Location to waterfront. Suite was nice.

Rooms were spacious, not a lot ofdrawer space, staff was friendly and helpful. Bed was ok, feather pillows got flat too fast . Breakfast was good.

Poor and rude customer service. We checked in at 11pm. I said “hi, I have a reservation through Expedia”. The receptionist/front desk person, without even saying Hi or responding to my greeting, with a frown, stated “last name?". I stated my last name. She asked “license and credit card”. I was taking out my credit card and license ; and asked her could I get a room away from the street or on higher floor as I am noise sensitive. She said she has only a few rooms left and they are all facing the street. I said since I am noise sensitive ; I am happy for even a downgrade but give me room away from street. My wife asked can we look at the room. This was enough to get her curt and rude - she demanded credit card and license and said without that she cannot do anything further. I gave her credit card and license - without saying much she pulls out 2 keys of room 113 and tells us this way up the flight of 6 stairs on first floor facing the street. I reminded her we wanted to look at the room to at least check amongst the few she had for picking the least noisy; At this point she changes her earlier statement and said that that is the only room left in the entire hotel .. We felt she did not make any effort to say hi or even try to show us anything that we asked and just wanted to be done with us . Not fit an attitude for hospitality Industry.

The check-in process felt very personal. Appreciated being shown the amenities by a real person vs. punching buttons on an app.

The property was very modern and clean. The staff was welcoming and provided great spots in the area where we could dine. The room was very clean and spacious. The only thing I would have liked was if there had been plain croissants and bacon on the breakfast buffet. I highly recommend this hotel.

Bathroom celing paint pealing off. Mold/ rust in shower. Bathroom door had something very sketchy on it.

Our shower was not clean. Alled down to speak with someone but didnt get an answer and had to be somewhere. Family in same room type paid less and had a larger room.

Very nice room! Staff very accommodating, helped us with luggage and brought a chair that would work in shower. Toilet height great, could have used one more bar in shower.

Was very pleased with this hotel will stay there my next trip to WV. The staff was friendly and a great location.

I grew up when this was the UpTowner Inn. They have made it into such a nice hotel. I would highly recommend staying here. You can walk anywhere in downtown Parkersburg in less than 10 minutes. Good breakfast, nice rooms, friendly staff.

Nice stay, pretty town. The only issue keeping this stay from a better score is I booked a king size room but was given a queen. The food should be better quality considering Marriott's reputation and valuation.

We always stay here, my husband absolutely loves the comfortable beds, blankets and pillows. All the staff we came into contact with were wonderful and very friendly. We will definitely be back here on out next trip

Awesome place to stay in Parkersburg. Close to downtown and you have to check out Parkersburg Brewing. Great beer and amazing food.

This place has a lot of nice touches such as an upgraded shower, large closet, and well-stocked kitchenette. The lobby has a number of smaller, more intimate, sitting areas.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful as well.

Amazing, great fire pit outside made it perfect!
