It was a nice place and full of character as would be expected in New Orleans. It was clean, and had everything we needed. Just a 5 min drive to the French Quarter.

We had the cottage and a Bungalow for our group of 9, and it worked out great.
The location was walkable to the quarter and the street car line, and there are great restaurants in the neighborhood and Bywater.
No concerns for safety, regardless of time of day. We would definitely stay there again.

The location was perfect with available parking.

Charming place and neighborhood. We enjoyed local places for good coffee and breakfast.

Great stay, highly recommended!
Marigny is awesome neighborhood to explore with B&W close to Frenchmen St (5 min walk) and French Quarter (15 min walk) to enjoy.
B&W was very communicative leading up to and during our stay. We had a minor issue with thermostat and they responded and fixed it right away. The property is older full of character which we like. We stayed in the Courtyard Room which was quiet and dark for good sleep coming back from night out. The drawbacks of older properties are there like plumbing and electrical is not state of the art, but tradeoff is charm and history. B&W is doing a great job here, we would definitely come back to stay here and recommend to our family/friends.

We stayed for Mardi Gras. Location was great and they were attentive to replacing a defective hairdryer the same day. I only wish they would have offered a mid-week cleaning as living in a single room with another person can get messy! Otherwise great water pressure quaint courtyard.

Absolutely beautiful, unique property just out of the hustle and bustle of the Quarter, but easy walking distance to all of the sights. The French Market station is a few short blocks away and gives you access to beyond the Quarter. Included were all of the usual conveniences and a super comfy bed! Our hosts had thought of everything that we might need and any questions we had were just a text away. Soaking in the hot tub after a day of sightseeing was the perfect way to end the day! Horn's - literally a few steps away - is a gem. A great spot for breakfast. The property's two courtyards are the perfect place to curl up with a good book and a latte on a lazy afternoon. We highly recommend B&W Courtyards and look forward to our next stay! Lisa and Rene - Calgary, Alberta

Contact with Jennifer was excellent , taxi s were difficult.

Loved this place. Would’ve been 5 stars but we stayed in the carriage house at the front and had a really disturbed night on the Sat/sun (until 4am) with noisy people banging doors etc - obviously nothing much the owners could’ve done about it. Also missed the breakfast which wasn’t available (good place to eat just across the road though!)

The property is cute! It’s smallish, but we only slept there, so perfect. It was very quiet at night.

This is in a great location for New Orleans. Just across the street from a great breakfast shop, on the corner is a great local bar hang.
The apt itself is just very small. It’s best for one person or a couple that’s okay being very close for a few nights.
The bathroom unfortunately was just the size of a closet and made it very difficult to get ready in the morning or even think about shaving your legs. The stairs were uneven and felt unsafe to carry luggage up and down.
The bed was pretty nice so that saved it. And the location is the highlight.
Just know this is in the back of the property down a long shallow walkway and it’s meant for a small adult…who’s flexible.

I chose this property based on others reviews. I must say, I was NOT disappointed! Located well within walking distance to the French Quarter, quiet, safe neighborhood, the friendly bar on the next block had some awesome people. The communication from the host was outstanding. This will be my go to place on every return trip to New Orleans.

This is a unique property for sure. One of the reasons you love New Orleans.

If you want to stay in a place that makes you feel like you are in New Orleans, this is it. This is an older place, which I only feel gives it the character it needs. It is also a smaller place - no big lobby, elevators or lots of people to deal with. You can park your car when you arrive and walk to anything you need (the walk might be too much for some, but we loved it). Any minor issues when had while staying there (example: needing another towel), were immediately taken care of too. We would definitely stay here again.

Charming and spacious property. Flexible check in and check out when we needed it due to our flights in and out of New Orleans.

We liked how clean, quaint and quiet it was. It was a bit further from the French Quarter than we realized but we walked everywhere anyway. It’s very close to the lively music of Frenchmen St. and the excellent food at Paladar 511. The plumbing was good for such an old place and it’s well-maintained. The owner keeps cat food in the front entrance for the pretty but thin stray cat. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a pleasant stay at B&W Courtyard! You can tell that the houses are very old, so they do have some wear and tear on them...but it makes the stay all that more of an experience. We were also worried about finding street parking, but we had absolutely no problem. The courtyard is beautifully decorated and surprisingly quiet, considering how close you are to the hustle and bustle. We were able to walk everywhere. We tried as many of the little cafes as we could that are within about it 2 blocks of the property!

