If you have to stay in Reading, PA, this is the place to stay. The whole establishment is gorgeous and kept in such great shape. It’s like being transported to the past. The manager was kind and friendly and very helpful with recommendations. Breakfast was delightful (hopefully you get to try to omelette and the potatoes). The town itself is very quiet and shuts down early so expect to get plenty of sleep in the extra comfy beds there.

This is a beautiful bed and breakfast . Inn keeper Dennis went over and above . Very clean and comfortable . A delicious breakfast provided . We were in town for a concert and this was a much better stay than a hotel . We absolutely loved it and to top it off Dennis’s wonderful hospitality .

On the advice of written reviews. I was in town for a concert at Santander. Opted for the inn instead of the larger hotel. Best decision I could have made! The inn was gorgeous, relaxing with so much character and charm. Everything was thought of from complimentary water, soda, tea, coffee and impeccable accommodations. Dennis the innkeeper was such a gracious host and very knowledgeable on the area. The complimentary breakfast was delicious! Can’t wait to come back to visit.

What an amazing stay! Brought my 13 year old daughter to her first concert, and we decided to stay here instead of a hotel. Excellent decision. The innkeeper was amazing, the suite was gorgeous and the bed was perfect. Fully recommend staying here!

Beautiful old mansion full of charm and history. Dennis, the innkeeper was beyond hospitable. He was very friendly and put on no airs. We immediately felt comfortable. Dennis was happy to show us around and chat about the history of the home. We stayed in "The Wilhelm" suite. It was huge and well appointed. We felt as though we had stepped back in time yet it had all the modern conveniences such as comfortable bed, television, refrigerator and Keurig coffeemaker. At check-in, Dennis asked what time we would like breakfast and if we had any food allergies or diet restrictions. After a wonderful night's sleep, we showered and headed downstairs. We were offered a variety of omelet selections and juices. A platter of the most delicious fresh fruit was served while our breakfast was being prepared. Our omelets were freshly made and served with bacon, potatoes and english muffin. My husband and I agreed that it was the best breakfast ever. We will definitely be returning to Reading, Pennsylvania to stay at the Inn at Centre Park.

The Inn is grand and glorious, as was our stay. Dennis is a superb host; breakfast was delightful, scrumptious waffles, fruit and a local touch with tiny shoefly pie muffins. The bed was comfortable and the pillows perfect. Can’t say enough good about the place.

The Inn at Centre Park is incredible! We booked Sarah's Suite and particularly enjoyed the balcony, bay windows, large bathroom, and fireplace. The property is visually stunning, with lots of charming historical décor, beautiful stained glass, sculptured ceilings, and lots of plants. The room was extremely comfortable, spacious, and had some modern amenities (fluffy towels, bath robes, toiletries) to accompany the decorative tiling and claw foot tub. Dennis, the Innkeeper, was friendly, pleasant, and made our stay that much more enjoyable. It's obvious he cares about the property and has great pride in managing it. From recommendations on where to go and what to do, sharing facts about the property's history and area, Dennis was perfectly hospitable while still allowing us our space. The breakfasts were fantastic, gourmet, and delicious. All the folks on here mention the waffles and omelets for a reason (but don't forget the English muffin bread)! The Inn's chef had different offerings to choose from each day, and presentation was absolutely beautiful. We would certainly stay here anytime we are in the area.

Where do I start? Fabulous Victorian property, possibly the cleanest bed-and-breakfast or hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The host Dennis is a fabulous proprietor, the breakfasts he provides are as good or better as any I’ve had in the hospitality industry. My business doesn’t require that I go to Reading Pennsylvania often, but now I’m looking for reasons to make the trip! I can’t say enough about this property and the host. Fabulous place!

The Innkeeper Dennis was there to greet us upon arrival. I found him to be very kind and clearly loves his job. The exterior of this Reading mansion is gorgeous. The stone work and stained glass windows alone...but then there is a chimney with a copper patina point and the best for last, to the right side there is a massive copper patina balcony. In interior is equally as impressive. Plaster ceiling in the breakfast area, amazing carpentry, and of course more intricate stained glass. We stayed in Sarah's room. Let me just say this, if i could live in that room, I would.

Wonderful stay at an architecturally significant mansion. Historic charm intact! Innkeeper Dennis is friendly, knowledgeable and a wonderful cook. My daughter and I were antiquing in the area and the Inn served as a convenient base and luxurious retreat to come “home” to. The vibe is pleasantly relaxed. You will not be disappointed!
