.

Our room had skylight window without any blinds on it, so our toddler could not napped with sun coming directly on the bed. Instead of breakfast we received gift card for gas station. No WiFi, no room service.

It was very nice. The room are a bit dated but had that beach feeling that I love. Bathroom could be updated no grab bars and bathtub was very slippery. Location was fantastic close the beach and I could see the water from my room!

Best thing is it's practically on the beach, 2 minute walk if that! Queen room was small but clean, everything worked well including the AC, shower pressure, etc... Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice lawn area with tables and chairs. Also a 5 minute walk to the main street area with plenty of shopping and food options. Basically a nice comfortable inn with a fantastic location.
