We had the most amazing time at Paraiso Escondido. It is my wife's favorite resort of all time, and she's traveled a lot! Incredible staff. So quiet and relaxing. Great food and drinks. I'd recommend 10 out of 10! Our waiter Steven (in the pic with us) is the best, and a great representative for the resort.

Subject: Thank You for a Wonderful Stay!
Dear Paraíso Escondido Hotel Team,
I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone at the hotel for an amazing stay!
The services were outstanding, and I truly felt safe and at home amidst all the beautiful greenery—like I was in Tarzan's jungle! I would rate my experience a perfect 10/10 and highly recommend your hotel to others.
Thank you so much for your exceptional hospitality!
Best regards,
Julia Mira

The property is beyond beautiful. On sloping jungle cliffs, surrounded by verdant rainforest. Incredibly relaxing. Even though it was a torrential rainfall our entire stay (as in a national emergency level rain event), it was incredibly pleasant with Rosa (the GM) and the staff being standouts for their excellent service and attention. The villas are huge and comfortable and also have wonderful vistas of the surrounding area. The black sand beach and salt water pool are just a few of the several nooks and crannies you can walk to across the resort to relax and hang out in. The food and drinks absolutely delicious.
Just an absolute joy of a resort. Would give it 6/5 stars.

This is a very lovely resort style hotel. There are no kitchens but the restaurant serves really good food, every meal we had was really delicious; you could tell the chefs were very well trained. The views are spectacular and there are screens on the doors and windows (not common in Central America) so you can hear the ocean all day if you want. There is a private little beach with access to a couple of sea caves (at low tide only.) The pool is pretty, clean, and has an excellent view of the ocean. Also, the beds were soft! Another thing uncommon in cent. amer. lol.
The staff are very courteous and attentive, and when I accidentally forgot a small item the manager even found a way to get it back to me. Also, we knew we would be out late one night, but all I had to do was let them know we were on our way back and the guardhouse was opened for us. A couple of nights they also provided some mild live music at the restaurant. There is also a separate bar and ocean water pool.
Couple of things to consider if you are thinking of visiting:
-it's secluded. You're not going to be easily able to walk anywhere else and there is no nearby town. This works well if you want peace and quiet, but may not be your thing if you're looking for convenient stores or nightlife. There's also no uber out there and transport via the hotel can be expensive.
-The walk to the beach is down steep stairs, so accessibility may be an issue for some.
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend!!

Absolutely happy with the resort and service personnel, all friendly, always ready to attend to our needs.
The beach is huge, clean and best in the area, food is tasty, Kimberly and Erick "Chefs" will make your food anyway you like, I loved the way they made my seviche.
Rosa the Manager, the Face of the hotel goes out her way to guide you with tours, she recommends people she trusts, I give Rosa and the Villas, not only five stars, I give them 10 starts.
if solitude is what you're looking for, this is place to be, but there are small towns in the countryside you can visit.
Again, I give Rosa plenty of stars for her always being around to help.
Thank You Rosa

I recently had the most incredible 3-night stay at Paradiso Escondido in El Salvador, and I can't stop raving about it! From start to finish, my experience at this hidden gem was nothing short of magical, and I wanted to share all the things that made my stay unforgettable.
First and foremost, I felt like an absolute princess during my entire stay. The staff at Paradiso Escondido went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and happiness, even though I didn't speak Spanish. Their warmth and hospitality transcended language barriers, and I was met with smiles and kindness at every turn.
A special shoutout goes to the manager, Rosa, who made my stay extra special. She allowed me to contact her via WhatsApp, which was a lifesaver when I needed help with arranging transportation, booking tours, or ordering food. Rosa was my trusted in-between person, and her assistance was invaluable throughout my trip.
Speaking of food, the culinary experience at Paradiso Escondido was nothing short of perfection. I have serious stomach issues, but I was delighted to find that none of the food triggered any problems. The frozen fruit juices were a personal favorite, and each meal was a delightful journey of flavors.
The beach at Paradiso Escondido was a true paradise. Despite the high tide during my visit, I still managed to explore the beautiful caves from a distance around 1 pm when the tide was a bit lower. The tranquility of the beach and the pristine surroundings offered a serene escape f

