Lovely hotel!!!

We stayed here after getting married and it was a fantastic experience! As soon as the staff knew they made our stay feel very special and we were incredibly well looked after and even gave us some extra treats too!
An incredible place to stay with just the most wonderful staff - thank you everyone for making our day really special.

This resort is amazing. The staff are all superb. Very comfortable pool area with an easy access to the beach is, fantastic.

Check in staff asked about my name. Telling me my name is spelled like a man. Beach staff had 4 guys just sitting there doing nothing. But unwilling to help us get settled in beach chairs. Saw them helping other people though. That was so nice of them. Overall not too impressed with this visit to Zota.

Spacious room, perfect walk onto the beach, friendly valet.

I like the closest to the beach

The staff at Zota, the front desk, valet, bartenders housekeeping staff are all excellent, friendly so helpful!

We have been going to Zota since 2019. The service has changed a lot . The staff is not friendly like they used to. There was construction going on next door! And it wasn’t mention when I made the reservation. Felt we were treated differently than other guests! For example when I went for breakfast I was sat away from everyone else in the corner where the fan wasn’t even working. When there was other tables available.

This was our second stay at this hotel, and it was amazing! The atmosphere is perfect for relaxation, which is exactly what we were looking for. While it would be nice to have a few more amenities for kids, everything else was wonderful. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the restaurant offers great food. We can't wait to return!

This hotel was clean. The balcony looked over the pool and you could see some ocean view too. The rooms were a little outdated but functional. The location was perfect. Beachfront and chairs and towels were provided. Umbrellas were available for a fee.
We have a great time at Zota. The only issue that could be improved on was the size of the bathroom.
There is a grocery store (Publix) close by. Shopping and food at St. Amanda was about a 15 min. Drive.

Property was clean, dining wasn’t that good and staff at dinning weren’t friendly, food took forever. Not much to do besides pool and beach. At 9 pm everything is close and there’s nothing else to do than going to sleep . Hotel should have even at the pool or music or movies night or something. Only valet parking, staff hit my car mirror.

Great

Great resort, fantastic stretch of beach, and good food for the onsite eating. All in all, pretty perfect couple of days. We did have the AC go out in the room, but maintenance got it taken care of quickly and effectively (Way to go TJ!)

Love this place... but they need a refresh!! It is showing its age. Loose 1 star for AC problems and loose 1 star for old tower that needs a refresh.

Great resort for a mini paradise stay. Friendly, courteous staff, good food, wonderful experience. Rooms are a bit small but comfy. Great beach - love it!! We’ll definitely vacation there again!!

My daughters and I stayed here for 3 nights while we were in town for a regatta in Sarasota late May. Initially I was pretty annoyed bc I booked through Expedia which means the hotel gave us a ground floor room facing the parking. I know this is to be expected when booking through Expedia but I would never have found this hotel had it not been for Expedia. It ended up being fine because we were close to this exit door and had easy access to walking directly out to the beach or pool. The service at the pool was great. The valet was great. The pool restaurant closes a little too early in my opinion. Another thing to know - the hotel charges you a resort fee which includes two chairs. Not an umbrella. If you want an umbrella to go with those chairs they charge you $35. I was charged this at 3pm on our day of arrival when we just wanted to sit on the beach for a little bit. They start collecting the chairs at 5pm. Chair and umbrella quality and beach service were lacking for the quality of this resort.

All employees were attentive and very kind.

Great hotel…. Wonderful people…. Awesome amenities!!

Hotels.com listed a price to the hotel but neglected to say there were resort fees and other fees that made this stay very unaffordable. The resort is very nice but Hotels.com misrepresented the price and cost of the stay.

The hotel was clean, amenities were nice and most of the staff were very friendly. A few things we had issue with were the mandatory valet. Maybe I missed this in the property details but we would prefer to self park especially in a place where you cannot walk to anything. if you’re looking for a place where you can walk to dining and shopping this is not the place for you. The area is beautiful but the beaches and resorts are totally separate. You need transportation to get around. We ate breakfast at the resort once and it was very good. Our other meals were off site. Another thing we had issue with was the ongoing renovations. We had to walk around furniture in the halls and wet paint. We were confused as to why we would have a room in the middle of all that. The guys who manned the beach chair rentals were awesome, and the valet staff attentive despite us not wanting to valet. Overall a nice place but just a weird vibe.

Property was a lot nicer in person than it was online. Definitely a good choice if you’re in the area.

Check in was a bit bumpy because there was a line, and they gave me a room that was in the old building. But they were able to rectify it and gave me a room in the new building. The overall customer service was great. It was clean, there is a big pool and seconds walk to the beach. The cabana was sold out so we had to rush out early the next day to buy one. Overall, an amazing stay and I would do it again!

Everything was Amazing. Visiting next year again !

The thing I didnt like is that valet parking is a MUST. Also the restaurant viento kitchen could have been better and the menu doesn’t have as many options.

From start to finish, perfect. We are picky and I could not find one thing to complain about. The only disappointment was leaving.

Our 3rd time staying here. Love the location, which is out of the way from the big crowds. The ocean is only steps away from the pool. We especially enjoy the pool bar drinks - and the staff are amazing. Will be back soon for visit number 4.

Room was nice. Bathroom had a chip in the wall which looked gross. The food at the pool was labeled Gluteb free, but I did get sick from the fries. I don’t think they handled the cross contamination well. Other than that everything was ok.

Like it here very much and this is our second stay…Pool is lovely beach nice as well ,though believe the umbrella chair set up should be included in resort fee charged daily. Staff is very helpful and pleasant and food was quite good! Come and stay

Beautiful spot

I loved everything about our stay except for one little thing. Even though we were guests from the hotel we still had to pay to rent beach chairs. I feel like that should be part of your “resort fees” so guests of the hotel have to pay to use the hotel chairs beachfront. Everything else was great. The rooms were spacious and clean. I loved the complimentary water and the in room coffee was great. The staff at the pool bar was great. Even though it was busy they did a fantastic job serving people. I will definitely come back.
