I really enjoyed my stay and I had booked the standard room with private bathroom. The room was very spacious, with lots of windows and a high ceiling, and included a small private balcony which made for a great quiet reading spot. The staff were all very friendly as well and sociable, which was something I appreciated. In the evenings in the reception/common building, they had some great blues and folk music playing in the background which really made the space feel very relaxing for me.
My bathroom did have tiny little springtail bugs on the walls once in a while, but honestly it was fine and I considered this normal given the foresty area and the fixed open window slats for ventilation. Otherwise the bathroom felt very clean, even cleaner than some 3 star hotels I stayed at in Thamel.
The only unpleasant thing that happened for me was unfortunately being there during their one huge thunderstorm after no rain there for 2 weeks. There was lots and lots of sudden rain and I soon found a couple roof leaks that led to wet spots on my bed. I told management at the end and they responded appropriately.
Lastly, if you want to check out the view tower for sunrise, they easily arranged for a car. It was 1500 rupees which you can split with others who also happen to want to join in on the ride.
Overall I would definitely book with them again! Very peaceful spot with lots of chill space on the property.

This hotel has cozy and inviting atmosphere with extremely accommodating staff. Their unique style is rustic with whimsy. The price is very reasonable and the people you will meet as you gaze at the peaks will inspire.

This is one of the most amazing “budget” hotels we have stayed in. The owner MR. Baja and his staff are for friendly and very accommodations to your needs. If you want to chill for several days and enjoy a relaxed vibe then I highly recommend a stay at at the end of the universe!!

Property was quiet and offered good views of the mountains on a clear day. Staff was accommodating and kitchen offered good food. Biggest complaint was that the beds had bed bugs which bit members of my group. Notified staff and they didn’t seem very apologetic. Hope the issue is resolved for the next tenant staying in our room.

Beautiful hotel in quiet and peaceful location with epic views. No hot showers and cleanliness leaves a bit to be desired but you have to keep in my you’re in a rural area.

Very relaxed atmosphere, not a luxury hotel. But the food was great and the staff were always friendly and helpful.

The terrace views of the Himalayas are absolutely breathtaking, the cafe is cool and has a hippie vibe while serving good food, but the rooms are absolutely disgusting and freezing cold. I opted for the "more expensive" $36 room and there was mold on the pillowcases, the bathroom stank, and the whole room was freezing cold with no heating and not enough blankets. That being said, I was a normal tourist, not a trekker, so maybe for people who would otherwise be camping it would be okay.

Had an awesome Christmas Eve there! Good food and small but nice room (like a wooden tent)
Very friendly, helpful and playful staff (showed us some Nepali dance, drumming and songs)
Nice view on the top of the small temple
Sunrise walk is highly recommended even though it is a long walk

What a relaxing stay we had in this beautifully located hotel. The staff were perfect in their customer service. Food was also delicious. Only slight gripe was a damp smell in the room but I don't think that can be helped with the environment.

The mattress was thin, so I was glad I brought my own inflatable pad.

This really is on the edge of town without views of other hotels so the location is perfect. Too bad it was foggy so the mountain views were obstructed but it didn't affect the ambience of Nagarkot. The staff is wonderfully helpful and friendly. They do have a restaurant which I found to be a bit pricey for what was on offer. Do take the time to find the 100 nrp deals in the village proper and try out the yogurt at the local dairy! Delicious. Overall a relaxing and delightful stay!
