Nice place to stay

The historical element was an enjoyable part of our stay and adventures. We enjoyed the ease of transition to our planned events. Highly recommended to all.

Beautiful, historic home with nice amenities! Close to downtown Front Street and river walk area. Breakfast was fantastic and staff/other patrons were all so very nice. Would definitely recommend to family, friends, etc.

The house is beautiful. The rooms were clean and had all the amenities we needed except for the in room coffee maker & ironing board listed in the amenities. They were missing and we are early risers and like to have coffee so that could’ve been better we didn’t realize their absence until 6am, so verify before going to bed. The gourmet chocolate was a single mushed Lindor... Our room was the Azalea room, which is on the front of the house near the road. If you are a light sleeper, this might not be the room for you. The bed however was very comfortable and the linens were quality and comfortable. The bathroom was clean with plenty of fluffy white towels and courtesy shampoo & conditioner. The in-room window AC unit kept things nice and cool and also added steady white noise, but needs to have the intake vent cleaned as it was quite dirty. In the public areas corners and window seats need a little attention (bugs & debris). Attention to details matters. Breakfast was yummy: scrambled eggs, sausage, hash-browns, and French toast with strawberries. There was also a choice of cereal and very overripe bananas. I would recommend the Sweet Cane Inn just check to see that the stated amenities are available upon arrival.

Great location. Wonderful hospitality. And the homemade breakfast was truly excellent.

The first floor was beautiful! So well kept! But the bedroom I stayed in which was the Magnolia needed a lot of refreshing and improvement. This room did not match the beauty of the lower floor. I was disappointed with my stay in this room. It would be a good idea for the owners to update this room.

Really enjoyed Sweet Cane Inn. Great location to Historic Cane River Front St. in Natchitoches.

Beautiful historic home, and the Azalea room was great. It was an easy walk downtown.

Loved the inn. So cute and charming. Owner was super sweet. Everything was nice and clean. The bed was comfy. Can't wait to come back with my husband.

This B&B is very beautiful and elegant. We loved the room. Or only complaint is the bed in the Amaryllis room. It was way to soft. We literally felt like we were in a pit. was hard to sleep. Both of us barely slept and had backaches next morning. The room is gorgeous it just needs a new mattress. . You sunk down so

Was a step back in to time. It was just what we needed on that day. Very comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the morning drinking our coffee. Also, the breakfast was wonderful.

Love the home. The room was excellent as was the staff.

The Inn was a step back in time. The B&B (house) was built back in the late 1800’s. The current owners are working as they can to make the home resemble what it was back then. It is a beautiful part of history and the owners are very pleasant and welcoming.

Proximity to historic district. Would have liked to be able to see the river.

Old architecture which could be incredible with some updating by a professional interior designer. Chose to stay here after reading about special crepes that were served for breakfast and they did not serve them—total disappointment. Toilet did not flush properly and needed the attention of an expert plumber. Front porch was dirty and furniture on it was in desperate need of cleaning.

The staff was delightful and very helpful. Shirley, Harmony and John were all great and very hospitable. We felt extremely welcomed. Breakfast and afternoon wine/cookies were very good. We had a nice stay and the room was comfortable. Property is nicely decorated and very convenient to downtown.

We love to visit Natchitoches. This is a beautiful old home, walkable to the dining and shopping area. Very well done. Great breakfast. HOWEVER - be aware, this is a 3-story structure with no elevator.

It was an amazing stay!! Just a short walk to downtown and very convenient!! We had a wonderful time for our 10th anniversary trip!! Will definitely book there again!! The owners were very nice!!
