The property was well maintained and quiet, the staff was really friendly and helpful. The beach was great and was walkable to 4 or 5 restaurants right on beach.

The staff are attentive, friendly, & customer service oriented! The property is beautiful. Well appointed grounds, bar, pool & lounge area. And the rooms are large & well appointed!! 5 star facility & staff! Located directly on Shoal Bay-the most beautiful, quiet, white sand beach I Anguilla!! Several walkable beach restaurants located on the beach & an easy walk from Manoah. Love love love Manoah & all its staff . We Will definitely be back & highly recommend a stay here on beautiful Shoal Bay!

The hotel is lovely, staff is great! The location of the hotel is good if you want to do absolutely nothing as there is nothing close by. Every cab ride we took was 40.00 each way to get to a restaurant or larger hotels. If you stay there look into renting a car. The cab costs will kill you! Food surrounding hotel was typical beach food, nothing great. The complimentary Continental Breakfast at the hotel was lovely and the wait staff was wonderful!

We love coming to Anguilla and have stayed at multiple resorts within a wide price range around the island. Manoah is at the very bottom of our list, mostly because of the poor customer service. The location is wonderful: You are on a gorgeous Shoal beach, and The Manoah Hotel itself is a beautiful property. Unfortunately, these breathtaking surroundings are overshadowed by numerous issues of The Manoah experience:
Maintenance, security, and cleanliness concerns: broken front door, broken balcony door with a huge open gap, hair in the bathroom, dirty floors, wrong bed configuration, and the list goes on. Some issues were addressed eventually, resulting in a lengthy check-in process that ate up our first day. Other concerns the hotel simply denied. Emails to the main address (listed online) went unanswered due to "technical outages". Expedia did send a note a month ago about technical outages with two emails to contact the property but no mention that the email had changed. Some issues like the broken door never got fixed, and small issues like empty soap bottles we simply gave up on and never reported. The hotel did eventually respond offering a small compensation for a fraction of our first-day cost.
Poor Internet connectivity. There are multiple wifi options but none of them were stable anywhere. The signal is weak to do anything but occasionally check your email.
In summary, there are well-managed hotels in the area, just not The Manoah. Enjoy beautiful Anguilla!

Location! We didn't get to ALL the beaches on the island, but from the several we did visit, this was by far the best beach. We stayed in unit 302 - so spacious and right on the beach. We kept our doors open all night and listened to the ocean. The entire staff was excellent.
Continental breakfast was O.K. but worked for us.
The only negative is that we did not have hot water the first day (but they fixed it quickly) and the mattress in the room was awful.

Beautiful property in a great location. Will be back!

The only reason that I gave it four stars versus five stars is there was one bartender that was not friendly at all almost rude, She made us feel very unwelcome. Each time my daughter ordered a drink, she said “it will a while” because she was busy when there was no one else waiting for drinks, The last straw was when we sat at a table for four, because we wanted to sit closest to the ocean, and she was put out because she had to remove the other place settings.. We ended up walking over to the restaurant next-door for dinner because we just didn’t wanna deal with the attitude.

Beautiful island property needs repairs but couldn’t ask for a better view rooms are huge and everything you need inside. The breakfast is included but lacking no options all carbs not impressed.

I hate to give such an amazing review because then everyone will want to go here! We absolutely loved everything about this place! The staff was so kind and helpful, it was super clean, the views were great, the beaches were beautiful. All of it!! Highly recommend!

This hotel is on the best beach ever. It's the best location if you want to enjoy the sand and water. Pristine water, soft sand, a true paradise.
We stayed in the "Liz" building closer to the beach. The room was GIANT. We were very impressed with the comically high ceilings and ultra comfy bed. There were fans all over (even on the huge balcony) which was also a helpful, classy touch. Air conditioning was great and not super loud.
The restaurant on site and the neighbouring restaurant were a bit expensive for pub fare, but the Manoah makes a good pizza and excellent ribs, so there are some budget options as well. Going off site to other shoal bay restaurants within a quick walk will still have the same service fees tacked on that you find at the hotel. The only other "heads up" is that the room water (as many others noted) doesn't get *that* hot, but it's not a cold shower, albeit not as hot as we're used to at home. Manageable. The room also had some white noise with the waves crashing on the beach right outside the room, plus the fans and AC, and occasional rain sounds on the roof; but if you sleep well with some white noise like we do, it will be absolutely comfortable (other than the "is it raining? It seems louder than a minute ago?" Questions I found myself asking my husband (yes, it was raining).
I'd return in a heartbeat and would encourage anyone looking for a relaxing spot in a beautiful hotel on the perfect beach to do the same.

