Very good place to stay if you want something more quiet and remote from the beach scene, while being close enough to the beaches if you wish to enjoy (with transportation). Very friendly and efficient staff and a very good on-site restaurant scene

This is a resort away from the city, so if you love shopping in air-conditioned malls, then you're going to be disappointed. The resort itself is well-equipped, but the addition of a 7 Eleven or TOPS Daily convenience store would be perfect. Otherwise, one can get easily bored in an isolated resort. The rooms are generously spacious, and we were assigned to a row overlooking the lake. It would have been a romantic getaway, if you were with the right people. The paid restaurant is the star of the resort, and the food is aroi mak mak. The buffet breakfast, too, is generous.
Seriously, the only thing lacking is a proper 7 Eleven store.

Amazingly beautiful. Took us by surprise. From warm welcome to gorgeous gardens & surrounding area. Fun at outdoor water park. Food was remarkable. Staff went out of their way to help us. Gorgeous tall lobby lady. Wonderful place. We will be back.

Feb 2020: Water Park is closed and underconstruction. Zero notification shown on Hotels.com and all booking sites. Waste of my time and money driving all the way to Rayong expecting to go swimming. Resort did not let me know until after I checked-in. Water park is actually much smaller in person than shown in the photos (all an a illusion). There are limited activities to do. Only small walk around, feed the fishes and sort distance bike ride (you can walk around the resort in 15mins). I was not allowed to ride the swan boats (as shown in the photos listed by the resort). The boats don't work according to the workers I asked.I am super disppointed in the "natural spa". Nothing here has been maintained or cleaned. All dusty. Beer garden was closed... Nothing but one restaurant. Food for the breakfast was mediocre.Sections are parted off for the "chinese". Only one thing was okay was the bathroom. There is a lot of space and was clean.

The property is well kept with many staff. The “water park” is nice and clean. We were upgraded to a larger room, which I really didn’t like, to big. But many people would like. The room was huge with a king bed and a full bunk bed and a shared balcony overlooking the water. The bathroom was huge also. You could have the whole family in the shower at the same time. Mostly a quiet property. The breakfast was very good and a great variatey of foods. The one warning I have is.... In our room inside of the wall and ceiling if you are quiet you will hear the rats. Yes that’s true, rats. The wife talked to a few staff and they all said the same thing. If many people you not hear them. That’s true if your talking or making noice the rats stay quiet. They didn’t seem to concerned about it. So for that reason alone we would not stay or recommend someone to stay. Overall a nice resort with pool, bikes and a restaurant in the forest. Which we didn’t eat at but walked thru, very beautiful.

We were a family with a small child plus 1 childless couple. Everyone had a great time. The grounds and the rooms were amazing. Breakfast was ample and delicious. The restaurant was beautiful and the food was good. Our child had an amazing time in the water park. Front desk and staff went over and above service expectations and helped greatly with our non English speaking sightseeing driver.
The only negatives would be that entertainment was geared only for Chinese guests. Example: karaoke at dinner and beer bar. Tried to join in at beer bar, but not a single English song...would have been easy to rectify...second would be no internet, but that’s not always a bad thing, although a hotspot in one area would have been nice. Third - no river toys as shown in picture
For children and families it was good and the positives outweighed the negatives, in my opinion.
Would stay again
Ps first Asian soft bed-added bonus!

We were nut sure if this was the place for us, so we only booked one night. When we arrived, we were taken very well care of, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel grounds are spectacular, it is like living in a rain forest. The room was spacious and beautiful, with a unique architecture that we really enjoyed. A view to the lake from the balcony added to our experience. We ended up staying three more days, and loved every moment. There is not much around the hotel, but as we rented a car every day, this was not a problem for us - and we felt happy everytime we returned to the hotel and their atmosphere. Unique indeed, and we are happy that we got to experience this. The restaurant had excellent food and we will happily come back.

Hard to communicate as not much English is spoken by hotel staff. Rayong is at least 2.5hrs from Bangkok so the drive is horrendous. We did it in a big bus and the trip took 5 hrs. If you go to this hotel plan to stay at the hotel or pay high costs in taxi fares.
It's also an eco resort so there are lots of bugs of all kinds so be prepared. Kids loved the water park.
Found bugs all in one of the beds and asked to be moved which was taken care of. The hotel staff said they came from the light, never seen them in Australia so don't know what they were. They weren't bed bugs so that was a relief
