Great hostel. Far away from downtown. But downtown isnt that nice. Can uber there. They have tour pamphlet there if you like. Have a QR cide with local things to do around. Enjoy the quietness too.

We stood here for 3 nights and it was super cozy and very comfortable. We got the private room and shared the Br with one other room, everything was kept clean and the space is beautiful ! There’s plenty of space to hang out,work/homework and the kitchen is a cute space with great espresso!

This was a nice place to stay for one night to catch an early flight. The hostel had shared space that included laundry, a couple of lounging areas, and bunk beds. There was also an option to rent a private room with a shared bathroom, which is what we did. It was pretty clean and relatively quiet. The area itself seemed a tad sketchy. All of the surrounding buildings had fenced in garages and barbed wire gates. I wouldn’t spend an extended amount of time here, but to and from the airport was okay.

Easy to find and close to downtown. Not much shopping or dining in walking distance but just a short bus/uber ride to town. Staff was friendly and bilingual. They were knowledgeable about a host of activities and could help explain local customs. My room was clean and secure. Other guests seemed okay but i didnt socialize much.

Staff at reception very friendly and helpful providing you with lots of helpful information. The bunk beds are very comfortable and generous in size including space to put your stuff around you, more like a pod than just a bed, also lockable drawers, space to put the bag, if wanted extra locked room for bag. Everything is super clean and kept clean multiple times per day. The showers and toilets are also very clean and spacious. The kitchen‘s fittings are not extensive but functional. There is complementary water and good coffee. Everything is light and open, airy and inviting. The WiFi works well without issues and there is a nice coworking space provided. Also a cute little garden including space to dry clothes. Laundry is offered at fair prices if needed. Reception is staffed 24/7 to let you in. And at night time they don’t just let anyone is but check that you u have a booking in so you can feel very safe. I did not explore the immediate area. It is a bit away from the city center but easily and quickly reachable with an Uber. There is a quite limited number of beds making it feel very cozy and calm with generous space.

Very nice one night stay. In a chilled out residential area that is close to Sabana Park and not far from the centre of San Jose.
All the amenities needed for a comfortable stay.

Staff from AM and PM both were very nice and helpful. Place is safe and rather quiet for San Jose, except louder than La Fortuna where we had arrived from. Overall, super cute and affordable hostel, would def. recommend!

Maria and the staff were amazing. I felt at home and cared for as a solo traveler. I need to use American Express to pay for my reservation and they went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. Would absolutely stay here again!

This is the best hotel I ever stayed in. It was a very lovely place. I met the manager the next day after my arrival and she was so willing to help me planing what to do. I am so thankful for that. The place is very clean the rooms very confortable. I dont really know if it was a buffet breakfast but I ate until I could no more and it was delicious too. I definitely recommend this place and definetely will stay here since again.

This was my first experience staying at a hostel and it was a pleasant experience. It was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. A basic breakfast was served every morning. I would recommend taking a bus downtown or driving yourself, for it's not extremely close. The bus system is fairly easy to navigate. The location of the hostel consists of residential homes and offices with a few tasty restaurants nearby.
