Stayed with a friend for a couple of nights. Since our room was not ready at check in time, we were proactively upgraded to a better twin room which was awesome. I really like the vibe of the place, with its swimming pool, young and vibrant atmosphere, and many activities, so I would highly recommend both the dorms and the private rooms, as this place provide a haven from bustling Patong beach. The location is really good, 3 minutes walking distance from the beach.

It is a party hotel so if that is what you are looking for it is 5 star. We found that we did not use the pool as it is next to the bar with loud music late into the night and it kept us up as our room was next to the pool. But service was good great people. Just not what I was looking for I was wanting. Relaxed resort feel.

Establishment is the perfect mix of hostel life and people who want their own private rooms, although the private rooms are very small. Pool is wonderful (and open until 10!), and the bar and food are great! Location, location, location. Very close to the beach and Bangla Rd. People from all over stay here. To watch the pool area, you feel like you are watching Club MTV, that American TV show from the 80s where it is always Spring Break. Yet the music is never too loud and the room is pretty quiet. A/C, bedding and shower in the room are lovely, although I hoped for hotter hot water and a refrigerator (as advertised). The vibe and value are great: I would stay here again.

Had an issue with the booking and tried to cancel but they refused and made me jump through hoops anyway. I booked this place as a solo traveler hoping to socialize and meet people since it was advertised as a hostel. Turns out, it's part hostel, part hotel. It's not social at all! The pool is completely inadequate as there are only 2 day beds and 4 or so lounge chairs for the entire property! They have another area with day beds and chairs and such, but it's far from the pool and was occupied by random people and couples. They offer pub crawls and other activities but they are ridiculously overpriced and totally not worth it. The 2 events i saw were all guys and the few young women that were there were interested in only hanging with each other and not even participating in the group activities. For a couple that just needs a place to stray, i guess it's ok.The shared hostel room was nothing special. I would definitely not return to this place with so many other options in the area!

The private room was very small but it was very clean and met my expectations. Service was good. I like that water was given in glass bottles rather than plastic. There was a coffee machine but it needed pods, which wasn’t provided. There’s no closet, and limited space, so be prepared did that. Overall it was a good stay.

The area is nice, but it's just too loud at night. There is quite some music until late coming from the pool area, and a lot of partygoers here. I booked 7 nights, but decided after just 1 night that I will move to another hotel, as unfortunately I was also sick and it was so loud at night I could not sleep. And yes, I lost my 6 nights, they didn't offer any refund or try to find any solution. I would not stay here again to be honest. But: If you are a party-goer and you don't mind noise at night, this might be a great place to stay! And yes, it was clean, and the room was small but okay, basically what you would expect for this category.

Great hostel, kind staff, and comfortable amenities. One thing I'll note is that in the dorm showers, the drains were not cleaned regularly and when hair got cut, the water didn't drain properly.

Loved having the laundry with irons available. Room was quiet despite DJ and everything else going on. I didn’t participate in all of the amenities but I imagine younger people really have a great time here. Room was very clean and bed was excellent. Great pillows and loved the convenience of light switches and outlets at bed. Would definitely stay again.

Cheap and ok up until the last morning. We thought checkout was 2pm. I’m happy to admit my mistake it was actually 12noon BUT the phone call I received at 12:06 was unnecessarily rude. There is no excuse for rudeness and ultimatums and being dictated to over the phone. Go somewhere else!

Close to everything, rooms were just ok, nothing special. The checkin process took forever both times because they’re extremely slow and some do not speak English at front desk as well as they should. Great place for meeting people and they do have lots of activities daily.

As always Lub D Patong never disappoint whenever i stayed over. Stayed on 8th-10th July and Lub D keep improving their room ammenities especially room comfort. Perfect bed matched with fluffy pillows. Lub D will always be my choice of accomodation in Patong as its a perfect location to anywhere in Patong.

This place was amazing. Definitely recommend for solo travelers. They do a lot a activities that help with meeting people. Side note I do not recommend using the travel/tour agents in the building, paid 3500 baht with "discount" ($101 usd) for a phi phi island tour that everyone else paid around 2000 bath ($58usd) and the ones who used tripvisor paid $45 usd. I respect their hustle but I'm looking out for my fellow travelers.

Great location about 10 minute walk to Bangala road. Down the street from Patong beach. Lots of options for eating nearby. Restaurant on patio is quick and easy, but food is only okay. Pool is nice. Definitely a social environment. Room is good enough size. Towels are tiny. Linens in general are not the cleanest. Overall good value for the price. Desk staff is friendly and helpful. Feels very safe.

I had an amazing stay here, property is even better than photos. Would have to be one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in post pandemic. Great location, great staff, a good range of organised activities which as a solo traveller were a great way to meet people. I stayed in a private room - just like a large hotel room but with a friendly party atmosphere to go with it!

The aggressive taxi drivers on the Front of the property ruin your hotel. Come up with a better system. It makes the hotel look bad they seem like beggars and harassers. If you tell them no thank you why do they demand to know where you going after you tell them no? Really got to fix it ruined the hotel experience.

I took the deluxe king suite for 11 nights and it was spectacular.Clean clean clean, room was always done on time to perfection . Property has a pool a restaurant... they could change up the breakfast menu but I would definitely stay there again. Thank you to all the staff at Lub d for making this vacation spectacular

Beautiful place with a really fun atmosphere that far exceeded the cost I paid to stay there. Definitely the most fun place to stay in Patong.
