Had a lovely time at the hotel. Service was excellent and friendly. Lots of extra unexpected touches like refreshments in the room, happy hour in the afternoon. Love the rooftop terrace with a view of the whole Jerusalem.

While this is a small hotel in a busy area it was super well located. Very hospitable, good breakfast and a bonus happy hour with free snacks and even som ewine.
Definately great Value. We will return her for sure.
4.7
Great location. Friendly front desk. Rooms are on the small side but comfortable.
4.7
The staff was outstanding; knowledgeable, very pleasant and helpful. The rooms are immaculate and well designed, but small and there is not enough room for a chair. Windows in the room and bath can be opened. Location is central, close to Machane Yehuda and the old City. Excellent coffee machine in the room and a rooftop lounge
4.7
Nice boutique hotel, rooms are small, but enough for what we needed.
Parking is an issue, if you come with a car.
4.7
A stay. One of the best hospitality we have experienced in Israel. The staff went out of their way to be helpful (with things like booking a taxi on Shabbat and getting aloe for a burn). The afternoon snacks and wine were a very nice touch. Yes the room is a bit small but still has enough room for 2 big suitcases. Was very clean. In contrast we stayed at a different “5-star property” in Jerusalem earlier in the trip where we had an awful stay re: staff and cleanliness. We would recommend this place. 10/10

Nice hotel with renovated rooms. Friendly staff. Complimentary happy hour can be made into a meal.
4.7
Great place, very central with good food nearby.
4.7
Loved the location, staff, breakfast. Room was compact as was the washroom, but expected for a boutique hotel. Adit was helpful and always smiling, willing to help. See you again soon!

I really appreciate staff’s hospitality. I booked the room without breakfast. But they provided me complimentary breakfast considering my long flight from Japan and tiredness. In addition, my check in time was from 2 pm. But they also provided early check in. Thanks to their heartfelt hospitality, my stay was really good:) I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. And I’ll definitely stay
here if I visit Jerusalem again! Thank you for all staffs and excellent property!

I would definitely recommend this hotel to other solo travelers. The free happy hour in the evening provides enough food for a meal (which was really helpful during the week of Passover, when everything was closed!), and the front desk staff were really friendly and helpful, particularly with recommendations for the nearby market. The hotel is in a great location, less than 10 minutes from the market and just under 20 minutes on foot from the Jaffa gate of the old city.
4.7
The staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel is located close to the Old City (i.e. a cab ride cost 32 NIS/$8-9 US to the Jaffa Gate), with tons of dining options within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel was clean; the breakfast was really lovely. Our room was just a room and the bath was a tad on the small size, but served us well because we were only in the room basically for sleeping. There is a parking garage just down the street a bit, which really was your only parking option. There's a little fenced courtyard which was quite pleasant for those days that ended early. It's a cute little boutique hotel and we would stay there again. (Only thing missing is a chair in the room ... that would be nice)
4.7
Well appointed hotel within walking distance to the Old City, dining, and shopping. The breakfast (which we paid to add on on one day) was excellent. Generous happy hour in the afternoon, and super helpful staff! The rooms were on the small side, but that is fairly typical in Israel and Europe.

Front desk very personable person.

I have done a lot of traveling across the globe and it is exceedingly rare to find the level of service my wife and I found here. The communication, even before we checked in, was excellent. We stowed bags before our check in and were greeted warmly with tea & coffee (& chocolate). All questions were answered warmly and enthusiastically. I also enjoyed the happy hour as well as the set up of the hotel. Simply superb!

I stayed here for almost a week and the hotel is great. The location is perfect for everything, close to the market, walkable to old city. The staff and very helpful and pleasant

Very welcoming and helpful reception staff. Gave us towels and water for our trip to Dead Sea, directions to go to the pub to watch World Cup soccer, called us a cab, had some chocolate in our room, nice evening reception with snacks and wine, etc.
locations is close to walking streets and great outdoor market but a bit far from the old city if that is where u want to hang out though.
Small rooms but we only needed to sleep there.

The Bezalel has it all: Location, cool boutique style, comfortable modern rooms, excellent breakfast and a fabulous staff! The staff was more personal and attentive than those I encountered in more expensive hotels in other parts of Israel on this trip.
4.7
A wonderful place for exploring Jerusalem. The rooms are on the small size, but perfectly adequate for two persons. They come with all the standard amenities, and some extras like a small Shabbat treat waiting for us on Friday afternoon. The breakfast is top notch and a lovely happy hour makes for a nice way to end the day. The hotel is located within walking distance of most attractions including the Old City, Mahane Yehuda, the Israel Museum, etc. The staff was very helpful and efficient. Would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful intimate and pretty boutique Joel with original art in every room by local artists. Great breakfast and we’ll located. They have a highly recommended Artist Hotel in Tel Aviv.

Nice hotel, good location, front desk were pleasant and very nice, Eden was great, gave us a homey feeling.
We really enjoyed our stay.
The one problem was breakfast, it was average at best, no normal coffee, bread and pastry were cold, a bit disappointing.

Staying at the Bezalel Hotel is a real pleasure. The operations manager, Adi Gitei, and other reception personnel are very friendly, helpful, and kind. Indeed we found the whole staff of servers and housekeepers very accommodating. The rooms are comfortable and nicely appointed. The dining room is attractive and the breakfast buffet is quite good. Relaxing on the roof deck with a beautiful view of the city is a real pleasure. Its location in the center of Jerusalem is very convenient.
