It's a typical Luang Prabang hotel/hostel. Price is excellent with breakfast included. Overall condition is ok. If you like to sleep in, it's not the hotel for you because the host/staffs get up very early like 5-6am. It can get noisy.

Housekeeping stole money from me twice. Lost several hundred dollars. They also took my friend’s insulin out of the refrigerator and threw it out. They of course took no responsibility. Additionally, they didn’t put us in the hotel we reserved. The room we stayed in was down a small alley and not as nice with no tv. Beware

I was taken to another guesthouse located opposite Villa Champa - not sure if it’s even the same place I booked. The room and bathroom look nothing like the photos and it was really dirty and run down. Service and location is great but not a place I’ll stay again.

We checked into Villa Champa but was quickly shuttled off to their sister hotel Villa Le Tam Tam. This is in a different of Luang Prabang and not as good location as Villa Champa. Rooms clean and spacious.

Nothing to shout about. Good location, no frills and small clean place with shower and bed. However, the room is small, probably 17 sqm. Breakfast is included, simple with a generous serving of fruit platter. There are better options to stay but if youre looking from the price point, theres really nothing to complain about. Overall, a pretty decent no-frills place to put for a night.

- From hotel , we can walk to ancient town , river and temple.
- overall cleaness is good. And enough to stay.
- this hotel is operated by Vietnamese, so they know not too much about Lao and local. They cannot speak Lao
- breakfast is simple and Vietnamest style.
- motorbike ( automatic) rent is 120,000 kip which equal to others. Airport transfer is 50,000 kip
- i stay inner room, so wifi is either very very slow or not working,

Firstly, we didnt end up staying in Villa Champa. After filling in the check-in form, we were told that we would be staying in what I think is a sister hotel just down the street - the Mekong Sunset View. This actually was better located than Villa Champa (on the riverfront and minutes away from the town centre) and looked a lot like t he pictures of Villa Champa. More annoying was that the balcony room we had booked wasnt available. No real apology or offer of money back but were told we could have one the following night so we had to move rooms mid-stay.Room was OK - a bit old fashioned but no real problems. Similarly breakfast was OK but nothing special.Coming back in the evening at about 1030pm, the hotel was in darkness but the front door was open. The receptionist had laid a mattress out in the lobby and was asleep on it!Overall, OK but nothing special although the balcony room we finally got had a fine view over the river.

Villa Champa is a very nice and cozy place to stay. The room is quite big and has the basic necessities. Value for money and great location too. Will certainly return again.

Good breakfast. The lighting in the shower room not bright enough