The property is amazing but not the service .the room was never well cleaned, the shower was broken …… it could be the best place to stay in Anguilla , but they have to improve the service
2.0
The room was dirty (sand in the bed) when checked in, we had to ask for the cleaner. Unacceptable. Safe was not in the room, we had to ask two times to have it placed in our room and working! Part of the windows not working. Tv not working. Quality of bed lined and towels poor. Breakfast and meals very low quality. I would not recommend to stay in this hotel.
Please note: they sell as "ocean view rooms" ground floor rooms with no sea view, and we were place in one of those dark rooms - I would suggest to management to sell the ground floor rooms as just "rooms", not writing ocen view in those cases, it is not correct toward the guests. Also I would recommend management to check the rooms cleanininess and its equipment (safe, windows, tv) before welcoming the guests.

The service was very poor.

This property is extremely poorly managed.
The rooms in the Deanna building are poorly kitted out. Our bed was rock hard. The bedding was flimsy. We found out from staff that this situation happens frequently.
Rather than buying new mattresses, management makes the housekeeping staff solve the problem.
We did switch rooms.
The manager never appeared to apologize.
Front desk employee were rude.

This hotel is beautiful and the grounds are breathtaking. We arrived from St Martin on the ferry and rented a car (delivered to hotel). Our room was spacious and had a spectacular view of the water. The pool felt luxurious and had a few shallow parts for our toddler to enjoy.
Breakfast was served at the beach front restaurant and had a small but decent selection of items. Service was fantastic and Lamare at the pool was especially kind to our toddler daughter, finding her pool floaties and toys on each occasion. We had an issue with the bill at checkout that was promptly handled by the management in a manner that lived up to the wonderful service we had received to that point.
You do need a car if you would like to explore the island. We dined at Ben’s Pit Stop two nights in a row since it was so good. Anguilla is a place to escape to if you enjoy quiet, secluded beach time.

we loved the location and the size of the rooms. The beach location was perfect, and the staff were so friendly.
we did not care for the mattress - very hard and uncomfortable. Breakfast was very good and quick but dinner was very slow although the food was excellent.

Location is beautiful and so are the employees. It does need updating. It really could be an ultimate spot.

if anyone says anything is not perfect at your property, tell them to go somewhere else. Your staff is outstanding, your grounds are immaculate, the rooms are perfect, your beach is one of the best in the world (I've been to Bora Bora, st marteen, st john, the inner & outer Bahamas, Bermuda, Nevis, Grenada, Bequia & the Grenadines, Aruba, Turks & Caicos, St Thomas, all the BVI's, including Anegada which has great beaches, St Croix, Dominican Replublic, St Kitts, Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Puerto Rico, the keys, St Lucia, Barbados, and the east & west side of Mexico including Cabo San Lucas. All of them were for a week or more (I've never been on a cruise), so I think I qualify as someone who can rate beaches, hotels & staff. Your staff truly understands what it means to be in the service & hospitality industry - they are quick to accommodate!!! And this refers to everyone I met from the front desk to the beach bar!!!!
What you really care about ..... yes, I would HIGHLY recommend your property & your island (this is my 2nd visit, last time was in 1997 - we stayed at the Turquoise Reef, which might be the Cuisinart now). It took us a long time to return, but we wanted to visit every island before deciding which one to revisit. We will be back soon!! Your island hasn't changed much in 20 years (especially the East End), please keep it that way!!! DON'T SELL OUT!!

There were not a lot of options for food or night life but we were totally ok with it.