Property is definitely unique and charming. However, carriage houses are dark and rather cramped.
‘ Contactless’ I’m this case means cleaning staff only appears when someone checks out
Also, concerns about heating and cooling being affected neighbors’ thermostat were responded to first not response at all, then by polite denial. We had to figure out to modulate the thermostat according to neighbors’ settings.
The hosts should acknowledge that there is a potential heating cooling leakage situation from the neighbors unit.

THE GOOD: Bathroom clean & nice, good size refrigerator, room has a ceiling fan, love the bathroom ceiling heater, comfortable mattress, cable channels and Hulu & Netflix, cute courtyard. THE BAD: Found out AFTER the reservation was made and paid for that they were not serving breakfast (but reminded to bring a swim suit for the hot tub). The hot tub was not in working condition. Though the water temp was set on 104 it never reached 88 degrees and the chemicals were sooo strong. The decorative pillow on the bed had something crusty on it, the ceiling light was covered in cobwebs, the extra comforter had silvery-blonde long hairs on it and the condition of the wood furniture was pretty beat-up. THE ABSOLUTE WORST: I was greeted by a STARVING cat every time I entered or left my room. This cat is the courtyard pet. Its food & water bowl are located across from our room door. After 2 days of empty bowls, it was apparent that the owners were not going to feed this poor cat. I purchased cat food and gave it food and water the rest of the time I stayed there. My last day there, I opened a cabinet next to my room in the courtyard and there was a tupperware container with a little cat food in it. There are also other reviews about this cat. So, the owner can not deny that this is their pet that they just decided to not feed (for at least a week). This animal cruelty is unacceptable. I can overlook the cleanliness issue and broken hot tub, but not the animal cruelty.

We'd stayed on Bourbon Street prev., but this time chose the Frenchman Street area .I wasn't so sure when we first pulled up, BUT this place was secure, quaint, decorated like the neighborhood it was in. We were so close to everything we wanted to experience. Quite lovely. Nice to have access to laundry too. My only suggestion is to have more than 1 chair in the small room (like a folding chair) - we had our camping chair with us

We absolutely loved our stay! The location, accommodations and courtyards were great. The owners/managers communicated clearly and everything was perfect. We loved being steps away from Frenchmen Street & many excellent local restaurants. We will be back.

Snatch up this booking as soon as possible! It is a collection of cottages that are so cute and well-appointed, yet full of New Orleans feel. You are a short walk to Bourbon Street and Frenchmen Street, yet your location is quiet and easy to park in. There is a cafe on the corner with great, fresh, delicious breakfast and lunch menus with sidewalk seating. I could not imagine staying anywhere else when visiting The Big Easy!

Visited Nola for a weekend getaway. This B&B is in perfect walking distance from all activities yet it is secluded enough that you can rest well away from the crowds and noise. We rented a car for day trips. It was very easy to find parking around, many times we found spots right in front of the door of the B&B. This is a large house converted to a B&B. Very charming and cozy. The rooms are decorated with unique touches. Tom and Dana were very nice to provide all information we needed. They accommodated our early arrival and made great suggestions about the area, prepared delicious special breakfast each morning where we ate at a communal table .Had great conversations with other guests and Tom. The only one downside was that the very small and uncomfortable bathroom in our room. I'm not sure about the other rooms. Rooms don't seem to be standard. Other than that we do reccomend to stay at B&W.

Delicious homemade breakfast. A little street noise from the room which is the Front Carriage Room due to its location right on the street.
Helpful and friendly staff.
Great location for music on Frenchman and not too far from French Quarter on foot.

We loved the personal touch. The Courtyard was very comfortable and Tom was very warm and friendly. We weren't sure of what things to see and do, but he sent us suggestions and was always very nice and informative to talk to. Breakfast was very good, and also the friendly visit! This was a very warm and inviting place to stay!

We had a wonderful 3 night stay in the courtyard suite. This B&B is exceptionally charming and quiet. The king-sized bed was quite comfortable, the courtyard with hot-tub was very quiet and relaxing, and Tom’s breakfasts were absolutely delicious. Walking distance to many activities, restaurants, and shops in the French quarter. Tom and Anna were very gracious hosts with plenty of helpful tips for first time NOLA visitors. We definitely plan to take another trip to NOLA and stay at the B&W.

What a charming little B&B! Its tucked away at practically the narrowest part of the Marigny neighborhood, making the distance to the French Quarter or Bywater a very short walk. The owners were extremely accommodating and Tom fixed us two amazing breakfasts during our two night stay. Ive stayed in Hotels and B&Bs in practically every neighborhood in New Orleans. This one stands out as one of the best Ive stayed in anywhere... not just in NOLA, but anywhere - Europe, the Caribbean, Asia... anywhere. I highly recommend B&W Courtyard. It was charming and they made us feel very much at home.
