Wasn't aware we had to pay to park . 10.00 plus taxes a night. Plus had to scan a code and pay, couldn't pay at front desk. Also flooring was stick tiltle and it was coming up.

Friendly service. We stayed one night, the room was comfortable and decent for the price. We did have to pay an additional fee for parking. The hotel is near the beach and was convenient for a short weekend getaway.

The only good things are the staff and the partial view of the ocean. The rooms and everything in the hotel is very run down (torn furniture and dirty carpet, missing light fixtures, uneven floors, dirty shower, not painted walls, hard to open and close doors and so on). It looks like they started to remodel it and did not finish. Parking lot is half empty yet they charge $10 per day. What a shame!

Hotel was off the beaten path and right across the street from the beach. Had a little bar in the parking lot, and the staff was super great and fun part of the check in process.

Megan introduced herself in the beginning and was excited to help us. Every single staff member was happy and spoke to myself and my mother like we had stayed her for weeks and we were family. I will come back to this hotel probably every time I go to Corpus Christi!!!!

We booked a room with 2 queen and 1 king beds due to having 5 adults and I didn't want anyone to be subjected to a sofa bed. We got there and the front desk person was nice but said they tried to call to let me know our room had been damaged in a recent storm but couldn't get ahold of me. I had no messages or missed calls. She "upgraded" us to a room with ocean view but it had a king, a queen, and a sofa bed so my adult son had to sleep on the uncomfortable couch. The elevator was broken in the evening so we had to use the stairs to the 4th floor. The coffee in the lobby wasn't hot. I honestly was still ok with all of this. The deal breaker was the roach that crawled across our headboard when we were about to go to sleep. We were exhausted and our adult kids were already asleep so instead of trying to change rooms right then, we just moved our pillows to the foot of the bed and hoped nothing crawled on us or infested our luggage while we slept. They're probably in all the rooms anyway. This is the most expensive room I have ever booked and I have never seen a roach in hotel or even motel before this. We asked for a manager in the morning and were told one wasn't on site but would be there at noon. I asked that she call me. I let the lady at the front know what happened. She apologized but said it happens occasionally due to south TX having roaches. I haven't gotten a call from the manager yet. We didn't eat breakfast there since roaches are in the building so we wasted more $

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good and they kept it stocked, which was difficult because it was a busy holiday weekend. The room was clean, but a bit disappointing because of the condition of the facility. It seems to be older and hasn’t been maintenances over time. The tub had rust, the bathroom mirror was coming apart and the patio door stuck and was missing paint. We weren’t able to sit on the patio and enjoy the beach view (that we paid extra for) because the air conditioning vents to the patio and heat was blowing on us when we were out there. Overall I was just a bit disappointed in the condition of the property for the price we paid. The pool was nice though.

It was a very good stay was greeted by friendly staff nice locale by the beach and decent breakfast although serving area was small and crowded. The room was spacious and clean I liked that staff didn't hesitate to give us extra towels when asked. The only drawback was the pay for parking $10 a night.

Worst hotel, worst service. There manager and staff is rude. Hidden charges. They will show one price for booking and will charge additional amounts unethically after check-out.

The staff were absolutely friendly and welcoming. We were single moms traveling with a total of 5 small children and a friend to help us with the kids… and the staff absolutely served us well and made our kids feels valued and welcomed on the property. Not once did I feel like an inconvenience or a nuisance. The cleaning staff kept our rooms tidy and the calls vacuumed despite the amount of sand we trailed in. I would stay there again and again.

LOVED the location to the beach! Super friendly staff. We did a one bedroom suite: one room for us, one for two 15 yo boys! Breakfast good!! Beds comfy. Only thing we did not like: water pressure sucked

We had this reservation ahead of time and we did not receive news on having to pay for parking. We were not able to bring anything into the pool area but only a water bottle. Receptionist was flat out rude and worst attitude I have ever experienced. Woke up at 6 AM to workers yelling and did not let us sleep. Wouldn’t recommend one bit.

Good hotel walking distance from the beach. Good clean rooms and nice place to stay at. They did double charge me over 1,000$ however and after a week have yet to deliver a refund. Apart from their wonky system and random charges, the hotel is a good stay and was a good place.

We had a one night stay. The room was both clean and comfortable. The place is a little old and it showed in a couple of unimportant ways (rust by the tub and old window dressings). The information said the hotel is on the beachfront, which is not really the case; however it is close enough. I was disappointed that we had to pay $10 a day for parking. Thank you to the staff who were friendly, professional and helpful.

I wouldn’t talk much about the challenges if it was an inexpensive place. The sink light in the bathroom flickered and went off. TV was defective and changed color over and over. The fire alarm went off in my room early in the morning. Only in my room. No reason given by front desk. Bed was comfortable. The window blind was broken. Lots of little things that made the stay not that enjoyable. Oh, and I didn’t know about the $10 parking fee until I was told be the counter when I arrived.

We chose Holiday Inn Express because they advertised a hot breakfast , fitness center and access to a personal safe in the room. Checked in on Saturday and realized there was no safe and no telephone. The hotel room itself was clean however The pillows and blankets and towels were all damp to the touch.Saturday evening went to check the fitness center to find all equipment out of order. Sunday we had the hot breakfast and it was really good and there was plenty for all the guests. Sunday evening after we got home from dinner at 6:30 maintenance was in the room next door renovating the room. As we tried to relax and watch tv all we could hear was furniture banging around and loud noises coming from the room. My husband complained because we were there to relax and rest and we were not able to do so. After having to convince the manager what was going on because she did not believe my husband she moved us to another room. At first the room seemed very nice and clean (still damp) until the next day when we returned to the room and it smelled like mildew and the floor under the AC was soaking wet. Monday we went for breakfast and there was hardly anything at 7:30 am. The person in the breakfast area said that machines were not working to make enough food to accommodate all the guests. There was cereal and some fruit and pastries available but not eggs or bacon. My husband and I ended up having to go pay for breakfast outside the hotel.

Hotel was so clean and comfortable. Best breakfast ever!! The staff were all friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I highly recommend this hotel. Right across the street was public parking with restrooms and beach access.

Huge difference between day and evening staff. The night staff seemed stressed and were very short with customers. The day staff (morning) were very friendly and outgoing. Room was a typical hotel room. Nothing special. The bed was way too firm for me. I got a room with a balcony to enjoy the beach vibe. I have longer legs and was pretty cramped. We were on the 4th floor and the elevator sounded like it was struggling to make it. Breakfast was typical for a free meal. Did have an automated pancake maker which was nice.