Paraiso Escondido is an amazing and Awesome Hotel. It is top notch in every aspect. The staff is very courteous, professional, and attentive. The property Manager, Rosa Mejia was just wonderful in every aspect, always making sure we were having a grand time. The food is amazing! Javier and Gaby in the restaurant, all the service staff and the front desk are all excellent. If you add to all this the fact that the place is very secluded, with a beautiful beach, and beautifully landscaped grounds, Paraiso Escondido is a must-see when visiting El Salvador. Just beautiful!

The last time I was in El Salvador was 42 years ago and back then it was not the safest and no one was traveling there without a specific reason. I gifted my mother this trip for her 69th birthday and it exceeded my expectations. The property is very secluded and very safe. The villas are built into the side of a mountain, high up on some cliffs. There are a several stairs down from the infinity pool to the saltwater pool to the ocean. It is just too gorgeous for words.
You are very secluded here so if you want to spend days shopping or sightseeing, bring a car or hire a driver. Everything worth seeing is within 1.5 hour away. But if you like relaxing and looking at the ocean and swimming in the pool and sleeping in hammocks, this place is for you. I can't recommend it more.
Rosa and her staff are so lovely, so accommodating. Thank you very much! I will be back!

Paraíso Escondido is exactly that a paradise. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by smiles and a courtesy staff. Rosa is the best and really make sure she makes you feel right at home. We had been traveling for a couple days visiting family in El Salvador and Paraíso was our last stop. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. We traveled with our 18 month daughter and she had a blast. We stayed in the Turquesa which was very spacious and accommodated our family needs. The food was delicious! Excellent food. The staff members Gabby, Jeremias and Javier gave superb service! Definitely visiting Paraíso again !

Ms. Rose is amazing. I came on this trip by myself and really didn't know what to expect. She took care of all my transportation needs and made sure I was safe at all times. She is the ultimate customer service representative! My only con was the cost of transportation off the resort. It's not really close to excursions, so you're going to pay to come and go. Also, there's only one restaurant on site and they serve the same menu, so that gets very old eating the same thing your entire stay, if you stay on the grounds. If they offered some social activities for the people staying, it may not seem so isolating. The food was great, just wanted more variety of options.

This resort was honestly exactly what my partner and I needed for a weekend getaway. Rosa and the staff at the resort were so friendly and accommodating to our wants and needs. Rosa was literally a text a way, always willing to answer any questions we had about the resort or area. The resort looks exactly like the pictures online and the food was extremely tasty. My favorite part of the resort was our villa. The views of the ocean from our private balcony were just breath taking. If you are considering this resort, don't hesitate because you won't regret it.

The Villa was beautifully decorated, spacious, and clean. The infinity pool, access to the beach, and natural caves by the beach are awesome. The staff is very friendly and kind. It was an awesome experience. The only con is that it seems to be catered to only Spanish speaking persons. (Posters/rules in the villa are only in Spanish and the cable channels have English option disabled). One other annoyance is that there is no Uber available in that specific area and they only call private cab service which is $80 to the airport. If you try Uber from another location and request it there to the airport, you will see the price to be $20. But you can’t call it when you are at the villa because the Uber app says “Uber is unavailable in this area”. Be prepared to pay $80 for cab service or try to get a cab number before going to Escondido.

We had an wonderful 6 days at Paraiso. The views are incredible and the resort is even prettier in reality then the online photos. The private beach is incredible. The outstanding thing about this resort though is the service which is the best we have ever experienced and we have travelled all over the world at hgh end resorts. Rosa the manager lives to serve her guests and does an incredibe job. She became a friend.
