We loved the pool and beach bar. Excellent placement for full moon party—being about a 10 minute walk or so but far away enough to have a peaceful stay. They offer some nice additional services such as in-room massage and laundry. There was a misunderstanding around when our laundry would be done so be sure to communicate expectations around that clearly. They require a 1000 baht cash deposit.

Great stay. Perfect location. Beautiful pool and room view. We appreciated the porch.

Amazing property! We loved everything: the pool, the beach, the restaurant & the happy hour drinks! The resort is really well located. Near everything (actually walkable to everywhere in Haad Rin) Plus, the staff was soo friendly and kind. They drove us at 4:30 AM to the ferry. Nothing negative to say. Thanks a lot!

Had a litlle bungalow that was nice and pretty clean (good cleaning everyday!). But like most bungalows you get some bugs inside. Overall the room was good, everything worked fine but a little worn. Very nice poolarea, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Staff was very helpful and friendly making our stay pleasant. Our room was very comfortable and we loved hanging out in the pool area and appreciated the close proximity to restaurants and shops.

What was unique about this property was the location, right next to the beach.

Stayed for full moon party. Location couldn’t have been better. Right next to the pier and right on beach. Place is kinda old but as are most of the hotels in the area

Rooms are gorgeous but the pool shown im pictures nt actually usable seems to be shut down same with the bar and food area. Reception is out of a villa wich was tough to find since the reception office is also shut down.

We got a free upgrade to sunset beach club- so better room- and it was great! Everything is clean and location is really good at the heart of haddrin beach. It’s weird due that the minibar not working when you not in the room - so you cannot have cold water when you coming back. Also weird you need to pay cash in the pool bar and cannot register on the room. But those are small things, if you need a good spot to be during the full moon- it’s a great one!

It was a nice hotel with a stunning infinity pool and good location to view the sunset...... The only real problem we experienced was with the safety deposit box, we had to get it unlocked 4 times in two days as it kept failing. Not a major problem as the responses where very prompt more a bit inconvenient than anything else. We stayed in room 203

I came to Koh Phangan for the Full Moon Party, and stayed at the Sunset Beach Club. Our room was one of the villas. First of all some of the good points:The staff are very pleasant and friendly. The check in/out process went smoothly.Transportation arrangements can be arranged at the travel desk for going back to the boat pier. The breakfast buffet was delicious. Food quality was overall pretty nice. Now for some of the not so good points:The hotel is pretty old and tired. It can definitely use some renovations and upkeep. Our room had some minor but nuisance maintenance issues. Our room phone was not working which was later replaced. The shower head sprayed water everywhere which was replaced but the same issue occurred again. For some reason the gym does not open until 1pm, which seems pretty crazy for the fitness center. The front desk staff at the time of check in did offer to open it earlier for me as needed. However not all the staff understood this. Each time a different staff member told me “open 1 o’clock”.So I had to explain what I was told at check in. The gym was also not the cleanest. It wasn’t swept or vacuumed for quite a while. There were leftover water bottles and cups scattered around. Some of the equipment was broken as well.Lastly, the beach is quite beautiful at first glance. However when you get close to it you will notice there is trash and debris along the shore. Not the kind of beach you want to swim in......

Good location for sun set !
Room was very nice and confortable but common parts (restaurant swimming pool) need some renovation. I need to pay for a towel that the cleaning woman didn’t replace.

We (couple in their late 20s) spend two nights at this resort. Upon checkin you have to sign a list of prices for all the furniture etc. in the hotel and pay a deposit of 1000 bath. Until the checkout we were happy with the stay. The hotel is located close to Haad Rin Beach (about a five minute walk) and is perfect for the full moon party. Breakfast has all the necessary stuff, not amazing, but great after a night of party. The checkout on the other hand was horrible. They tried to charge us with 600 bath for a towel that had some makeup stains on it. After arguing for about 30 minutes with the staff - and denying us to see the manager - they tried to wash it by hand(!) as quote „they wash everything by hand“! They went down too 300 bath after that. That s when we decided to wash it our selfs in the laundermat up the street for 40 bath. To no surprise, the towel was clean after that. We demanded the hotel to pay us for the laundry and our time (it‘s valuable vacation time lost after all) and reached a deal at 300 bath.
To sum up, they tried to rip off tourists! Therefore, never again!

This property is right on the beach where sun sets. Amazing friendly staff and all the services. The villas are beautiful and with the outdoor shower was my favorite addition to the villa. I have had an unforgettable time there, and was to stay only 2 nights but i came back after another island visit to stay another 2 nights. The manager of the property gave me a free upgrade just for coming back.

My friend got stolen , the staff managed to walk into the room while we were having breakfast and we had the Don’t disturb sign and still it didn’t stop them from walking into the room to steal the money ... and the money was in the luggage bag between her clothes. I don’t recommend anyone staying at this hotel.

Worst hotel ever they stole from my bag 65$ and frim my local currency even 800EGP which is equivalent to almost 2000THB , they ebteres the room while we were in breakfast And the restaurant usnt close to the room so they made sure we were still there , my money was hidden in my luggage and they looked for it so they needed time to do so, they are the worst hotel ever. I just checked out on the 21 june 2018, I dont recommend this hotel it is not safe at all.

If you’re up for partying and good vibes, especially during the Full Moon Party, this place ticks all the boxes. Funky, clean, great service, awesome pools, even better restaurant and room service with uplifting music being played by the pool all day . A++

The view is amazing, the pools are really good, good breakfast and location. The room was good but the bathroom was not so good. The shower had no pressure and it was really unpleasant to shower. A bit pricey for the offering.

I stayed at Royal Suite room in front of beach for $200 a night. Stupid mistake!Bunch of white girls, uncultured and rude, walk around the facility topless and triple kiss their boytoy. Come on! This is Thailand, NOT Ibiza, Spain!! They look down on Thai staffs and Asian people in general.avoid avoid avoid!!!I was expecting a quiet stay and these reckless white people pretty much ruined my stay. And also food was terrible.OverpricedWhite people treat this place like their backyardThis is just another Cancun in Asia

The hotel asked us to wait by the 7-11 by the pier while they collected other guests. We ended up waiting almost 2 hours in the sun waiting and the girl from the hotel couldn’t contact the driver. When we finally got to the hotel, the rooms we had booked looked nothing like the pictures. Small, dirty, very outdated. We were told we could get a 10% discount at their “spa” so we decided to get pedicures. When we went over there the girls were sleeping. We told them three of us wanted pedicures which took them almost 15 mins to start. A guy came over and wanted a massage and they started working on him right away before we had been finished, and one of us hadn’t even started! When thy started doing the treatments, they didn’t foot soak, used the same tools on all us and didn’t do anything but put oil on one persons toes. They also didn’t give us the discount. The food wasn’t very good. Missing ingredients listed in their menu. Overall the experience has been terrible. Definitely don’t waste your money.

The hotel has amazing infinity pool which is the best part of the property. This property is 10 mins walk towards haad rin beach and has various eating options near by! Over all we were satisfied with our stay! Only thing to note is that staff at reception is bit rude!!

My sister and I stayed here for 3 days during the full moon party. It was a perfect location because we could walk to the party but it was far enough away that we couldn't hear the noise from all th bars. The pools were nice as we sat out one day and got a great tan. Breakfast was okay, but I haven't had a great hotel breakfast anywhere in Thailand. Overall, I would recommend staying here!
