This place needs an update. The sliding bathroom door didn't have a stopper, so I slammed my finger between the wall and the handle . The wallpaper is curdling in places. The fitness room had one filthy and worn workout matt and all the equipment clearly needed a clean. The lobby smelled like old pasta and for some reason our floor smelled like steak. There are no pharmacy's or convenience stores within walkin distance so I asked for advil at the front desk and was charged $4.00 for a two pack . The front desk staff and wait staff were all terrific.

Stayed here several times. Very close to the lakefront and the 3rd Ward for shopping and dining.

Property and room were great. Staff too. It was somewhat annoying that at 3pm on a Saturday there weren’t any meal options onsite because the restaurant was closed.

I was charged for parking on the Expedia website and again by the hotel. With tip I paid $94 to park for one night. Meanwhile a near empty lot was across the street. Also, Expedia offered wi-fi and breakfast for $30. Wi-fi was free!

Nice place to stay and in a great location. For a Westin I kinda thought the rooms would be a little nicer and cleaner? Lobby was really nice, but the room was pretty basic. Overall felt clean but there was just a little dust build up on the vents, cracked mirror, and mold? in the bathroom But overall can’t complain!!

First time at this property and will definitely return. Staff was great, hotel was clean, great amenities, close to restaurants and bars. Parking was a little confusing but that was a minor issue. Overall...Loved it and highly recommend.

We were frantically trying to find something last minute because of a bad host on Airbnb. We came in for the HD Homecoming concert and I was able to find a room available here. The only one listed was a king room, and after we got checked in and tried to open the pull out sofa, there was no room. The hotel was able to find us a 2 queen room and offered us coupons at the restaurant/bar there since it was so late. The beds were so comfy, shower was wonderful and staff were so accommodating, especially Logan. The valet was quick and friendly and we had a great time!

Check in was amazing. Nice Summerfest host. We received water and genuine interest in why we were there. Everything was as expected. Will stay again

We enjoyed the lobby area while we were waiting to check in. We also got a lakeview room without requesting one. It was very convenient to walk to Summerfest. Would come again.

Got off to a great start but the experience with staff was not consistently excellent. Waited at least 5 minutes but closer to10 for the front desk to come out of the office to answer our question. The only reason she came was because we poked our head in the office where the young lady was on the phone having a personal call. She immediately dropped the call when she saw us and was very apologetic

The parking information was a bit confusing. When they sent you an email saying you can now check in. And what/things you need to know..I strolled down and first thing i saw was, parking valet was $39.00 self park $25.00. So we dropped of the luggage and re-confirmed with the valet person, he’s said valet $49.00 Self park down the street $25.00. What he’s felt to tell you is, for the over night parking only. Otherwise, $25.00 each time you in and out the parking lot?

Stayed for Summerfest, the location was perfect for walking to Summerfest but the actual room was mediocre at best for over $500. I chose Westin because they’ve always been incredible service and clean rooms. This one was just fine, also the only option for parking was $57 a night valet which isn’t advertised. The girl at the desk also couldn’t tell me what my incidental charge would be she just had to run the card? Never have I encountered a hotel who didn’t know what the incidental charge would be, she just wanted to run my card for an undisclosed amount? That was weird. I will still choose Westin hotels in the future but probably not this one.

My room was fully paid for through Hotels.com. When I got there I submitted my credit card for incidentals. Now Most of us know that incidental pending charge is usually $50 or less... They charged my card for a full room charge of $340!! When I asked the front desk about it they claim they have no control on what the company charges and they have no idea what is being charged at the time. You have to pay to park whether you are self parking or Valet. Valet parking is$40 a night. I was able to get my Valet parking waved because of the outrageous pending on my credit card. There is No Microwave or Mini Fridge and the bar prices are outrageous. Also if you have food delivered to the hotel you have to pick it up at the front desk! So Thankfully I did my tip online otherwise my driver would have not gotten a tip had he not stayed. I saw him walking away and I could tell he wasn't to happy about it either. I only stayed here because I needed a close drive to the BMO Pavillion for a concert and was willing to pay the higher price for a night to be closer. Had I known all this before I would have not stayed here.

It’s the closest hotel to Lake Michigan and is a ten minute walk to the Milwaukee Art Museum. The dining at Stella Van is Buren in the hotel was outstanding.

It was my girlfriend’s birthday. After reserving the room I called to see if I could get a view of Lake Michigan and that it was her birthday. Lady said she’d see what she could do. Not only did we get a beautiful view of the lake but she also upgraded the room to a Jr Suite. It’s been a wonderful experience.
