We really enjoyed staying here. They are conveniently located in town and have easy river access as well as fire pits on the property. Staff were really welcoming and helpful. Also dog friendly!

this place is amazing they have a huge pool and the lake is within walking distance and the pool has a bar next to it and there was more amenities we didn't get a chance to try but hopefully can go back and stay longer

Wish you would fix up all the older buildings and exhibits

The Mini split system sounded like a jet plane. AM street noise. Dirty floor. Only ones there so we must be in the best cabin, right?

We stayed in Megs Boarding House for my birthday weekend. Didnt help that it rained and a cold front came thru. But didnt stop us from utilizing the pool. I dont think id stay in megs boarding house again though and would definitely upgrade to a newer cabin. But glad i got to experience staying in there. Was very adorable, but walls are super thin and we were upstairs and man those stairs are steep ...and i get it...its old fashioned megs boarding house lol. But there was even dirt marked on the ceiling.. Over all, Had a great experience. The whole pioneer town is amazing and absolutely loved it. I didnt know there was a scavenger hunt. Next time i will definitely take part in that! Down town wimberly shopping center is right up the road, great places to eat, And hike! In the evenings you will see deer all over the properties it was beautiful! Heb is also right up the road so that was nice. Will definitely be back for a longer stay with family this summer!

Stayed in the "King Cottage" - pictures are right on. It was clean and very nice - a bit small, but that was expected! I'd call it cozy. Will stay there again.

I was pleasantly surprised by 7A with the peaceful quiet when sitting outside the cabin. This was a very relaxing stay and will return when we next visit family in Wimberley.

Amazing location on beautiful blanco river. Rooms nice. A touch pricey but would stay again.

Bathroom was not stocked, bed sheets were dirty in main bedroom did not look like they were washed/changed as there was dirt in the bed when sheets were pulled back, and disappointment as it did not appear like the photos or expected per reviews. Though the ladies in front desk were great, informative, friendly, and helpful.

With the exception of the bathrooms, the cabins were nice and spacious. Beds were clean and comfortable. Great location close to downtown area

Great place to stay right on the river! Gorgeous views and lots to do nearby. I'm sure it gets very busy during the summer, but our stay was nice and quiet.

The property is very nice to walk around during the day, I loved being near the river, and walking around. They need to have more light at nigh. I almost fall when I was walking from the pool to my room. It was really dark at night no lights in the road. They need to have better towels in the rooms.

Great views and great atmosphere.

It’s a really cool place in a unique setting. I mean, staying in a ghost town was definitely different and cool. The bed was way too bouncy and the bath towels were small and worn thin. If you can get past those two things (which we did), you’ll love the serenity of the river and the wildlife.

I've been coming to 7A for 58 years. It's a family tradition and one that will continue. My children who are 31, 28, and 26 have always said that if they would have to choose between 7A and Disney World, they'd pick 7A every time!

Ir was very fun and cute. I wish we would have stayed longer so we can enjoy blanco river besides that the classic building we stayed was a bit old but not bad at all the beds were comfortable. Would love to visit again with more time

Absolutely favorite trip!!!

The amenities were good & also the location, but the room itself was not. We could hear everything in the room next door (including the beeps of the microwave buttons) and upstairs. The door between the two room moved everytime they would go in and out & it sounded like someone trying to get into our room. The bathroom was very small, like wash your hands from the toilet small and the window unit was very loud, so you couldn’t watch tv. We just felt that for the price, these things need to be addressed.

My husband & I made last minute plans to attend Market Days! Availability was very limited! Glad we chose 7A Ranch! Quaint and interesting little Pioneer town! Would stay again.

The concept of the old western town was good, but the displays inside the buildings were run down, damaged and dusty. The rooms were basic, but clean, and the river view was lovely! The staff were very kind.

Absolutely amazing! We stayed in The Oak House, over Christmas- we are a family of 10 and the house is so big and a lot of rooms for everyone to be comfortable and not all up on each other. Tons of seating options in every room. Comfortable beds. Nestled in the woods we saw deer on the lawn which really drove home the “Santa’s reindeer” theme with the young kids. Highly recommend this house.

Absolute worse place I have stayed in my life. Place should be closed down

Beautiful river view from our cabin! It was very relaxing sitting on the front porch enjoying the environment. The place has a rustic vintage vibe and is great for kids. There is a cute "old west" town on the property. The staff were very friendly! The beds were comfortable. The bathroom needed some updating, and as a result, did not feel clean enough. Would stay here again.

This is a neat place with fun things to do. I thought it was too expensive for what we received. The cabin had two air conditioning units, but one was inadequate for the bedroom, kitchen and bathroom it was intended to cover, as there was also a large gap under the front door. It may not have been not working at its best. We didn’t complain because it did produce cool air, but I am typically cold at night and needed no covers until 4:30 am. (Kept waking up due to warmth, as it was quiet.) Also, I really appreciated the friendliness of the staff and the tone of most text messages, but for a 1-night stay and trying to get away from work and its frequent messages, I have never received so many text messages. Perhaps a few could be skipped or an opt-out could be offered. Cute pioneer town and everything was spotless. Kudos to your amazing cleaning staff!

The property is beautiful and great for a get away from. The cabins themselves are pretty nice, but the scenery is what makes the place so nice. It’s quiet and right near shopping places. It’s very expensive, and they will charge you for every thing they can like using the kayaks, more guests, and anything extra. But we enjoyed our stay, would book again but only for a VERY special occasion.

Place was awesome. We didn’t have enough time to enjoy it all, but staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. Rooms were nice and cozy. Will definitely be bringing our kids back.
