Loved this hotel. I was looking for a quiet hotel with good quality home cooked food, and that is what I got. Soup was outstanding!! Very friendly staff and helpful. I will definitely stay here again and recommend

Great stay, all staff were very friendly. This place is super dog friendly (I actually think nearly everyone in the building had a dog) During our evening meal one item on the menu was not quite right and they quickly sorted it out for us. The food was delicious too, including breakfast. The room was spotless and a lovely view across the valley.

Great Pub/Hotel nestled out in the country not far from Colne. Nice stay suppin' a few pints before retiring to bed.
Friendly staff, nice breakfast in the morning...enjoyable stay...can't go wrong booking here!

Lovely pub on the outskirts of Colne and Laneshawbridge with easy access for the Dales and the moors around Skipton. Clean and comfortable accommodation, and tasty food. Definitely worth a visit.

A proper country inn , great food , good staff , a good selection of drinks behind the bar .
My room was clean and comfortable with complimentary coffee and biscuits .
Breakfast was very nice , lots of choices on the menu and lots of choices of cereals and toast .

It was a flying visit to my home town and we very much enjoyed our one night stay. The Alma is rustic Inn with lovely views and very quiet. The staff are friendly and helpful and the dinner was delicious. Being on the Lancashire/Yorkshire border it was an amusing touch to have the room keys on cricket balls.

Lovely hotel great staff food was excellent and in a lovely location. Only thing that let it down was the price of the beer was just that bit too much felt like they were taking it too far

Hotel was absolutely spotless. The staff really friendly and very helpful. My sister and I enjoyed our stay and would come back again.

Beautiful place, with stunning views front and back. Room was fine, but the bathroom was a bit tired. Didn’t eat there but the food looked nice. Would be lovely to sit outside with a beer when the weather picks up a bit. Will stay again.

Quick stop visiting friends.
Lovely location and very busy food operation worth a visit if your passing through the glorious countryside. Staff busy but helpful enough.

There was nothing to fault or stay at the Alma Inn. What was disappointing was Expedia's failure to make it clear that their "super rate" was room only. Don't fall for this one or it will cost you an extra £14 per person for breakfast. I was also informed that Expedia was going to take £1,01 from my card to check its validity whether they have or not remains to be seen, but an extra £1,01 per booking must amount to a lot of money per annum. Stopped the night for a family wedding around the corner. Very cozy, dog friendly and the breakfast was amazing. The rooms were spacious, clean and the bed was super comfy. Defiantly would stop again if we were that area of the country!

Arrived about 10:45pm, asked if any food available...none only alcohol, not even vending machine.
Nice bathroom. Bedding had blood and other unknown stains. Not impressed by cleanliness. Bar noise filered up to bedroom. Hall and room smelled like old wet wool, too hot to sleep, no fan, no airconditioning. A disappointing venue.

Really clean room and en suite. The en suite was large and had a powerful shower. The inn was very spacious and well kept. Great food and beer. Also an extensive wine list if you're into that. The eating area was well presented. All the staff were amazing, really friendly and were always happy to help. No noise at all at night, its not that sort of inn. We would definitely stay again.

couldn't ask for more!
A perfect place to stay for a few days or an overnight stop off. The room was clean, comfy and felt like a home away from home and not kitted out using the standard cheap furniture that you normally get.
The pub and friendly staff couldn't be faulted! more than happy to do anything for you with a smile.
even though there was a Christmas party happening at the same time, I couldn't hear any noise from the group in my room.
this is now my go-to place to stay
