Property stunk of cigarettes, the first room I was put in smelled so badly of cigarettes it made my eyes water. The brick outside of the pool on the exterior had been painted and now the brick is spalling badly and there's algae growth apparent on the white exterior. Despite the language of the website sounding like docking is included it costs a whopping $5/ft/day on rotted docks with leaky water spigots and sketchy shore power connections. The municipal owned launch adjacent the hotel (on their property) is so poorly maintained i was unable to launch my boat there. Inexperienced and rude boaters have power loaded so much there is an insurmountable mound of rock and debris just past the ramp that you cannot see from the ramp (it can be seen from the dock). The staff is the only saving grace this facility has going for it and the owners of this place clearly don't value them at all because the place is an outdated, neglected, unsafe dump. The fact that I was charged more than $100/night for a stay at such an unkempt piece of real estate is highway robbery. Stay elsewhere, the Riveredge Resort is definitely no longer what it once lay have been.

Room needed many improvements. Rug was very badly stained, mirror was stained, sink had a slow drain and one morning bathtub/shower drain started gurgling and then soap bubbles came out of it - and no one had used it so backing up from somewhere else. Ok public areas but room not so much.

Hotel location is great with views of Boldt Castle. The hotel is old and in desperate need of an upgrade. Carpets in rooms are stained and uneven. Balconies are very dirty with bugs and webs. Very old furniture. Showing its age. Breakfast buffet was unimpressive. Wait staff did great job.

My kid and I were there for wrestling tournament and the place was very nice. Love the tiki bar outside looking in to the water and boats. Drinks and food where great. We got in early check in early which was perfect.

Not sure that reserving through Expedia gives us options for better rooms in Hotels. Twice now, recently, hotels we stayed at through Expedia had better rooms available (views, amenities and similar price) when reserved directly through the hotels.

We had a lovely stay. The food for breakfast and dinner was tasty. The room was clean and tidy. Great views of the river. Very quiet after 930. It is time for the total to replace their mattresses.

Weather was perfect and so does the stay at Riveredge Resort, along with granddaughter. We are pleased with the experience from check-in to the Check-out. After a day of sightseeing, we returned to find music at the Tiki Bar outside. Our granddaughter went for dip in the pool and then we ordered food from the River Watch style tavern. We ordered the fired calamari as appetizer and the smashed burger and Fish and chips as entrees. Both courses were cook to perfection. The service at the River Watch couldn’t not been better. The view from the room was spectacular, even in the morning when we had a look from our balcony. Then we headed for buffet style breakfast at the Windows on the Bay restaurant. The food and the service were excellent. We are already talking about making reservations for next year summer.

We have been coming to River Edge over the past few years and they keep the facility up to date. Also, their location has great views such as being across of Boldt Castle and their staff are always friendly and accomodating. Food is excellent at their Kiki bar and orher two restaurants. Outdoor seating is available and they have a lounge and Windows Restaurant. Every time we have been at this facility, barges are always passing by.

Alot of money for a very dated hotel. Beautiful view from the balcony but unable to enjoy it because it was infested with large spiders and webs all over everything. One of the beds still had hair and dirt and looked like it hadnt been cleaned. Rust spots in the bathtub/shower and the shower curtain was worn out and dirty looking. After years of my kids wanting to stay at the "fancy" hotel we were all very disappointed and will be staying elsewhere on our next visit.

Love this property SO MUCH. Our only dislike was the mattress 😂 we'd also bring our own pillows next time. Honestly, though just for sleeping so nothing tylenol couldn't fix. Kid friendly, delicious restaurant and very friendly staff. 10 outta for Riveredge!
