Close to the main highway- it doesn’t catch the noisy commute but is close enough that it is easy to get around. Starbucks is literally across the main road. Spacious container van and comfortable for 6 adults.

I really loved the atmosphere of the place. I appreciate how everything is eco-friendly(ex. the flooring has recycled bottlecaps?). Everything was good, I want to back here for a whole week(me and my family only stayed for one day). However, only the mosquitoes were the problem. Overall, I give this hotel 4.5 stars!

Loved the concept of the recycled Containers transformed into a Bed & Breakkfast. If you love camping this is for you. A li’l rough yet comfortable enough. So unique!

The water heater a not working we have to boil water in order to shower. No hair dryer in the room. Bed sheet is dirty and I have to asked them to change.

Great concept using upcycled materials and being eco-friendly. More hotels should be this way. We really enjoyed the aesthetic in our room and in the hotel. The bed was comfortable and the room was cozy. The staff were friendly. Our room however, could use some repairs. The bathroom faucet was wobbly and the shower could use more cleaning.

Loved the idea of the eco/green in a shipping container. The decor was creative and cute. The staff were courteous and professional and the breakfast and coffee were phenomenal!!!
Unfortunately the room was fairly dirty. The bed sits on palettes and the palettes and the floor beneath we very dusty/dirty. The room had a very strong musty smell and the room was damp. I realize the climate in Tagaytay is prone to this but there are methods to improve that. Additionally there was no hot-nor warm-water. We loved the idea of it all-but wouldn’t stay again.

Cute rooms but you can hear people outside since the rooms are literally (used) containers. Location is also good since it is away from the Tagaytay traffic but kinda far from the line of restaurants.

Overall it was good except for the 6th occupant’s bed, it was set up with additional fee but the bed was not comfortable. But overall, place was pretty clean , staff responds to requests promptly.

Unique Hotel Concept!I must say me and my wife had the best stay at this hotel. We enjoyed their unli bbq at the rooftop, I believe their restaurant is called Camping and Grilling. There was also a tent in case you’d want a glamping experience. An open space and function room was also available if you’d want to do some events there. Overall, this hotel gives you a quality experience while helping the environment. You get to stay in a unique hotel concept while making sure that you don’t leave much carbon footprint. Simply amazing!

Best Eco-friendly hotel in the Philippines! When you go into this hotel, you’ll be mesmerized by how eco-friendly it is—they have this Bring Your Own Bottle Concept wherein you can bring your own bottles to have them refilled, they also use sustainable wood for their counter tops and bed frames, and wine bottles were also used for the light fixtures. I was in awe of how unique and eco-friendly this hotel is! I have never seen such concept in the Philippines, this made me more proud to be a pinoy! Good job Eco Hotel!

I am a huge fan of everything eco friendly and sustainable, that is why Containers by Eco Hotel Tagaytay was just perfect for this stay! This place is very unique and has its own charm. They have cool and unique concepts and what more they have actual containers for their rooms. I just love the ambience and feel that this hotel gives—truly a home away from the busy city life!

Me and my girlfriend stayed here with our beagle Bogart. I am really happy to have found not just a green hotel but also a pet friendly one. It’s very rare that you can find an accommodation just like this. There was even a play area at the rooftop for Bogart to play. Also I was surprised how innovative and distinctive this place is. Imagine they turned an actual container van into a hotel room which I think is very seldom used in the Philippines. They really put their advocacies into this hotel. Great effort!

Ants everywhere, including the bed. No hot water, so need to change room late at night. The new room had hot water, but also huge bugs (other than ants) and terrible smell from the exhaust fan. The door and a section of the wall let light in from the hall so it was difficult to sleep. The rooms are tiny, no space for suitcases. Internet in the room did not work the first day, the cable TV did not work the second day. Feces in the middle of the hall. Staff not empowered to do anything about our complains.

The concept is very nice and appealing. The room was clean, a bit small though but tolerable for an overnight or a couple of days stay. The cleanliness of the bathroom is something that you will seldom see even in prime hotels especially inns. Linens and towels are comfortable to use and no distinctive odors. The owner might consider putting curtains on the glass translucent doors for a more secured feeling of the guests since silhouettes can be seen when bedroom lights are on.Generally, we enjoyed our stay and will recommend it. Maybe regular customers can get bigger discounts also for succeeding visits.

Perfect place for us to stay that time. Clean rooms, huge bathroom. I like the whole feel if the hotel. There are sitting area along the corrider that can also have a table and we were able to eat there which I really like. It was raining that time good thing we came early because at night the parking is full. Food is a bit pricey but good and wish it has more food selections. No wifi on rooms.

Containers by Eco Hotel is a cozy place to stay in the heart of Tagaytay. Rooms are small built on the concept of container trucks but is actually adequate and comfortable for a single traveler or couple. However, there was no Wi-fi yet and I was told the wifi is still being set-up yet to be available inside the rooms, and is only available on the lobby. Toiletries like shampoos, conditioner and toothbrushes were not yet in the room when we checked in and still had to ask for it. Staff was also a bit disorganized getting orders and serving food during breakfast. Overall, staying here is still a great value for your money.

I hope they have more breakfast options, preferably some for vegetarians/vegans.

The place was clean and cozy. Price is just right for the place. Size of the room is small but good enough to move around. Location is also good not along the main road but very near it especially to starbucks (walking distance). Staff was very friendly, courteous and helpful. I would like to commend Kat Laforteza who really went out of her way to help me with a requirement I need. Would definitely go back to this place.
