3 nights enjoyed in the hotel. Great quiet location, you would not of known you were in the centre of Bangkok.
Lovely room, simple but very comfy. Great breakfasts. Also nice to have an outdoor area to relax after a hectic day sightseeing. Highly recommend.

Absolutely lovely hotel. Very quirky and a nice change from normal chain hotels. Breakfast was very nice and staff were very nice and helpful.

This is a very cozy hotel situated away from the noise of the city yet still walkable to some great spots like the night markets. The staff here were very friendly and helpful. I especially enjoyed having breakfast in the courtyard every morning.

This is a super cute bed and breakfast hotel. The decoration of all the spaces and the rooms is unique. I had a wonderful view of the standing Buda. You should consider it’s mostly self service and the rooms are pretty basic. There are no real amenities so it’s mostly for travelers that will just come in and sleep. It was cute overall.

We loved our stay here. Many walkable restaurants, ease of tuk tuk or taxi and fairly close proximity to major attractions. The little gems of exploring this neighbourhood were the best!

I have been staying at the property since 2008. The hotel is a hidden oasis in the middle of Bangkok, the staff are lovely and the charm is the place has captured my heart forever.

If you’re staying in Bangkok, you NEED to stay here. Away from the noise of the city, a sanctuary during your trip.

The hotel staff are friendly and very helpful. I love the rustic style hotel and the area surrounding that’s quiet. Hopefully we’ll return again soon.

Every details are so cute and relaxing. Love this place!

The hotel is hidden in an alley way so it is pretty quiet. There are local street vendors nearby selling delicious food. The hotel is very unique-I only wish we had stayed longer to be able to enjoy the amenities.

Highly recommend

Perfect location, within walking distance from Kaosan Road, but in a quiet and genuine Thai neighborhood, with plenty of restaurants and great massage places around the corner, and with easy access to the express boats on the river as well as city buses. (Bus 53 stops nearby and takes you to many places of interest.) The hotel was beautifully decorated, and the room quiet and comfortable. Service provided - especially from Isabella - was immaculate and super helpful. We’d love to stay again!

Every time I visit here, I feel like I’m home. It’s a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, and offers a nice place to refresh midday as well. The staff are always friendly and super helpful, going above and beyond the call of duty. They helped me to find unique things to do and called the resort I would be visiting next to help with questions about my transfer. The welcome drink was a bonus and they even accommodated me being vegan by making special and unique dishes that were delicious! If you were a bread lover, they freshly bake croissants in the morning and the smell fills the air of the hotel. Laundry on site is genius! Highly recommend a stay here, if you’re traveling to Bangkok!
*In previous visits (pre-covid), they also offered in-house massage, cooking classes that were absolutely phenomenal, and a bar on the roof with incredible views of a wat (temple) nearby and the Rama IX bridge. Hopefully, they will have these amenities back up and running soon! It was one of my favorite features.

Difficult to find, but it's a little heaven. People are very friendly so quiet and cute.

Very pleased with our stay here. The perfect, tranquil hideaway after a busy day of site seeing. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and we found the communal areas quiet and relaxing. When we come back to Bancok this will definitely be our first choice. 😊😊😊😊

This hotel is fabulous & cosy. The entire hotel is decorated and hand painted, with such attention to detail. It’s quirky, but in the best way. The included breakfast was fabulous and fresh. Lots of variety to cater for everyone. There’s communal fridges to keep your drinks and snacks fresh. A washing machine and dryer (coins can be changed at the front desk). And a beautiful rooftop garden that is especially exquisite at night. The resident cats in the ground floor were a family favourite. We felt very safe and secure, with the front desk being staffed 24 hours. There’s a 7-11 on the corner of the lane, with an ATM. And there’s a pretty awesome restaurant (TonHomPakChee) on the corner of two main roads, only a few minutes walk from the hotel. The only detraction is the location is a bit further away from main tourist hotspots than we thought. Having said that Tuktuks and taxis are easy to find.

Wonderful eccentric lodgings. Clean and comfortable. Excellent buffet breakfast. Loved the welcome drink. Not a standard western hotel room in the best possible way.

Wonderful staff, incredible breakfast set up, unique decor and extremely clean rooms - and an awesome cooking class! We love discovering the alleys around this hotel. It’s definitely slow, local life. It’s comfortable and cozy. They even accommodate for vegans at breakfast if you ask kindly. :) It just feels like home! The only thing to offer would be some form of transport - maybe an hourly shuttle to the BTS or something.

Had an excellent stay at Phranakorn Nornlen just in time for Loy Krathong. The room was scrupulously clean, comfortable, and cozy. The entire hotel is thoughtfully designed and taken care of. Cute and functional details are everywhere. The outdoor eating area and covered platform make a nice oasis where you can read or hang out with small kids. On-site laundry machines were very handy. Meals were tasty and fresh, and we enjoyed the staffs Loy Krathong workshop! A unique place to stay. Its not accessible to MRT or BTS but we used Grab to get around/to get to transit hubs and it was effective and cheap. Two cats on site, very chill and friendly.

I was quite impressed with the cuteness and details that Phranakorn-Nornlen has. From before walking through the gate with my name on a welcome board to the cool drink received during check-in, people taking my luggage to the room, comfortable bedding, enjoyable breakfast options even for my gluten-, dairy-, and soy-free diet, constant friendly faces, and an enjoyable pad-thai cooking class. I just felt treated better here than at many, many of my other hundred nights a year on the road I go.My only niggle is that wifi last 2 hours and 20 minutes before expiring and requiring connecting again. As a digital worker in constant daily calls, this was a frustrating challenge everyday.

Property was ok overall, the design is charming and the property was clean

Best for weekend staycation to breathe the hard week day out. Tranquilly located near one of the best street food area as well as the beautiful temples. Great for family staycationers

Staff was very friendly. Room was clean and with a well functioning a/c unit and fan. Unlimited cold drinking water. It’s such a unique fun property to stay at. I definitely recommend it and the breakfast was delicious!!!

The rooms were amazingly decorated. The lobby looked like a museum. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful and went out of their way to assist in any way they could such as calling taxi, advising about shopping, etc. the food including lunch and breakfast was amazing. I will recommend this hotel to all others!

Beautiful and unique hotel with each room individually decorated. Located on a quiet area for Bangkok but only a 10 minute walk to a good restaurant area or to the boat stop. Lovely vegetarian breakfast.
4.7
Very sweet accommodation near Thewet market, lovely staff, unique old world charm guest rooms, very clean and homely. I enjoyed my stay so much that I am planning to come back again later on this year.

We had a great stay at Phranakorn-Nornlen - is now at the top of my list as favourite places to stay. Room for 3 was a great size, clean and just generally very nice. AC worked well (it was very hot when we stayed in April. Staff were all incredibly helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Food was also great - to a high standard, well priced and thoroughly enjoyable. Will definitely come back here if we are ever in Bangkok again.
